I have a full size brass bed, dresser, tall metal rack, rolling desk chair, a desk, living room recliner, one end table, about 16 banana boxes and when we arrived 5 hours later, they were my saviors.

I used them quite a few times and would never do so again. My movers came on the day we got so much snow that my gated community would not let them in on the bad roads. They charged me $165 for coming out. Like it was my fault they weren’t allowed in. It was moronic of them to even show up with all that snow. When they did come back, they broke many invaluable items that were my mom’s before she passed. A solid wood dining table that he attempted to fix with packing tape and a cabinet covered with Mother of Pearl that they lost quite a few pieces to. When I complained to Hire a Helper they gave me a whopping $108. for the damage, laughable! Use at your own risk, you just don’t know until it happens to you!

The men from Matt’s movers worked very hard and moved the things I had ready to move. However they were late because of being sent to the wrong city. In spite of this they were done in time to leave for their next job.

I am an old man on fixed income and had a hard time justifying the $240/hr price tag, so I am still struggling to finish the move by myself. I might add that I’ve been very busy and giving your company praise wasn’t on the forefront of my things to do. I’d appreciate it if you would stop asking, I’m too busy !

I like the fact they show up early ready to work. I think they took to long to load the truck which caused me to have to pay $495 extra. Didn't get military discount of 10%

The website made it simple to schedule the day and time for the job. A list of teams was provided according to cost, location and availability. I selected a team and made arrangements based on the estimated work to be done. The team was experienced, hard-working and fast, so everything went to plan.

The two very kind young gentleman had to deal with me being behind schedule and the house not being clean. They were champs. I was lucky to have these two handle my things. I’m very thankful.

Having help loading and unloading the trailer was a big asset in this recent move. HireAHelper estimate the size of crew and the time they were on site accurately. That helped us to stay within our moving budget.

When the trailer arrived earlier than expected the crew unloading was able to arrive earlier as well with no change in cost.
