i had my scooter serviced and it needed new bushes in the steering and the fitter called mally did a great job an im very happy how greenpower done the job straight away no long waits

GP500 perfect company and product …
I received delivery of my three wheeled scooter two weeks ago and thought I'd save the review until I've run it for a while.
The ordering was easy, I used the chat on their website for questions that I had about which model to purchase. the Green Power staff were very helpful and professional in advising me and giving information.
The order was placed and they contacted me straight away to arrange a delivery date with a timed window. Delivery was spot on time, by their own staff, a lovely guy named Andy who went above and beyond to ensure everything was OK, and I was comfortable with the scooter.
I've been out on both short and long journeys and the scooter is fabulous. It's very comfortable, stable, easy to ride and the battery is great. The longest journey so far has been 18 miles with a few good hills included, the scooter handled perfectly and there was plenty of power left.
Would I choose this company and scooter again? Absolutely yes. Green Power 500 model is very attractive, comfortable and functional. The company is very helpful and professional with great customer service

I bought a new scooter in December 2024 and am very pleased with it. Had an unusual electrical problem with it in May 2025 and an engineer came out to repair it within 7 days. He fitted a new controller at no expense and was very friendly and affable.
I am 80 years old and have purchased several other makes of mobility scooters over the last 12 years and I find Green Power are way ahead the others in all aspects, value for money, customer service and warranty obligations - In fact I would go on to say "I've tried the Rest but Green Power are by far the Best!"

Hi I just bought one today a BL800…
Hi I just bought one today a BL800 please note although the range states 35 miles on a single charge this is not the case if your a big guy like me I weigh 32 stone and I guarantee you your not going to get this range I know this from having a TGA s4 Breeze in the past your going to only get 10miles at the speed limit of 8mph, I know this is not what you want to hear but the bigger you are the more strain it puts on the battery so don't go planning long trips cause you are going to run out of juice also a not to buyers of this model I can't stress this enough get the option to buy hard tires you get a puncture they are hard to push even in free wheel mode also i suggestion that tour get a breakdown insurance cover from the date you purchase it as you nether know when it is going to get delivered. I am currently leasing a powerchair from Motability and I it has its pros and cons you cannot use it well on getting on public transport especially in Manchester due to the seating g arrangement on the Bee network the Metrolink is your best bet but please note that the lifts are very narrow and you might struggle getting in and out on certain stops ie Bury and Heaton Park. and the cons well it costs me £250 a month just to lease it as I have a top model powerchair. another con is now I have purchased my first brand new scooter I have to pay a £250 restocking fee with Motability but hey its done now also currently my chair went in for a parts upgrade and they might have it still for another month before I get it back but the did give me a superior model for a replacement .
Most scooters are road legal they come with a license plate number but this does not have to be visible like it does on a car.
I have been leasing scooters and wheelchairs from Motability for the past 5 years now and the money I have spent I could of bought 5 of the scooters by now so if you can avoid doing what i did save up and buy one outright remember if you go down the Motability route your only leasing it it is nether your even after the 3 year contract.
My mother bought the exact same model ordered in January and she loves it so if I like it I will give it an honest review on YouTube in the near future.

My 93 year old father purchased a new mobility scooter from Green Power Mobility in York, in 2022. To date, he has managed only to clock up a mere 30 miles on it.
The scooter has been unreliable from day one. Each time he has reported a problem Green Power have charged him £120 for a 'service visit', during which they will only inspect the scooter and then they charge a further £120 (plus parts) for a second visit to come back and rectify the issue as the engineer does not carry replacement parts on his van.
Dad has paid in excess of £750 in 'service visits' and parts, to date, and he has now completely lost his confidence to go out on this scooter. The last time he was out, it broke down completely, leaving him stranded and vulnerable.
In the beginning, they also charged my father for service visits, PLUS he had to pay up-front for every part which may conceivably be needed, ahead of the service visit, with the company promising him they would later refund any parts which were not used. Unless customers agree to this then they refuse to service or repair their scooters.
Customer service (Today's call was with their customer service supervisor, Enya ) have repeatedly tried to justify these practices and they have always seemed well versed and defensive in their responses when I have attempted to appeal for a common-sense approach to the issues my father was having.
I assume most customers will be buying their products in good faith, assuming they will be of satisfactory quality. Unfortunately, they simply are not.
Trading Standards have advised me that the above practices are in violation of my father's rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and they will now be taking action to address this issue with Green Power Mobility on his behalf.

Scam company sold me a scotter that doesn't work am going to trading standers am disabled and very vulnerable and was left stranded 13 miles from home am sueing this company id avoid this company like the plague far better companys out there trying to change there name also to green power mobility scooters

I had some concerns with my scooter
I had some concerns with my scooter. One was that I was unable to get access to my batteries. The lock simply would not open. I was getting worried about charging the batteries. Until yesterday when Steve arrived with a cheery smile and the solution. He fixed it.
He was also very helpful in showing me around the scooter. On things I was unsure about. A very informative and a very helpful person.

I bought a Unique 500 for my elderly mother , she had given up driving but had ridden scooters when I was a child. The retro cool looks sold it to her ! We had to wait a few weeks as they were waiting for a new delivery , but it was worth it ! We got a great deal too.
My mum loved the scooter , but in the winter she barely used it . The battery didn’t appear to be charging , so Greenpower sent the same lovely guy who delivered it to check it over . Turned out there was nothing wrong , a flick of a switch and it’s still 100% as good as the day it was delivered . A really helpful friendly company , I can’t praise them enough ! My mum is delighted and thank you Andy and Dawn !
I treated myself to he new dash pod…
I treated myself to he new dash pod cabin scooter. I wanted solid tyres so after 3 weeks it arrived only to have a problem with one of the doors so it went back and I was promised a new one. After along wait it arrived but it didn’t have the solid tyres so it went back again and after a lot of phone calls they told me it would arrive by lunch time. At 3pm I tried phoning and was told someone would call me. I’m still waiting, 7 weeks after ordering.
Bullying company
Bought a scooter, it was faulty, gave them a chance to repair it a month after buying it, they did then another 3 faults. Asked for refund they said no and it was a long battle for them to give us a new scooter that arrived faulty. Customer service is terrible and the customer service supervisor thinks way to highly of her self and is a bully trying to intimidate elderly and vulnerable customers. Company needs closing down!
Opaque Dealer
I tried to return my Fastest scooter a few weeks after purchase. It had two miles on the clock, but I was just outside the return period so they wouldn't accept the return. They further stated that as I had registered the scooter with the DVLA as they themselves had told me to they wouldn't accept it. I now tried to sell it privately at a significant loss and now they say the extended warranty I paid for, in excess of £400 is non transferable and non refundable . Total con !!
None of this was explained before purchase. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.
Won't recommend for anyone
This company is a scam, they are incompetent and liers they don't know how to run a business and they have incompetent staff
Maintenance is a disaster and they will drag the problem for months or years tell you just give up
