Following extensive renovation to out home we were looking to replace our alarm system and make an addition of CCTV. I'm not generally one for paying attention to FB advertisements, but Homecctv kept cropping up and the information they shared and reviews led me to contact them to discuss our needs. Communication was very efficient and within a few days we were visited by Mike, the surveyor, who spent a couple of hours one evening talking through our needs.
He had an extensive knowledge of both the CCTV and alarm equipment, which he had with him on his visit, so he was able to give us a full demonstration. The equipment is extremely high quality and we were impressed with the standard of quality of the CCTV footage (both day and night).
There was absolutely no pressure or sales waffle to try and get us to commit to anything that evening, but we were given a reasonable quote for both systems which wasn't as expensive as I expected, so we decided to pay the deposit that evening and made arrangements for installation a couple of weeks later. We were given a modest discount for buying both systems together and were also only charged for 3 of the 4 cameras we decided to have installed. In addition to the standard package, we also added additional door sensors, a smoke/carbon monoxide detector and upgraded one of the PIR sensors to include a camera which would photograph any potential intruder.

Joel, the installer, arrived promptly this morning to install first the CCTV, and then the alarm. The whole installation process took about 4 hours and he worked non stop with no mess created at all. After installation he took the time to first, explain how to use the main CCTV control box, which is connected to the TV in the lounge. We didn't have a spare HDMI slot in the TV, so he provided us with a top of the range HDMI splitter to make viewing on the TV easier. Once he had demonstrated the control box, he then helped to install the apps on our smart devices, one for each system. The CCTV app is excellent and easy to negotiate, and sends an instant notification of any movement at the address as well as providing live feed and the ability to review stored footage which highlights when movement is detected so you don't have to sit searching through hours of footage if something has happened. You can also download the footage from the app to your phone, or on the control box to a memory stick via USB slot - handy if footage is needed by the police.
The app for the alarm also offers notifications of movement and alarm activation instantly. The alarm can be set by a control fob supplied or via the app - one of the things we also liked was the additional benefit of a panic alarm which can be used on the app anywhere away from home - so if the kids are out and activate the panic button we can see instantly on google maps where they are.

I cant recommend Homecctv enough, the whole process from first contact to installation has been very efficient. We are very happy with the service we have received and the quality of both systems is second to none.

Thank you, this gives us added peace of mind that our home is secure and the cameras a deterrent for any potential intruder.

CCTV - 4 cameras, two front and rear
Alarm - two PIR sensors, (one with camera), 3 door sensors (which will sound alarm if door opened or someone is trying to bang through them), carbon monoxide/smoke sensor, movable internal alarm siren, external siren, 2 control fobs.

My knowledge of the cost of cctv is quite limited and contacted homecctv ltd as a novice in this field.
Kevin who visited me was an elegant, smartly dressed chap. I had a budget on mind and to my shock I was way off the mark to what I wanted to pay.
I just wish he could have shown me the product, give me information on what you do and really sell it me.
I know you base your reputation on here and it looks well with the 5 star reviews and to be honest I didn’t even look at the reviews before the visit. Business can go through rocky times so I do give the benefit of the doubt and not base everything on reviews.

Unfortunately I’m still at the same stage, looking for the right salesman to give me a run down on the product.
I’m hard working, very careful with the money I earn and spend but show me the product, make an effort giving me the information and we might have got somewhere.
To others on hear reading this, you will need over a £1000 to get started and probably a lot more to get a decent package

This is just an honest review of my experience and it’s a neutral review from myself. I’m sure the products you sell are brilliant and you are successful in what you do but I will keep looking, speak to different salesmen, and be 100 percent sure before I make a purchase.

This is the 2nd property we've used Home CCTV for. This time 4 cameras and their alarm system. The initial visit to survey our property and select the systems to meet our needs was great. We were given all the information and recommendations and allowed to decide for ourselves what we wanted. A date for installation was booked in at the first visit too. The surveyor was thorough and took notes and make a video for the installer so there were no errors or queries on installation day. As a previous customer we knew what to expect and on installation day, again it was faultless. Phone ahead to ask directions intonour new build development which isn't yet on Google maps, arrived on time and completed a fantastic job on camera installation and also alarm. We would not hesitate recommending this company, they do what they say on the tin!

After sales is 5* we had a couple of queries which were answered and resolved immediately. - Thanks Home CCTV & your team!

Amazing company. Had my cameras installed around a year ago. No problems whatsoever. I was having trouble with a group of lads. Had other cameras previously and despite cameras capturing the lads in action damaging my property the quality wasn’t good enough for the police to take action. Fast forward to HOME CCTV LTD installation and different story. Action taken and no further issues. The quality is amazing, even the police officers reviewing the footage commented on how clear the images were. Im looking at having an extra camera added at some point. Fully respectful of property and clean, tidy job completed.
I can now leave my home without the worry. The cameras also use an app which is fully explained to you and you can choose to have notifications pushed through to you.

Had a 3 camera system fitted by Home CCTV 3yrs ago from the first initial enquiry to the actual fitting we found them to be polite and very knowledgeable. The system we chose is simple to use and easy to navigate wether that's on our tv or via the mobile phone app.
We recently had some building work done and had to reboot the system as the builders had to disconnect the system not been technically minded a quick call to there technical helpline where we spoke to a very polite and helpful assistant soon had our system up and running again.
I would not hesitate to recommend Home CCTV to anyone who were looking for a home security system

I'd give this company 10 stars if I could. No pushy sales, you get exactly what you want. (I purchased 4 replacement camera's and had a extra 1 fitted in my shed). Everything is explained upfront, no hidden extras, the price they quote is the price you pay. Communication is excellent throughout the process, they turn up on time and crack on with the job. Couldn't leave this review without hi-lighting their customer service/after care service as being nothing less than amazing. (Something I find very rare these days) this company really does offer you the full package. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 😁😁😁

Very disappointed originally we asked for 3 camera with discount £1200 but decided we only wanted one. Got no discount paid top wack £740 for a one bog standard camera. They took out our Facebook review. won’t use or recommend them they sell the sales pitch perfectly but it’s not as it seems I’m afraid. Look closely at the google reviews there are more negative posts. They were miffed because we changed our minds from 2 then 3 to having only one camera so they charged us top price for the one with no discounts nothing and finally yes we did have a payment plan on the 3 but your assistant or rep rang us asking for the remaining balance paying after only a few days after installation on the one camera fact

These guys have never let me down I’ve recently moved and it was no trouble at all for them to fit me in, the guy today 30/11/24 whose name is Joel couldn’t have been more helpful & polite he kept me informed of arrival time when he arrived asked me were to put camara’s also best place for cables to go very neat job done plus he also hooverd his mess up. So anybody thinking of having camera’s installed these guys are very professional, helpful from on site survey to installation.

I’ve had cameras installed for a while now. I can honestly say the after service is brilliant.
I have used what’s app when I’ve had a couple of small issues, and within seconds I have a person ( Jack ) literally sending me videos or messages that has completely sorted it out.
I wish every company had customer service like this. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

jack and his team have always given me the best professional help .I had a new mobile and i had also unplugged something ! ( i am not the best tech person ! )I got in touch with Jack and the next day a lovely guy called Trev turned up sorted mobile and wires and he helped me find footage of a thief stealing a plant pot from my garden !!! Well done guys i highly recommend this company
