They took my money and ran!
I ordered some checks from Harland through my bank around the end of December, 2022. Harland withdrew the money for my order on January 11th, 2023. It's now August 2023 and I've still never gotten my checks! I had to put a stop payment on the order, close my account down and open a new one because my checks are out there somewhere with all my financial info on them! My bank won't give me a refund either. They only offered my next order of checks for free. First, it's not FREE, I already paid for them! Second, I'm not about to make another order of checks from Harland to get lost out there somewhere again! I would give them a NEGATIVE 5 stars if I could! I will NEVER EVER order from Harland Checks again!
Where is customer service?
There are layers and layers before getting to customer service. There is no way to "search" the site for a return. The company sent an "accessory" I did not purchase and makes it as hard as possible to send it back. I have always hated this company, but since so many have chosen not to use checks, they're even worse.

When I received my checks, they now come in stacks of 40 not 20 and they do not tear off properly at all. Do not recommend. I will never purchase again.

I recently ordered checks from "Harland Clarke". I wish I had checked the reviews before ordering. When the checks arrived, they lacked information. There was a notice that said, "Please inspect before using" and "Immediately call our customer service department if you find and error." No phone number or email were given. After multiple phone calls and internet searches, I finally was able to find a number to call, however, after giving them the required information, I was informed that they could not help me. Don't use this service!

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. Checks were ordered from this company in early April. They arrived on 4/27/23 with the incorrect address on the checks. I was told then that new checks would be sent out and it would take 2 weeks. On 5/19/23 I was told they "were going through a security check and there was nothing they could do". On 5/23/23 I received the checks WITH THE WRONG ADDRESS ON THE CHECKS, AGAIN. I was told on 5/23/23 that they would send me new checks with the correct address and I still don't have them. Now I've been on hold with them for 46 minutes. They don't answer their phone.

Criminal corporate-Buyer Beware
Criminal corporate. While ordering checks they kept flooding me with non relevant purchase suggestions, in my case masking an address label order suggestion as a discounted check printing order. Realizing the mistake the moment i got their order confirmed webpage, attempted to reverse it, without success. 0 response to both mail and phone.
Called up my bank, Meridian, whose representative talked to them about cancelling the address label order. Harland Clarke, flatly refused to carry out my bank Meridian's request. Have returned their mailed address labels, only to find a few days later that they debited my account anyway.
Stay away from this corporate criminal enterprise.

We ordered 1 "free" order of checks (Duplicate 75 checks) AND 2 Standard Register - 2 pack, 3 units.
We received 3 books of Checks and 1 Register.
It even has pictures on our Order Confirmation of what was ordered!!
Seriously, how can they be so incompetent and still be in business. Now I have to call (ha ha ha) to see how they are going to fixing this. Date of order listed.
Edit: We finally received them almost 9 days later. We'll order the free checks, Then go to Costco or Sam's club to buy the registers.

This company Epicly fails at having Zero customer service to speak to. Call any of their 800 numbers and go through any of the prompts each and every time you will get a final automated response that says thank you for calling please shop us on our website "goodbye" 8 Times I've tried to talk to customer service about a reprint.

This has to be the worst web site and customer service I have ever experienced. The web site will only allow me to order 80 checks...not more, not less. Those will last about 4 months. After rooting around for 15 minutes, I tried to call. You cannot change your order quantity with their automated attendent, and you cannot get to a customer service rep, no matter what buttons you push. I have now wasted over an hour trying to buy checks. I will NEVER try to buy checks from these morons again. There has to be another solution. I bank at Huntington and these morons are their default check supplier.

Ordered checks through my bank on 2/28. Shipped on 3/2 to NY from TX. DHL delivery tracking ended on 3/7 in NC. It is impossible to reach a HUMAN at Harland-Clarke. My bank knows less about this order than I do. DHL has no great record regarding shipping, apparently it is used in the US because it is the rock-bottom cheapest. So now I have checks with all my personal info, and bank account # floating around in NC. Don't use this company.

Order Error, Unable to Contact For Information
Reordered personal checks. In addition, purchased two check registers. The checks arrived 8 days later however the registers did not. I called the 1-800 customer service number and after going through the numerous "press" this number stuff, I was simply hung up on.......on each of multiple attempts. I was never able to speak to a real person nor seek an answer as to where my purchased check registers were. I also used the "Contact Us" email inquiry.......twice. Still no response to that inquiry either. Terrible customer service
Security concern and failure to deliver…
Security concern and failure to deliver checks ordered through my financial institution in a timely manner. Checks were printed about a month ago, seem to be lost/very delayed in shipping. My bank was able to provide a tracking number that indicates one carrier (DHL Commerce Solutions) tendered the package to another unnamed carrier over three weeks ago. When the bank contacted Harland Clarke, Harland Clarke agreed to provide a replacement with express shipping. Harland Clarke told the bank’s associate that the missing order of checks will show up eventually, but provided no explanation for the delay and apparently isn’t making any effort to locate the missing checks. The bank said this has been happening sometimes with Harland Clarke orders. My impression is that Harland Clarke does not consider security in shipping to be important. Receiving another set of checks will not solve the problem that a box of checks with my name, address, bank, and account numbers is missing and could be used fraudulently.
