The boiler is 12 years old and apparently it's not worth repairing which is a shame I thought it might have another three years life. Anyway apparently they will offer a discount on a new boiler so I'll just have to see what happens. So it's difficult really to give it a star rating. So I went for the middle rating three stars. Despite being 12 years old it's the first time my boilers actually played up so ideal do make a reliable boiler

I have a number of boilers as a landlord and was impressed by ideal when I needed a warranty repair. Mainly becuase I called up, spoke to an actual person really quickly who dealt with the enquiry and booked an engineer all within a few minutes. The engineered turned up when they said they would and did the necessary.

Did an amazing job. The gentleman’s house the engineer went to is house bound and disabled I arranged for the engineer to be let in before I got their. .
While seeing to the boiler he noticed the washing machine was leaking and fixed it at the taps, so kind as I was trying to find someone to sort this. Never known this before. Total star.

When I recently moved house and had no heating or hot water an Ideal engineer arrived first thing next morning and sorted the problems. Highly recommended - first class customer service.
