Shocker of a company!
If it’s not clear what the arrangement is here - this is what I found when buying items from Hurley.com.
Certain brands who do not have their own E-commerce platform use ESW for their online sales and ‘customer service’. This means:
The two may not know what the other is doing when it comes to customer issues, pricing etc;
Delivery timescales and courier experiences may not be what you expect from a seemingly good brand - they may even pack and deliver items in poor condition;
The customer service is provided by ESW and not the brand itself - and it’s a real mess as nobody can make decisions or seems to know what they are doing;
The level of care and ownership for any issues is pretty much absent;
If mistakes are made, even getting an apology is hard to come by;
You’ll hear that they’ve ‘escalated matters to the retailer’ repeatedly but with absolutely no ownership or resolution (and don’t expect to hear from the retailer);
Suggested resolutions for problems won’t be seen through;
Different members of the team seem to have different levels of autonomy, decision making and ability to solve problems - although this isn’t intentional by the looks of things - it’s just inconsistency;
Legal responsibility for ensuring items are accurately described will be repeatedly ignored;
Excuses will be made.
This is a company to avoid - if you need the item, look for it elsewhere so you don’t end up having to be in contact with this shambles of a company. ESW makes Amazon look like the good guys.
It would be great to see somebody senior in the organisation take some ownership to address these issues, however, I’ll await the robotic template reply on here instead…

Ich hatte eine limitierte Mütze Hurley Nazare bestellt und auch bezahlt. Geliefert wurde mir eine billige Beanie mit Aufnäher.
Nach Kontakt mit dem Kundenservice hat man mir gesagt sie können mir kein richtigen Austausch zusenden und für die Rücksendung bis zur Niederlande müsste ich selbst aufkommen. Auf keinen Fall bestelle ich nochmal bei Hurley!!!
Unbedingt vermeiden
Würde unbedingt vermeiden hier zu bestellen, da die Retouren auf eigene Kosten getragen und in die Niederlande zum Auslandstarif verschickt werden müssen. Der Kundensupport hat verhältnismässig lange gerbraucht um zu antworten und die Antwort war kryptisch und wenig hilfreich.

I wanted swimmer that didn't feel or look like swimmers... I ordered the H2O-Dri Explore Rincon Hurley Mens Short Sleeve Rash Vest Barely Bone and matching shorts... high quality nice feeling material with great seams and good breathability! Got express shipping and came in two days time, fast perfect delivery! My only complaint is that the shirt only comes in one pattern... if they had created the shirt in more patterns I would definitely have brought plenty more of them! If someone from the company is reading this, you guys need to add more patterns for that shirt please!!!!
Stole nearly $75 off my card
I woke up this morning to 4 individual charges of $18.36 on my card. That’s $73.44 total. I’ve never shopped with you before. I am trying to get a hold of you via phone and email and no response. I don’t care that it’s Sunday. I want my money back. Thanks to you I have $26 to my name and have to wait on a new card because you took nearly $75 from me! I will be reporting you to the better business bureau!
Avoid Hurley at all costs
Very bad company, do not use - they completely screwed me over did not attempt to apologise or resolve the situation. I've lost lots of money, would avoid Hurley at all costs.
Terrible customer service
The service off their e-commerce website is terrible. I have been waiting a month for my order to arrive. Anyones guess if and when it will arrive. In the meantime the website greatly discounted some of the items I purchased and won’t credit me for the difference. Remember, I haven’t even received the product yet! Interesting they don’t have Google review available.
Hurley - Stalling at the starting line.
Hurley as a company has become complete trash. I have always liked their products and quality so this review is specifically about their customer support team and poor service execution when shopping directly from Hurley.com. To begin, their shipping times (from order date to order shipped) have increased substantially over the past year. It is understandable that the pandemic was to blame for a long time, but they continue to blame their absurdly long times on COVID 19 and reasons such as "warehouse relocation" (not mentioned prior to purchasing). I do realize they are based out of California so COVID 19 interruptions/delays differ based on location, but I have ordered many, many products from other California-based companies recently and can confirm they aren't experiencing these issues. Hurley also uses FedEx which is literally rated as one of the worst shipping providers. As far as their customer support representatives go, I have interacted with about 4 or 5 and it's fair to say they do not understand the meaning of customer service etiquette. They always seem to have attitudes and give off the impression as if you are placing a burden on their time. They seem careless in their minimal efforts to provide any assistance at all. Some lack basic communication skills such as ending a conversation with a "goodbye". For example, my latest representative was less than pleasant when telling me I needed to wait one more day to receive a refund for something that is clearly lost (my order was placed over one month ago and shipped over 2 weeks ago). After saying "thank you, I'll call back tomorrow", he just hung up. Now, I do understand there are protocols that must be followed and some of the issues fall on Fedex. Waiting another day for an intervention or refund is not a problem for me (I have already been waiting over 1 month, so what's one more day), but a little human decency and practical application of good manners in the way that message is delivered can completely change the customer experience. Unfortunately, this does not seem to be an isolated experience as a simple Google search regarding Hurley reviews can confirm. My advice to anyone looking to purchase Hurley products, would be to avoid direct purchases through the company. Utilize Brick and Mortar stores or online companies that offer Hurley products. Just be sure to buy from companies that actually seem to care about their customers. As for me, I will no longer be purchasing from Hurley.com.

Got shorts for my birthday. They had been ordered weeks before.
Tried them on when I returned from a trip.
Didn't fit.
32 days after ordering: no returns accepted.

Never received my item
Never received my item that i purchased.
Never got a confirmation e-mail which made me raise an eyebrow but instead got text messages from Fedex saying it had been delivered when it hadn't. I have cctv on my house so i know if the driver came or not and no delivery attempt was made. These guys are a scam. Dont waste your time with these low lives. They'll eventually dig their own grave.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS DIRECT ONLINE! These guys offer ‘insurance’ on products they sell for an extra fee. Loss is already built into their pricing and they then try to get more. It’s per item not per order so if you do buy it and not purposely on all items, whatever you don’t get, you don’t get and they don’t care. THEY then use FedEx to ship and you pay for that as well. Again, if you don’t get your merchandise and you have not purchased their insurance and you don’t have their ‘insurance’, they tell you to call and fight it out with FedEx on your own. Good luck with that!

Very poor customer service - received a new Hurley jacket with a used face mask in its pocket, pretty disgusting discovery and service when I was forced to pay the return postage for the jacket!! I would avoid Hurley and eshopworld over this one
Worst online experience ever
Purchased an expensive wetsuit as a gift. Used the delivery guide & added a couple of days for any challenges. What a nightmare! The product was untraceable for 5 days - just disappeared & then I kept getting their “watch the tracking” cut & paste email. There was NO tracking to watch. So told them I no longer wanted the item after 2 weeks as they also did not know where it was. Asked for a refund…. Got told I had to wait for it to turn up & then return it & then they would give me a refund - less shipping. What? Why do I have to wait for a refund on a product that disappeared and then pay for shipping. This is Your logistics problem Hurley - not mine. As the product disappeared I went to an alternative brand to purchase (which turned up in 3 days fully traceable) e-shopping on Hurley - Do not bother! They have managed to completely destroy a loyal customer. I will NEVER buy from them again. Customer service is absolutely awful.

Bought a sweatshirt as a gift which never arrived. Used tracking service which showed it took nearly 4 weeks to get to the UK after which Yodel received it.
I contacted Yodel several times who could not locate the parcel then was updated to sent back to sender.
It was confirmed as received by Hurley who ignored my many emails requesting either the parcel to be sent again or issue a refund.
NOTHING!!
Absolutely atrocious, can’t believe they are a legitimate company.
If you want to by Hurley stick to reputable retailers instead.
