Afternoon Tea
Harriets responded to my requests very well, everyone who had the tea were very satisfied.

We had a virtual retirement party for a much loved colleague. The cream tea and prosecco where perfect for her to enjoy whilst we celebrated with her from afar due to Covid.
Perfect presentation, delivered on time and very delicious. She was delighted.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Website easy to order from. Delivery was on time and the food was amazingly fresh and chilled. Called to make a request for plain scones only, the lady I spoke to was polite, friendly and professional and only plain scones arrived. Will definitely use Harriets again. Free UK delivery also a massive bonus.

Ordered Afternoon Tea for a special celebration for my son and his partner. The boxes were delivered on time and the contents were as described.
I ordered four Afternoon Teas for six of us and as two have smaller appetites this was more than enough.
I had two of my own china cake stands to display the food on which make the experience extra special.

I am hesitant to write a less than glowing review, but on this occasion I felt I had to report my experience. It was my first time of ordering from Harriets and everything looked so delicious on the website and past reviews were excellent. The afternoon tea for two was delivered by a friendly driver in the early morning of the date it was expected. The packaging was good and intact. The contents were all present as described. My first problem was with the warm temperature of the food. The cream and sandwiches, although they had a plastic cooler packaging between them were received at 21.2C. As I did not know how long they had been at a raised temperature (a previous email had informed me that my order had been processed 2 days before), I was reluctant for my elderly husband and myself to consume high risk foods that had been temperature abused. We did not eat the sandwiches or cream. Having said that, the fillings in the sandwiches were very thin and the ham looked like standard run-of-the mill supermarket quality. We warmed the scones, but they still tasted stale. The tiny (and I mean .... TINY (not dainty) cakes) were uninteresting and battered to almost crumbs. On the positive side, the macaroons were delicious, and the prosecco (after a few hours in the fridge) was lovely.

Afternoon Tea for 2 was really nice….packaged, delivered as promised the day before and still fresh to eat. Highly recommended

Unlike my first experience which was for my birthday and everything went to plan, my order for a friend’s birthday did nothing turn up. I expect a full refund.

I ordered afternoon tea for two for my parents who were celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. I was notified of the delivery time and it arrived without a problem. My parents were thrilled and said they enjoyed every mouthful.

I ordered an afternoon tea for 1, which arrived in good time and was beautifully packaged (loved the cool pack for the clotted cream too). It had everything you needed, fresh sandwiches, cakes, fresh ground tea and lovely scones, jam and clotted cream. You couldn't ask for more, and all delivered to you. We had a lovely team virtual tea:)

I ordered afternoon tea for 9 (including 1 gluten free) for my daughters hen party and was extremely impressed by the quality of everything in the order. It arrived in plenty of time on the day and everything was fresh and well packaged. Would highly recommend.

I ordered several afternoon teas, for myself and some team members. I had a number of dietary restrictions, which were honoured perfectly, and the food was delicious.

I also had to make some last minute changes, including delaying a delivery date for one person. The customer service team were very responsive and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend.

Ordered an afternoon tea for a family member to have whilst doing a virtual Ascot afternoon, due to work schedule we had a tight window for delivery but this proved no problems for Harriets and it arrived in perfect time. Thank you so much for this.

Ordered afternoon tea for a virtual baby shower. On time delivery to 7 different addresses and perfect for the celebration. Good selection of small sandwiches, small cakes and two full sized scones, jam and clotted cream. Lovely loose leaf tea as well (had to dig out the tea pot!).
The only thing I would say is that I decided to set up an online account and the password security is one of the most stringent I’ve come across! Not sure anyone would ever remember any password they ended up having to use!
