Great Tool for Lifestyle modification

The Lingo’s ability to quickly update helped me see what various foods would do to my blood sugar and track my fasting morning blood sugar relative to evening meal intake and timing. Overall the Lingo is a great tool to help modify behavior for improving blood glucose.

Weak Adhesive Falls Off

The product itself seems innovative, but the adhesive quality ruins the experience. I used two sensors and both detached far earlier than expected. The first started to lift after a week, the second even sooner. I made sure my skin was clean and applied it correctly, yet it still wouldn’t hold. It’s a shame, because if it stayed on properly, it would be a fantastic product.

Lingo provides very helpful feedback

In the short time I’ve had the Lingo sensors I’ve discovered what triggers glucose spikes and have already made adjustments in my diet to better minimize spikes and lower the daily average significantly. This is extremely helpful to avoid long term conditions that need actual treatment. My doctor let me try this approach before starting long term medications.

The app worked well for 6 days

Updated review - they replied after I sent my initial review (below) - 6 days later:

The app worked well for 6 days, then the bio sensor stop communicating with my phone. The app kept asking me to replace my biosensor (convenient, because I would have to purchase one). I sent three emails to the customer support and never received a response. Very frustrating. I have a friend who went through the same ordeal. It worked well while it did, but their lack of response is frustrating, and I do not recommend.

Love it WHEN it works

I love this product WHEN it works. Easy to use and informative. BUT - I have never gotten a full 14 days out of a sensor, and practically 50% of the sensors i’ve purchased are faulty and I need a replacement sent. Customer service, slow and difficult. Lots of room for improvement!

The first one fell off

The first one fell off. And customer service helped me. They were nice and fast. They sent me out a new one. This one last 2 days. Maybe 3. I got the information needed so I just left it. Stars for information and customer service.

did not work on two occasions

did not work on two occasions. First one never worked after few seconds. A replacement worked for 4 days.

Customer service is horrible

Customer service is horrible. It takes 2-3 weeks for an initial response. The company promises to replace the cgm if there's an issue, but it takes weeks to get any issue resolved. Mine fell off after a week and a customer service rep responded two weeks after my request and wanted the old sensor sent back. After three weeks, I gave up trying. Its not worth my time.

I have an iPhone 16

I have an iPhone 16, and it works very well. However, the Bluetooth was very intermittent. I lost contact with my biosensor at least twice a day and had to reboot my phone and the biosensor program.

I would like to use the biosensors more often but simply can not afford them.

Lingo is a Game Changer

I’ve gathered invaluable insights and data that revealed why I’m prediabetic. Armed with this data I can make essential changes and improvements to my diet and lifestyle. I can also show my doctor tangible evidence of what’s going on, some of it rather surprising. I now feel I can correct my issues and probably reverse my prediabetes. We’ll see!

After tracking my glucose levels and eating habits I was able to determine what I should be eating and most importantly what I shouldn’t be eating .

Spot on!

I finger pricked my blood sugar a few times to see how close the Lingo was and it was either spot on or close to it! I also love the app! I just wish it was a little less expensive!

Almost good enough

This review is based on the purchase of two sensors to check them out.
1. Price kind of high at $90/28 days
2. Easy to apply and connect
3. When the sensor was working the information was very helpful. The first sensor stayed connected the entire 14 days. The second one constantly lost the signal requiring me to turn Bluetooth off and then on again to repair. It that didn’t work twice I had to power down my phone then turn it back on. Rather frustrating.
I am pre-diabetic so I learned enough information for now to more effectively control my blood sugar. Thus I don’t plan to purchase again and when I do I will trial a different brand to see if I can get greater reliability and a lower price.

First time Lingo user and it could not…

First time Lingo user and it could not have been easier or the information more beneficial to my overall glucose journey. I found the sensor easy to apply (online video was great), the information was insightful and readily available to analyze my food choices. The app was laid out well and the build in point system made it almost a game/challenge to see if I could beat the Lingo count goal. Well worth the money.
