Herne Bay Domestics is an independent, family-run business which was established on the Herne Bay high street in 1984. Our reputation is built upon a combination of high-level customer service and care, and the ability to provide a large stock of domestic appliances at extremely competitive prices, as a result of close relationships with major manufacturers and being part of Euronics. We therefore believe that we have found the right balance between being able to care for the needs of every individual customer, whilst still often being able to offer the same products and prices as the biggest retailers in this field. Our team of delivery drivers and engineers are able to install every product we sell, as well as being able to demonstrate to customers how their new appliance works, and answering any queries on this matter. Meanwhile, our sales team are immediately on hand to fix any subsequent issues, as opposed to having to go through call centres and long queues. Fantastic service. 5 stars all the way.
We rang up about a tumble dryer, we were given the address of the warehouse to pick it up and told that someone would be there until 12pm and we were late but the lovely guy waited for us and even unpacked it so we could see that it was undamaged. He then repacked it and put it in our car for us. Fantastic service and the cheapest price too.

Fab service
Fab service, my washing machine packed up Wednesday, I popped down to the store on Thursday afternoon purchased one and they delivered me one on Friday. Delivery driver called five mins before to give me heads up , I’m a very happy customer.

Terrific company. Second purchase from them. Good service again. Went out of their way to bring the delivery day forward as we were without a fridge.Delivery man on time, courteous and did all that was asked of him. Will definitely use this company again.

I couldn't be happier with my purchase and the service I received
Having looked online for a chest freezer to go in the garage, the price was very competitive so I decided to try them rather than go with a chain/online company. Not only was delivery free, unlike the chains, it was for the following day!
I was given a 3 hour time slot on the morning of delivery and the freezer arrived in perfect condition and was expertly placed in the garage for me.
The delivery guy was pleasant and helpful and I couldn't be happier with my purchase and the service I received.

First class service
Aaron and Dave have today installed a new integrated fridge freezer, and recently an integrated washing machine too.
Neither installation was straightforward as the cabinet door for the washing machine already had too many hinge cutouts in situ, and the cabinet door for the fridge freezer needed replacing. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They worked professionally and skilfully to install both and have taken the cabinet door of the washing machine away to fill the holes and make good the door for us. This is over and above what we would have expected. The service we have received from the sale room through to installation has been first class. We would not hesitate to purchase from them again.

Excellent service
Excellent service right from myinitial call to book an oven repair through to the actual repair. Leo kept me up to date about his visit then was on time, quick and efficient whilst explaining what he was doing and what my options were. I would definitely use them again if I need any future repairs.

Excellent service from Hern Bay…
We found the service that Hern Bay Domestics gave us was second to none. We were in a jam and needed a hob quickly as ours had let us down. They had one in stock so we said we would purchase it and pick it up. We were informed that it was in thier warehouse and being a Saturday it would be fine to pick it up on Monday. We explained our situation and to my disbelief they said they would arrange for someone to be there at a time that suited us all. When we arrived we were treated exceptionally well, and felt like nothing was too much. Fantastic company to deal with. You will not find better.

Excellent Customer Service
Excellent Customer Service! They matched an on-line price including free delivery and a charge for removal & unpacking. They loaned me a chest freezer, FOC, while waiting for the new freezer as the old one had ‘died’! They collected the chest freezer when I had refilled the new, all at no extra cost. Very helpful and friendly staff from every department and would highly recommend Herne Bay Domestics. I always prefer to support local businesses, delivery may take a little longer but if there’s a problem the local business is immediately on hand.

Very good service
I ordered the Freezer on Monday and it was delivered FREE on Thursday. I was messaged on Wednesday to tell me the time it was going to come, 2 guys turned up in the time frame specified, very helpful and friendly took the old one away for £20.00.
The price matched all the other websites, and the removal was the only extra to pay unlike other company's who had other add ons which took the price up quite a bit.
I will definitely use again and tell other people.

Excellant Sevice
Excellant service from start to delivery. Mat was extremly helpful, he advised me that the fridge / freezer I was making enquiries about was uneconomical to repair as it was 10years old. He took the bother to find me an equivalent model, ordered and delivery was arranged for the following day. What service!! with a smile no doubt. I will definitly use Herne Bay Domestics again. Brilliant!!!

Easy to order on-line. Opted for fitting, taking the old dryer away and text message giving me a delivery slot. Able to pick a delivery day so went for the earliest. All went perfectly and the two man delivery team were very polite and efficient.

I was sent a confirmatory text in advance of the appointment, and Joe called me on the day to give an ETA.
He was knowledgeable, courteous and incredibly quick at diagnosing and fixing the fault on our oven.
He then ran the oven for 20 minutes and waited to check that all was running smoothly.
I would certainly use Herne Bay Domestics again - for repairs AND purchases
