V disappointed with earrings

I bought a pair of stud earrings online. They are ludicrously small. The website photo gives no indication of size. I have emailed to ask how I may return them and get back my payment, but have had no reply or acknowledgment of my request.

Misleading advertising

I ordered a necklace and earring set with a special design card that was the main reason for purchasing as it made the jewellery look more special.
It arrived without the card. When I contacted them to say the presentation card was my main reason for buying this as a gift they said it was out of stock with no offer to resolve. It is still being advertised for sale with the design card with no transparency that this isn't what you get.

Received the wrong colour on a…

Received the wrong colour on a personalised item , emailed twice and no response - spoke on the phone to try and get the product sent asap , in time for the birthday but they will not send replacement £8 product without seeing a photo so now it will not arrive in time. Very disappointed.

Disappointed to say the least

Disappointed to say the least! Earrings bought are so tiny you can’t see what they are without a magnifying glass, very deceiving photos, awful will not recommend buying from here, these weee a 60th gift for a work colleague a waste of money as I won’t wear them and won’t get money back due to ‘hygiene’ reasons apparently. Better jewellery places are available to buy from. I emailed them so we’ll wait to see what reply I get!

Shocking company to deal with

Unfortunately I cannot leave zero or negative stars. My daughter spent her birthday money on earrings. A few months later they broke. After initially being hopeful of positive customer service after being told to send the earrings back which we did. We then fell into a case of deception. We received a message saying the earrings had not been returned in full and there were missing pieces. This was not the case the earrings were carefully packaged in a sealed envelope and then an additional postage bag. The only way any part could have been “lost” is on opening the packaging. We are now left with no repair replacement or original earrings. I will never buy from this company again and suggest that others avoid falling into the same trap.

Brilliant service, beautiful necklace.

I bought a gold necklace via the Shop app but didn't get a confirmation email from Hurley Burley. I messaged them and they responded the next day, resolved the issue and located my order, which was delivered the day after! The necklace is more delicate and beautiful than I expected and I can't wait to present it to my new daughter in law with the charm I wore on my wedding day. Excellent service.
I was unaware of this brand until I saw a radio station insta post where a couple of actors were presented with personalised St Christopher's by Hurley Burley.
Was delighted to find exactly what I was looking for on their website.

Poor engraving (snell font)!

I am very disappointed with the bracelet I had engraved for my husband. The font I choose looked REALLY odd, with the date of our wedding looking like it was a mixture of numbers and letters (the 9 actually being engraved just like a g!). I had numerous emails to them sending them a photograph of the odd dating but they took no responsibility in the matter. They just kept reiterating their policy. My point is if I miss spelt something of course it would be my fault, but that wasn't the case, it was 100% their issue and a good company would have resolved this matter.

As mentioned in our correspondence, we engraved the bracelet with your chosen style of font and your inputted personalisation exactly as requested.

We referred to our policy regarding personalised items as it is stated in every product description as well as an alert before checkout. This states that once items are personalised there is no refund or exchange policy.

We wish we could have reached a more positive solution regarding the matter.

I purchased TWO bracelets for my…

I purchased TWO bracelets for my Grandaughters. The price was over £200
Unfortunately they were too small. When I rung to ask for the links to be increased. They refused saying they do not offer this service .
They could however offer me 15 percent discount on another two
I’m very disappointed. What a waste of money . Sad.

After a few happy years, I won’t be back …

UPDATE 24.09.25 - Re response from HB., I didn’t produce ‘further info’ to them by email having written exhaustively during the ‘case’. HB - all you need to do is review my innumerable emails which your staff seemed to struggle to answer. I have no desire to waste my time with more communications to you.

Previously a huge fan over the years of HB., my recent experience has left a bitter taste and I won’t be back. Knowing my partners wrist was 21cms and having ordered a bracelet that was only 18cms (my fault for not reading) I returned it. Lots of emails where I explained what I was looking for and the size hoping for some advice as what I could find on their website left such little choice. Clearly no one grasped what I was asking and I ended up having to shop locally in Norwich as time ran out for me to confidently buy from HB. Either the staff didn’t understand my simply worded email or, more likely, they didn’t bother to read them. I outlined my displeasure to which they replied almost self-congratulating themselves on how well they had dealt with my communications. Ha! Be careful on reading the sizing because many of their bracelets (for example) are only one size. I await their reply on here. Stand-by!

Great Service

Placed an order for my daughters birthday and then realised my daughter had a 20% birthday discount code! I telephoned and got a very quick pick up and the guy was totally amazing. Cancelled my order and money back in my account within minutes. Great service. We then placed revised order with code. Thank you for a great saving.

Made my first order with Hurley Burley…

Made my first order with Hurley Burley and both my 6 year old daughter and myself are very happy with the order (a personalised bracelet for my 6 year old baby girl). The bracelet is beautiful and although there was a delay with the Courier this does not reflect onto Hurley Burley and I would highly recommend and will be placing many more orders

I bought some earrings for my granddaughter for Christmas from this company, through notonthehigh street.com.
They arrived late ( after being sent initially to the wrong address) and when she opened them on Christmas Day, discovered they were so tiny that they would hardly fit a baby! She's a petite 6 year old. They were described as suitable for all ages. I sent her money to go and choose her own, to avoid disappointment, and I have spent most days since Christmas chasing a refund, unsuccessfully to date. I hope notonthehighstreet.com stops selling this disappointing tat. Their excuse is that they have a mountain of returns to get through - I bet!

Lacklustre customer service - shame

Terrible customer service and communication. Then proceeded to take no accountability or show empathy; just ask for more money for redelivery. Laughable really.
Complete shame as they are a small company - wish I didn't have to be negative.
