I had purchased a 30m Hozelock supersize which had failed after 14 months,I contacted Hozelock customer support and spoke to Cameron who was very helpful and took me through the replacement process.this was very easy and Cameron later contacted me to confirm replacement had been arranged,

Had to phone through an order due to technical problems with Hozelock's payment system but a very helpful Cameron sorted out what was needed and the order was successfully delivered promptly.

Leena at customer services replaced a leaking tuffhose even though we had misplaced the original Wickes receipt purchased just over a year ago.

What a fantastic and professional experience I’m Hozelock through and through. And so glad now as my problem was sorted promptly and professionally with a brand new product in the post , buy cheap buy twice . Guy put your faith in Hozelock they do what they say and the warranty has been worth it .

I purchased a Hozelock Auto Reel because I believed I was buying a premium product from a company with a reputation for quality and durability. Unfortunately, my experience has left me questioning whether that reputation is deserved.

After around three years of normal domestic use, the structural plastic housing cracked around the pivot point. The hose itself and the reel mechanism remain in excellent working condition, but because the housing has failed, the entire unit is now unusable.

The most disappointing part isn’t that the product failed outside its guarantee period. Products can fail. The real issue is that Hozelock doesn’t manufacture or supply the outer housing as a replacement part. A single broken plastic component means an otherwise perfectly functional product has to be thrown away. I even offered to buy the replacement housing or pay for a repair, but was told neither was possible.

The customer service process began on 2 August and involved several exchanges over a number of days, only to repeatedly return to the same position. While my concerns about repairability, sustainability and unnecessary waste were acknowledged, there was no willingness to offer any practical solution or goodwill gesture.

For a company that promotes quality and longevity, this is extremely disappointing. Premium products should be designed to be repairable, particularly when only one structural component has failed. Instead, customers are expected to dispose of an expensive product because a plastic casing isn’t available as a spare.

The irony is that the hose , the part that endures years of use and exposure to the elements, remains in excellent condition. It is the non-serviceable plastic housing that has failed, and that alone consigns the entire product to waste.

I expected better from a premium British brand. Hozelock had an opportunity to stand behind its product or demonstrate a commitment to repairability, but instead chose to rely solely on its warranty policy. That is disappointing, environmentally wasteful and not the level of after-sales support I expected.

I won’t be purchasing another Hozelock product, and I hope the company seriously reviews both the durability of this component and the availability of replacement structural parts in future.

I contacted Hozelock to ask about a part for an old hose reel. I really didn't expect the part to still be available for what I thought was an obsolete piece of equipment. I was very pleased when Cameron came back to me with details of the part and a link where it could be ordered. Excellent service, thank you Cameron.

Installed hozelock auto retract hose.

Guess what.....
It doesn't auto retract.
Pulling out the hose from the reel is slow and it keeps sticking. The lock/unlock dial never feels properly engaged and when it retracts after use the reel stops winding with about 3 metres of hose still hanging out and no amount of coaxing, teasing or pushing will make it go in.

I should have spent less on Screwfix own branded one which would doubtless have worked perfectly

Shoulder strap came unattached on 1st use & tank felt to ground & base broke. Was my fault as 1 side must have been incorrectly threaded thru.
A replacement part was quickly sent out & everything ok now.
Was pleased I emailed customer service & pleased with the response from Chloe.

I contacted Hozelock about some issues with a hose, merely seeking recommendations for suitable replacements. My query was handled by Cameron, and without prompting, I was soon asked about product details and age, and before I knew it, Cameron had organised a warranty replacement to be sent out to me without charge.

It's not just that this saved me some money, but to experience such positive and proactive customer service, the way it used to be, was a very pleasant surprise. Great example to others.

The trigger on my Hozelock spray gun pro, broke, while it was under guarantee. I reported it to customer service who asked for a photo, which I provided. I received a new unit in the post, without any quibble.

My hosepipe would not retract.
I received advice from the team at Hozelock and followed their advice.
However, my hose still did not retract. When I contacted the team at Hozelock again, I was told that a replacement would be sent out. I was delighted to receive a replacement Hozelock hose and reel in the post. Quick and efficient service.

I had to return a faulty hose under guarantee. I had registered the product under the guarantee scheme but no longer had the original receipt to accompany it. However, I was able to send a video showing the leaking hose in action and was then contacted by Customer Service who immediately arranged to have a replacement hose sent out to me. This arrived very promptly. I would particularly like to thank Cameron in the Customer Service team for the excellent service received.

I bought two Superhoze 30m expanding hoses following an operation last year. The one good thing I can say about them is that they are light. One hose sprung leaks in several places 6 weeks after purchase. The second burst on second use this year. I contacted Hozelock customer services who requested copies of the receipts and photographs. They, unlike their rubbish product, were very efficient and within days the replacements were on their way. The hoses are only suitable for a ornamental garden with a fine cut lawn and outside tap... I wouldn't trust it not to leak indoors.
