Wonderful experience with Health Care Abroad . Totally professional and caring. Superb medical staff and doctors in Valencia. Wonderful modern hospital. All the Health Care Abroad staff were fantastic and it was fantastic to be picked up at the airport/hotel by such friendly drivers like John and Freddie. My cataract op was a huge success and I can’t believe my 100% eyesight. Thank you for caring and providing a superb service.

I honestly recommend healthcare abroad to everyone. I rang the end of January 2026 and explained my situation and they where so understanding, I had my surgery in Madrid the 17th of March 2026 under Dr. Mining (an absolute angel). I was suffering with pain from the age of 13 being told nothing was wrong with me and it was all in my head. Long story short… my pains got worse when I was 17 and I was begging for help for 5 full years. I contacted healthcare abroad and the way I was treated was honestly out of this world. I was treated with so much respect and dignity that I never had before. Javier who was my driver was a true gem every question I had he answered the best he could. Laura who was honestly my ride or die supported me every step of the way there was tears, there was anxiety every emotion any human would feel going for such a major surgery, I could go on and on for days about this but honestly I couldn’t recommend them more. I now have my life back living healthy no more pain and I’m back to work I just feel like a hole new person waking up everyday with no more pain is just something I can’t describe it feels amazing I now can live my life as a happy 22 year old and not suffer anymore. Even when I came home to Ireland I still had dr minig texting me and ring me and question I had he answered.. and doubt I had he accompanied me..

Brilliant service from pick up at Airport till my departure after surgery. Drivers were so nice, and so caring. Healthcare staff were just amazing . Amy , Kevin excellent to check in on you while in hospital and drivers eg John&Frankie Such lovely staff.
My experience will be spoken about to family and friends in which I trust was absolutely a pleasure to deal with each and everyone of staff. You are very much prioritised before and after Surgery. My progress has been great due to great physio before returning home.
Walking unaided 5 weeks after op and no pain. I made the right decision to travel to Valencia, amazing service .

My wife needed a right hip replacement, both of us are aged 73 and medical card holders, so we were looking at a long wait in the Irish system, when I found Healthcare Abroad. On first contact (Chris) he assured me that this could be arranged in 20 days and gave me several location options. My choice was Malaga, direct flights from Cork. Once the paperwork was completed with the help of the Healthcare Abroad. Travel began, we were met at Cork airport and a wheel chair provided and helped through the departure, met with the driver at Malaga airport(Dave) and transferred to the hotel. Consultation next day with Doc's and helped all the way by Rosa the patient liaision of Healthcare Abroad, operated next day, and released 4 days later, with physio twice a day for the next 5 days back home 2 days later. Through our time in Spain both Dave and Rosa were available at all times at the end of a phone, I have to give extra thanks to Rosa, a treasure !!!, a note to Healthcare Abroad KEEP HER .

I had a replacement knee carried out in Viathas Hospital in Benalmadena. What a success. No more pain or stiffness. I first made the phone call on the second week of January to Chris in Healtcare Abroad and had my replacement on 19th March. Could have been sooner but we had already booked flights for our holidays on Costa del Sol. Everything from start to finish was just plain sailing from meeting my Consultant, Dr. Fidalgo to my 10 sessions of physiotherapy afterwards. Bernardo and Hengameh pushed me in physio but that is what is needed. They were excellent. Our liaison at the hospital was Rosa. She went above and beyond looking after me. An absolute gem. Nothing at all was a problem and kept in touch with me every day until my departure. I cannot recommend Healthcare Abroad enough. If you are thinking about it, don't, just make that call. You will be glad you did. Excellent.

Healthcare Abroad took on all our practical needs and filled them. When there were extra needs during our treatment they went above and beyond to make sure we weren’t alone dealing with them. The administrative staff and the drivers also fill the roles of carers and interpreters, patiently and kindly. I cannot see how anyone could be anything but happy with this company.

I recently traveled to Denia from Ireland for my op. The whole experience was very good and easy. I got collected from the airport and all the staff I met along the way were brilliant. The level of care was very good and I would highly recommend this to anyone considering it.

I was in terrible pain with my gall bladder for over 12 months and taking pain management medication daily. Due to the extensive wait time in Ireland to be treated for my issue I contacted Healthcare Abroad.
My experience from initial contact of enquiry with Chris, Debbie and Siobhán has been incredible.
Rosa, my liaison person in the hospital, took care of everything i.e.appointments, paperwork, translations and keeping my husband updated when I was an inpatient. Her care of me and attention to detail post surgery as well as aftercare support was invaluable.
Dave the driver who transported me from the hotel to the hospital was so considerate and put me totally at ease.

Hospital, Benalmadena. I am now six weeks post surgery and have regained my quality of life because of the HealthcareAbroad.EU team.

Everything about my experience with Healthcare abroad was positive, from the first phonecall to the care I received in hospital and back at the hotel. The driver's couldn't do enough for me and any questions I had were answered straight away. Katarina checked in with me every day to see how I was doing after my surgery and making sure I had everything I needed. From start to finish, the quality of care was exceptional. Everyone I dealt with from my initial phone call to HCA, the drivers, hospital staff, surgeon, anaesthetist and administration were incredibly kind, caring and helpful.

My journey started with contacting Healthcare Abroad, my first contact was Brian who reassured me straight away that it was possible to have my cataracts done in Spain. From then on it was full on with getting my medical records together. Sandra was very helpful and made it easy for me to have my doctor sign off on papers. Paul helped me with my travel times and hotel booking. Sandra for looking after our paperwork for the doctors. Frankie met us at the airport, hotel was excellent, John and Adam were so helpful to get us to the hospital every day and looked after our individual needs so wel. Call greeted us at the hospital with ways a smile on her face. Amy was fantastic as well. I can't thank our Surgeon Javier for giving me back my eyesight. My quality of seeing properly again is unbelievable. I will certainly highly recommend Valencia for Healthcare Abroad. If I have left out anybody please forgive me. Your all a brilliant team.

From my 1st phone call to actually arriving in Spain , everything was organized for us. I was very nervous but the HCA team were so good at answering any questions we had. There was only 1 blip, which was at the 1st surgical consultation at the hospital. The surgeon spoke to me as if I was having a repaired shoulder op, so was very surprised when I told him I was in fact for Full Shoulder Replacement. All was corrected & fully explained later that day at the hotel by Dr Rohit. Only other complaint I would have was the hospital food. It was appalling. Not conducive to healing after surgery . I will most definitely be recommending HCA when I return home. Thanks again to an amazing team you have built Chris . 5*****
