The service was fine...however.....
The service was fine. Our access to the apartment required that I call H from H as the entrance / door intercom was intermittently not working and we were not met at the door at the appointed time. The apartment was in good order but could have used a fan or 2 as it was warm on the top floor. The main issue was the "Vampire inhabited / Hookah lounge" apartment on Highstreet, across the inner courtyard from our place that started up at Midnight and partied - windows open - with loud hip hop music until 6AM every night of our 8 night stay. Not good! An unexpected surprise for this high-end neighborhood and cannot recommend longer that 2 or 3 days stay at this apartment as a result.

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay, we appreciate your feedback and are also disappointed that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We regret to hear that you had trouble checking-in to the property - our representative was inside the property still setting up for your arrival. We have also checked the intercom and have been told it’s in good working order. However, we will keep a close check on this as we know that these intercoms can be affected by the weather.
We are very pleased to know that the apartment was in good order, but it is such a shame that you did not ask us to provide you with fans. In the summer months we make sure that we have plenty of fans available for our customers who request them – if you had given us a call we would have made sure to deliver to the property as many fans as you’d like.
It’s always disappointing to hear of loud partying disrupting guest’s quiet enjoyment. I’m sure you can appreciate how these things are unavoidable, particularly in London during the summer months. The property in question is not a Home from Home property – if it had been, we would have gone out of our way to stop such behaviour and ensure that your stay remained undisturbed. We are quite surprised that the neighbours did not complain to the police or council as this would have been the only way to cease such activities; we have no authority in such instances.
Here at Home from Home, we pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service and have done so for over 30 years. It is a shame you did not contact us and explain your grievances as we would have been happy to advise you on all of your concerns. If you decide to book through Home from Home again, which we hope you do, please remember that we will gladly help you with any issues. We are also happy to consider a small discount on a future stay if you would like to rebook with your previous sales agent.

Great vacation ln London
We spent a week recently in London and found an excellent apartment with HFH. Very convenient and close to many places and public transports
The reservation went smoothly and people of HFH were easy to contact and very helpful to facilitate the transaction
We made transport arrangements also with them and so it was very simple to take possession of the flat.
We strongly recommend HFH if you plan a visit in London

Didn't live up to expectations
While this property sounded good online and we liked the arty look with lots of paintings and drawings hung 'salon style' on the walls, in reality it felt unwelcoming and we spent very little time there.
The interior was in the 'English Country House style'. For us this was far too cluttered although we appreciate others will have different tastes. The property was stuffed to the rafters with the owner's personal belongings - clothes hanging in the cupboards, crutches and walking sticks stacked in the corners. Every surface was covered with objects and photos. The thing which made us feel most unwelcome though, were the post it notes liberally scattered throughout the house instructing us 'Do to touch this', 'Do not open this cupboard', 'Do not use these glasses - irreplaceable!'. If the items are so precious, when you are letting a house out, shouldn't they be put into storage?
The kitchen table was covered with a cheap plastic table cloth which had a sellotape repair to a rip. The 'welcome pack' was individual UHT milk cartons and small sachets of instant coffee. The fridge contained a selection of half used bottles and jars. The Nepresso machine (for which we had brought our own pods) was broken.
There was a problem with the electrics when we first arrived and we have to say the management company responded very swiftly to try and sort it out. It meant that there was no light over the dining table and at one end of the kitchen, but it didn't really matter to us as we were out most of the time.
The location is slightly out-of-the way and there were no corner shops nearby (The local tesco by the station was shut when I went in search of milk on a Sunday) and there was nowhere nearby to get a coffee.
Apologies for sounding negative, but we have stayed in much nicer, more welcoming, and accessible properties for a lot less than we paid for this one.

Working with Home from Home was a very…
Working with Home from Home was a very pleasant experience. Even with an eight hour time zone difference, my emails were answered when received. The flat I leased was beautiful and clean, house rules and instructions on how to use appliances were clear and available. I also used their preferred taxi company for pickup in Southhampton and delivery to Heathrow at the end of my trip. Both of my drivers were extremely friendly and helpful. This also made the transfer of keys extremely easy.
I have already recommended that my friends use HFH for their next trips to London. I will definitely use them on my next stay.

Five Visits Five Stars
We have used Home from Home for our last five London rentals. Their service has been superb each time. Whenever we had a question or concern HFH responded promptly and put us at ease. On the rare occasion we found a shortcoming in an apartment, HFH either solved the issue or addressed it with the owners.
We will continue to use HFH whenever we visit London.

Morgans Walk, Battersea
My family and I spent a week at this property which is in a lovely quiet secure area, right on the Thames with fantastic views across to Chelsea. The decor is a little dated and there is a little repair and maintenance needed on one of the kitchen drawers, however the property had all the services we required and was comfortable to stay in. The boiler was intermittent causing a problem with hot water however a call to the emergency line was immediately answered by Lia (over the Easter Break) and the problem was sorted. A bus stop is closely located and a 20 minute walk to the Kings Road. Battersea Park a 6 minute walk along the Thames River Path. We had arranged to be met at the property on arrival and text the Property Manager ahead of our arrival time to confirm we were making our way there. As we were running early, we expected to wait until the agreed time and were surprised and delighted to be met when we arrived. My entire experience with the various members of the Home from Home team during the booking process (online from NZ) and stay was excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending this company. Thank you to Caitlin, Lia & Carlos for your service.

Both our recent family stays at HFH properties were excellent. The apartments were very well equipped, comfortable and clean. The locations were exceptional. When minor issues arose, Lia responded immediately and addressed them at once. We’d stay again!!!

Not quite ready
We must have been the first people to stay in this flat. It was quite spartan, no pictures on the walls, no rugs on the floors. The 4 lamps were new but not assembled correctly. No hairdryer, but it was delivered a couple hours after we called. There were no shelves in the bedroom closet, but plenty in the living room?
The location was great and it worked out fine, it just needed some attention to mak it feel like a “home from home”,

Christmas 2018 Memories of a Lifetime for Family of 5
My family and I spent our 2018 Christmas holidays here (two weeks) and loved our Spear Mews home, how well appointed it was, the tucked away location in a special neighborhood. And most certainly, the attention to detail by Home from Home. As previously arranged through them, our driver met our family of five at the airport. The property manager was on site at the home to greet us and provide a walk-thru, the temperature of the home had been comfortably warmed before our arrival (as requested). Every consideration had been made by the homeowner to fully accommodate guests as they arrived from near or far for their vacation stay.
