This company should be more transparent about where goods are coming from.
One pair of slippers - direct from China.
I can't comment on the quality yet .... it's only been a full week since I ordered them but I don't hold out too much hope for anything of decent quality.
My fault in so many ways .... I should have read the vast amount of negative reviews about Humtto.
Sure the slippers will end up in the bin when they eventually arrive.
Will report further when they finally get here.
In the meantime - buyer beware.

Slippers have still not arrive over a week for ordering with no indication when, if ever, they are likely to get here. If the description and information from the company had been open and honest about the fact that they are simply a trading house peddling sub standard Chinese goods I would not have done business with them. POTENTIAL BUYERS BEWARE, THIS COMPANY IS MISLEADING BY OMMISION DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I ordered slippers for someone with balance problems who ended up going over on thier foot so they became more of a risk than a preventative measure.

I have e mailed twice since Christmas and have only received a standard response. No one has been in contact.

Shocking service and would not recommend.

What an appalling company. I was told on the website that is could return the item within 30 days. No luck, they want me to keep and gift to somebody else. An absolute waste of time do not touch this company I am reporting them to trading standards. Where are our consumer rights

Interesting that Humtto doesn't have any link to TrustPilot on their website. Now I know why! Had a very bad and probably illegal buying experience recently.

I had ordered a pair of winter books from their website with its many descriptions of 'easy return' and so on. They were hopelessly too narrow despite being advertised as 'wide fit'. However when I attempted to return I was first offered anything else from their website 'for only £12'. Then when I challenged that I was told that it would be 'too expensive' to return the shoes - which as it turns out came direct from China - and that I would have to pay the cost. Which is illegal.

In the end I persisted and got a partial return. I got to keep the boots because clearly their logistics could not actually cope with a return but of course I can't wear them and they will go to a charity shop. Despite the partial refund I was at least £30 out of pocket on this deal.

The website is a SCAM. It looks great and they make all kinds of promises and represent the company completely as a UK company. That's a lie.

Don't buy from them!

I wish I had read reviews before ordering from this company. They make it impossible to return & refund your money. It clearly says that the purchaser has 30 days to return their products when you order, this is NOT the case. They will not send you return details , they send you an offer to keep your order and pay £9.99 to be sent another pair. If you do not accept this they then offer you £7 and give you a return addess in China !

Don't be fooled by their apparent UK website guise. It's cheap and nasty goods from China.
Terrible quality and wrong sizes.
They purport to be based in Staffordshire yet tracking shows items from China.
They state 30 day no quibble returns but then refuse returns, dragging it out asking for photos of why you are not satisfied.
They don't supply any paperwork if you ever eventually get the item you ordered, then say if you return it to the Staffordshire address you will not get refunded.
Look carefully at their feedback on the website, clearly AI generated.
Don't even go there, another scam. They keep dragging it out until you run out of time to return. They demanded I return my purchase to an address in China at my expense. They would then inspect the item for damage and decide on a refund, this can take up to a month.
If you do return there is nothing to protect you from allegations of insufficient packaging/damage to refuse a refund.
Alternatively they offer you a measly partial refund of roughly 25% to go away.

Not a Small UK based company with hassle free returns as described on their website.
Product ships from china but company returns are to the United States, only found this out after multiple emails trying to return the items for a full refund.
First They will try to offer you a partial refund and keep the shoes or you can choose another pair of shoes and pay postage.
Not acceptable as I just wanted to return shoes that didn’t fit and get my money back. Wouldn’t have purchased if I knew they were not a UK company as stated and it was international returns.
They mislead and are falsely advertising in their terms and conditions. Wish I had seen those reviews before purchasing as the website reviews are obviously positive.

Absolute rubbish! £50 for a pair of leather dealer boots that aren't even worth £3. Completely crap.
They are based in China not the UK despite claims.
Not eco, not ergonomic, not all the things they claim. Rubbish. You couldn't wear them and they absolutely stink of VOCs such a strong chemical smell. I had to chuck them outside.

My shoes were too tight ,they offered me discount on another pair and I could keep them, I explained I didn't want anymore unseen. They then said that I could return them but it had to be to China at my own great expense, I challenged them about the legality so they offered my an £8 refund which I accepted to avoid being further out of pocket.They are a terrible company who sellers like Amazon should stop endorsing by selling their products

Am awaiting for items and I must say am shocked to read the reviews £60 for slippers as ive very bad feet and I needed these for support selling fake items at that price is shocking I’ll be contacting trade standards I hate companies that do all this shame on use

This is not a UK company. The return address that you have to contact them for is Wuhan, CHINA. They will say that the UK warehouse is undergoing renovation so you must return to the Chinese warehouse.
You will be asked to pay the shipping charge or they will offer to refund this amount and you can keep the shoes. Impossible to deal with and ended up with charge back action through the bank. It is a scam.

Shoes are poor quality, shipped from China. I wish i had looked at reviews first 😮‍💨 sadly i can't give less than one star.
Currently stuck on email trail, back and forth trying to arrange to return 3 x pairs as i ordered different sizes thinking it would be straightforward. They are all going back.
They are delaying things by leaving it a day before replying each time, then replying with an automated question that you've already answered...
I'm wondering if the delay is to prevent you from returning items within the allowed 30 days.
You have to wait for them to authorise the return and give you the address.
If its not a UK address as stated i will lose my S**T
ALSO THE MOBILE NUMBER DOES NOT WORK.
If i get a positive resolution i will happily delete/amend this review..
Update 17/12 after sub-par responses from 'Leo', none of which include return and refund as per my rights, i've raised the issue with my bank who have thankfully refunded me the full amount.
I also still have 3 pairs of nasty cheap trainers if anyone wants them.

This humtto.co.uk is not at all a distributor or agent of HUMTTO. It merely registered this domain name and the products it sells have no relation to the HUMTTO brand at all. None of the products are from HUMTTO.
The genuine HUMTTO products can fully match the products of other similar brands. Please don't be deceived.

If you are reading this - I hope you haven’t placed an order yet.
Do not order anything from this scam website.
I am kicking myself that I didn’t read the reviews here first (as I usually do).
They are a Chinese company masquerading as a British one.
Very convincing at first. But upon trying to return two pairs of shoes which arrived too late - I have been met with excuses exactly like other’s experiences. I have reported this website and company to Trading Standards and the National Cyber Security Centre.

Below is a snippet from the latest correspondence.

‘Our UK warehouse was undergoing large-scale renovations at the time of your purchase, so your package was shipped from our warehouse in China, which has a more abundant stock. For this reason, we kindly ask you to return the package to China warehouse.
Considering that returning the products would consume a great deal of your time, energy, and shipping costs, we are reluctant to have you bear these burdens. Moreover, these two pairs of boots are quite heavy, and shipping them back to our Asian warehouse could cost no less than £50, not including customs clearance fees’.

Where to begin! Bought shoes that were not fit for purpose. Cheap materials and nothing like picture or description.
Contacted for a refund, told that I would have to supply pictures of Shoes, shoe bottoms, packaging and postage labels. Then after all that they ignored all other emails asking for return address.
Point to note.... address and phone number on website are false and neither exist.
So now, because of paying through PayPal, which I strongly advise, I raised a case.
The reply from Humtto was instant, they requested that the shoes be returned to CHINA! at my expense and that because this would be costly that it was advised I kept cheap, crappy shoes and accept £12 for the £36 spent. I refused and pursued case through PayPal.
I Was able to prove that shoes were never posted from CHINA. As the photos requested showing packaging demonstrated that there was never any international shipping labels attached and as such these shoes had never passed through customs. So why should I pay to return them there?? After many back and forth emails proving my point over and over again and refusing a further offer of £20 to keep crappy shoes. I raised the case to have PayPal adjudicate the evidence provided and make a decision. It went in our favour and a full refund was given. I proved that this company acted fraudulently, made false claims, and used intimidating practices to prevent us pursuing a refund.
Avoid! But if you have bought shoes then please pursue getting a refund however awkward it can feel. You will win as they are not very clever when confronted with the facts and evidence of their fraudulent activity.

AVOID... Shoes are not what they profess to be, then when you try and return they basically tell you it will cost more to return them than you paid, make out the uk warehouse is under refurbishment. This is a dodgy company that hat will say keep the shoes and I'll send £11 for a £50 pair of shoes that are not fit for purpose

I bought a pair of shoes in the size I always buy, they were far too small and cheap looking so I asked for a refund. They kept sending me offers which I didn’t want they even suggested I could give them as a gift
To someone.
eventually they said I could return them to china but it would be very expensive.
The shoes cost £24.98. Incl postage.
The offered me refund of £10 , I had no choice but to accept the refund.
I wish I had read the reviews of this crap company
I came off better than a lot of people after reading the reviews.

SCAM COMPANY SELLING CHEAP CHINESE PRODUCTS

Tried to cancel my order as soon as I realised the company was not genuine. I had an email from Leo but they have still sent the order.

I normally read reviews before ordering from businesses I’ve not heard of, very frustrated that I didn’t this time. I will be disputing this with my credit card company.

Also, the UK business address doesn’t exist. It’s a residential area and 69 Lloyd Street, Cannock doesn’t exist!!!!
