I purchased my car insurance with Hedgehog because it provided the best policy by far with added extras other companies would charge for. It was a great deal cheaper than its competitors.

It was quick and easy to set up and competitive compared to other companies. Adding on or removing extras was straight forward and after reading policy I was assured I was insured for what I required

The quotes are very competitive and the insurance is what I needed. I did have a big problem when trying to change payment account in order to renew the policy.

Excellent service, but too bad that all insurance companies are throttling us with massive increases over the last 2 years. We accident-free drivers are paying through the nose for the sins of the uninsured and accident-prone.

Said it was cheaper in email. I checked it was £400 more. They then gaslight me saying i didn't understand. This is pasted from their email:
"One of our new partners has quoted a better price for your renewal than your existing insurer and we are therefore offering you their price."

Now they have cancelled my policy before it has ended preventing me from getting NCB.

You quoted a competitive price and it was straight forward to buy

I went to Gocompare.com, who provided a series of car insurance companies. I chose hedgehog because they appeared a good reliable insurance company and they answered all my queries promptly.

I’m over 80years of age and I managed to complete it on your website without much trouble so that’s a bonus for me.

Not bad during the first year of my insurance but I have just received my renewal which is 3 times the price of last year. Just tried to speak to them about it on their chat service but I couldn't get past their chat bot that basically told me to take it or leave it. I left it.

Easy to change over your car insurance online but an absolutely nightmare to be able to speak to someone.

Very new to Hedgehog and not a problem with change over from my previous insurer so hope any correspondence I may have in future is informative.
