Delivery Instructions Repeatedly Ignored – Safety and Service Concern
This review is not about the quality of the food. The food itself has been good. My concern is entirely with the delivery service and, in particular, the repeated failure to follow the delivery instructions.
I have contacted HelloFresh customer service twice about this issue, yet it continues to happen. Our delivery instructions clearly state that the delivery person should wait at the door for us to get the order (it literally takes about 30 seconds). Instead, the delivery person repeatedly leaves the food at our door and walks away.
To be fair, the instructions were followed once after I raised the issue, but after that, the same problem started happening again.
Leaving food unattended outside a property creates an obvious risk. The food could be taken, tampered with, damaged, or left exposed for an extended period. Ultimately, that creates a poor customer experience and, I would argue, an avoidable risk for HelloFresh as well.
I would expect HelloFresh to be able to address this properly by communicating the issue to the delivery person and making it clear that the delivery instructions must be followed every single time, not just immediately after a complaint.
I like the HelloFresh service and the food, which is why it is frustrating to have to raise the same delivery issue repeatedly. HelloFresh can and should do better here.

Our first HelloFresh box was such a lovely experience! 🥰 Everything arrived fresh, well organised and ready to make, and the recipes were so tasty. We really enjoyed trying something different and having all the ingredients delivered without having to worry about planning the shopping.
It made our weeknight dinners so much easier and we’ve already been looking forward to the next box! 😍

Perfect for busy households...
Started ordering from Hellofresh when our second child was born (two under two) and it's been great! We've been enjoying the variety of delicious meals and they've all really been delicious! It's still lovely to be cooking but it takes away the hassle of planning and shopping and cuts out wasted ingredients that didn't get used in time.
Would highly recommend to anyone with a busy schedule or small kids keeping them busy who don't want to compromise on having tasty homemade meals!

Only worthwhile when discounted
It has definitely saved me money from the supermarket however some of the ingredients go mouldy straight away such as the mushrooms and green beans. Carrots arrived very soft. It’s as if there’s no quality control on the ingredients.
I would only be purchasing this when it’s heavily discounted as it’s too expensive at full price. Though it’s quite nice to not be thinking of what to make for dinner every night

We are into our 2nd week. Lesson learned from 1st week look at expiry dates and use in order where possible, some of our veg were sadly spoiled last week, so this week we put everything in the fridge in the hope it will keep the veg better. Food and recipes are excellent otherwise.
