No Response after Payment
To whom it may concern,
I arranged a pick up for the 5th August and 13 days later no one has come to collect my package. I have followed up with several emails and phone calls (despite your call centre apparently employing no staff) and have heard nothing in return.
If you are not coming to pick up the package please confirm and i would like a refund, although i understand from another disgruntled "customer" that you only do these on Friday's (Joseph K ) ... luckily i'm just in time!
However, if you would like to retain my custom and my money please get in touch ASAP regarding a date and time to pick up my package which is now 2 weeks overdue and has become a matter of urgency.

Imposteurs escrocs !
Pratiques mafieuses, j'ai dû me rendre au Havre pour récupérer mon dossier et dédouaner par mes propres moyens.
Cette compagnie de rigolos prétendait qu'il manquait des documents pour dédouaner alors que ce n'était pas le cas.
Incompétence à l'état pure ou arnaque?
De plus ils m'ont obligé à payer une importante somme en espèces pour récupérer mes documents.
Cette somme n'était pas justifiée et comprenait des frais de dédouanement et de livraison alors que ces services n'avaient pas été honorés.
Très mauvaise expérience.
Je vous déconseille cette pseudo entreprise!!!

THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLE!!
They gave us a false quote, turned out to be quite a lot more expensive. Then the website charged us twice without providing an invoice and they had no record of our order. There is no number to call on the website and they were slow to respond to emails. The pickup was meant to be the next day (between the hours of 9 - 5!) but never came, and no notifications why. So we emailed, they said it would come the next day, and it didnt. Then we emailed again, said it would come the next day, and it didnt. Then the company went on holidays for a week and didnt respond to emails. Then it started all started again the next week with the story 'yeah pickup is tomorrow' but they still didnt come. So after a few more days of this we asked for a refund and they said they only do refunds on Fridays. So we are waiting for Friday to come. You couldnt make this stuff up.

Excellent service
I would like to thank the Intercargo team for their great work in shipping my goods from Cape Town to Amsterdam (door to door shipment). They kept me informed of the status of my shipment at all times and they were very organised. The goods were collected on the agreed day and also delivered on the correct date. I would recommend Intercargo to anyone who is looking to ship goods.

Good Service
I used this company to ship my staff from Oxford to Saudi Arabia. Around 13 crt (262 kg) through Qatar Airways.
I received my staff on time after 6 days. There was no fraud or scam :).
They keep me updated until the following status "Shipment Departed" then I follow up with Qatar Airways. so make sure to select very good carrier.
Advantages:
1- Excellent customer service
2- Update me in each step and what I should do until the following status "Shipment Departed" then I follow up with Qatar Airways.
3- Price :)
Disadvantages:
1- They need to clarify the process. I think they should send some workflow or steps to ship your items, The video is not enough. even though they help me to understand the process by phone and email.
2- No followup after the following status "Shipment Departed".. as I mentioned before I follow up with Qatar Airways and because of that I am happy :) and have very good experience.
my advice:
1- Use this company if you select very good carrier like Qatar Airways. 2- You need to read carefully all the details . in my case their responsibility end when my Shipment Departed London.

My first booking was a success
After booking, I stumbled through all these negative reviews and was very unsure wether it was a good idea to give it a try.
But hey, for me it was a success. I received my items on time, in good condition and there was no fraud or scam here. Reason enough to write a "counterbalance review". :)
There were a few disappointments as well:
* The tracking system worked only for a few steps and didn't get updated anymore after collection. Not helpful.
* The shipment was booked to be delivered to STR airport nearby, but was delivered to FRA airport instead, which cost me extra $$$ to have the boxes shipped to me.
* The booking website is horrible at picking locations. The design of the dropdown boxes and truncated texts makes it very hard to avoid errors by identical citiy names in different states or even countries.
These were annoyances. But I got my packets shipped *by far* cheaper than with any of the alternatives, even after paying for the extra fare from FRA to STR. This made it very easy to accept these issues.
Will book again.

RIP OFF COLLECTION COSTS
Just double check when booking your cargo they have a glich in there site which changes the collection address if you are collecting from another address, the site lets you put the dimensions in and gives you the price but if its over 120 cm L they charge you extra just cost me £170.00 the rates look good but just beware, very slow getting the shipments out, i will wait and see how quick they manage this shipment even though i am out of pocket, once bitten twice shy

Horrendous Service
This company's bad service has just cost me a ton of money. I had a small shipment which they left to sit in storage at the customs house for weeks without telling me. They said they were waiting for payment but they never sent me an invoice and never made any attempt to contact me to tell me what was going on. If I hadn't just happened to send them a message about a different topic, I would have had no idea this shipment was sitting in storage racking up massive storage charges. I'll never use this company again.

I got a quote from this company, and instantly they said I had not selected the correct option. BEWARE there was no correct option to select or else I would have selected it. This was the first sign this company was a fraud.
I went to cancel immediately (5 minutes after placing the order) and they said they would charge me.
I fought this and they eventually charged me 35GBP for offering absolutelly no service. It took almost 2 months to get my money back.
BEWARE FRAUD - I have notified HMRC.
Good service at reasonable rates
Had a pallet of equipment shipped by Intercargo from Denmark to US. Rates were reasonable, service was good. I was getting regular email updates from the team at Intercargo and Ahmer was always available on the phone. Had small issues NOT caused by Intercargo and spoke to Ahmer almost on a daily basis. Cargo was received in the US in good shape, without any damage. Very good service for the money. Will use them again.
WORST COMPANY EVER
This is the worst company I had ever dealt with. No one knows what's going on. Their employees are so illiterate about their company. If you are ready to lose your money, deal with them. They destroyed my business and made me lose a lot of money. GOOD LUCK WITH WHOMEVER DEALS WITH THEM!!
Just don't
Like others here, I had an awful experience with Intercargo. The pickup - while on time - was rude and unprofessional. We had questions about our shipment and the person picking up had absolutely no idea how to answer, nor was he too keen on doing his one job - TAKING PACKAGES TO THE CAR. He actually made my partner do most of it, which was infuriating.
The shipments arrived at customs TWO MONTHS LATE, and we got some surprise fees because we had no idea that this was not a door-to-door delivery service. So we've been charged additional "holding" and "release" fees that should have been mentioned upfront.
In addition, they are thoroughly uncommunicative. No response to emails or phone calls whatsoever. And it's a shame for them - I send a lot of packages internationally every month, but those contracts certainly won't be with Intercargo.
Absolutely NEVER Again!
I thought this service would benifit our international customers, through reduced freight rates and good delivery times. Our concerns started the moment I booked the first consignment - it 2 days to collect it - then it sat in London for over a week before finally shipping to Singapore where it remained in "customs" for another 10 days!!!
Our customer in Singapore couldn't believe it, nor could we!! On the phone or email every day to find some answers but in the end our customers in Singapore finally got the consignment released and delivered after more than 3 weeks!! You have been warned!!
Scammers, avoid at all costs
Terrible organisation, they advertise low rates to snare you. But once you pay your money that's it; you will be lucky if your goods get delivered. Avoid, you've been warned, unless you wish to lose both money and goods.
Pirates.
-Didn't show up on the set collection day
-Didn't update the records so the progress of shipment could be followed. When it turned up it was a complete surprise.
-Lost one of seven bags without as much as an apology. (Sure, should have taken insurance, but I really don't think these pirates whould have paid on it anyway.)
-Rude on the phone, never calls back, rarely picks up. Their emails are permanently set to "out of office" even though they're there.
-Now, 6 months later, they've started chasing me for an additional collection payment that was not included in the initial price.
You have been warned, put an extra £200 and send with DHL.

If you would like us to go ahead with this booking, please ensure that an additional charge for personal effects of 37.00GBP is paid in full.

There is no place in their website indicating General Cargo is for business/commercial use.
If General Cargo is really for commercial use, they must have a place in the order form asking for business ID or import/export number. Who would have known General Cargo is for business use only?
And they charged 25GBP out 29GBP (full service price) for cancellation fee when they even hadn't progressed anything with the order.
They cheated people with misleading terms and lacking of explanations, then make business out of ridiculously high cancellation fees. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
