Last year I bought a Bramblecrest Coccoon chair from JB Furniture and the order was promptly delivered. Unfortunately there was a problem as the frame was poorly constructed. I took photos of the frame and sent them to JB Furniture along with a description of the problem. JB Furniture dealt with the issue by liaising with Bramblecrest and a replacement was soon with me. As it was near the end of the summer season the frame was stored in the garage. Earlier this year I unwrapped the frame and found another problem, it was poorly welded and rusty around the joints. Again I took photos and emailed them to JB Furniture with a description of the problem. Again this issue was promptly dealt with to my satisfaction. I cannot state how pleased I am with the customer services at JB Furniture and would not hesitate to recommend the company to any prospective customers.

I purchased a Triple Cocoon chair from JB Furniture in September 2021 for around £1,000. While the product initially looked great, after approximately five years the frame began to bubble and the powder coating started to crack.

For a premium outdoor furniture item at this price point, I would expect a significantly longer lifespan. This level of deterioration feels premature and not in line with the quality advertised.

I contacted JB Furniture to raise this as a durability concern. Unfortunately, the response I received focused solely on the item being out of warranty, and no further assistance was offered. Even when I requested a small goodwill contribution towards a replacement frame (costing just £84), this was declined.

I’m disappointed not just with the product’s longevity, but with the lack of flexibility or customer support in resolving what I believe is a reasonable issue.

Based on this experience, I would be cautious about making similar purchases in the future.

Hence only 2 stars for one of the worst customer service experiences I had.

Fantastic company to deal with… given we are in Glasgow the store is Newcastle - called up asked questions, bought Bramblecrest garden set.. told me it would be late April.. I received my receipts and confirmation by email. I emailed a couple of times to check on order Diane was amazing. This morning just had it all delivered - Ben the courier - fantastic communication - even turned up early - white glove service also - so everything built and put in place!! I cannot recommend this company highly enough - I wish more business and retailers were as easy and professional to deal with!! Thank you!!

I ordered furniture & paid in full over two weeks ago. Have had to chase for a delivery date as I am hosting an event tomorrow. The courier company that they use, who I assume are cheap, are an absolute joke who tell lie after lie.

I recently purchased a lovely Monterey bistro set from JB Furniture, the bistro set looks great, and it is of good quality, given a few days of decent weather since it was delivered we have managed to use the set and found that the chairs were comfortable.

Firstly, while the patio set was delivered on time as promised, I was disheartened that the cardboard packaging was not removed upon delivery. This was mentioned to us at the time of order, but, for a set consisting of two chairs and a table, there was an excessive amount of packaging that was difficult to transport in a car for disposal at the tip.

Secondly, when the final balance payment was due before delivery, I received an email from an address at wordplay.com claiming to represent JB Furniture, instructing me to click a link within the email to make the payment. Given the inherent insecurity of email, I found this method highly inadvisable. When I raised my concerns with JB Furniture, I was surprised that they considered this a secure way to collect payments. They did not seem to recognise the risks of scammers intercepting emails and altering details (links) to redirect payments, or using spoofing to make the email address appear credible. I am concerned about the responsibility JB Furniture would assume if this payment method was used and the email had been intercepted, diverting the payment to scammers.

Due to these concerns, I attempted to pay over the phone. Despite the delivery being scheduled to my home, they informed me that they could not accept a telephone card payment due to security concerns and their inability to verify the address. As a result, I had to visit the store in person to make the payment.

Because of this experience, I feel I can only give a three-star review on this occasion, which is unfortunate.

Fantastic company to deal with, from in store (Chloe and Nic) to delivery drivers, sorry didn’t get names.

We bought fire pit arrangement, parasol, table and chairs plus loungers. All had different lead times so they had to make 3 deliveries, all was done with ease.

We would not hesitate recommending this company to anyone. Thanks for a fab experience which can be very rare these days!

I bought a cantilever Bramblecrest parasol with cover and granite base from JB Furniture and paid for the wrapping and packing to be removed, which the driver did for us.

The company did communicate with me at all times as far as delivery information was concerned via email and phone, which was excellent.

A big thumbs up for the delivery driver on his own carrying my cantilever parasol and the base because it was very heavy, he did a fantastic job.

My wife and I visited the Benton, Newcastle store today where we purchased a full garden furniture set and some extras. We were thoroughly impressed with the fantastic customer service from Diane and her colleague. Would certainly recommend

5 stars all round, from walking in, to delivery to putting things right the customer services was excellent. They lovely lady who help me with my choice (I did not get her name) to Nic for after sales I was so impressed. My 4 seasons sofa is so comfy and looks amazing. As I live in a town house the delivery driver had to go into the neighbours garden and lift the furniture over their fence into my garden which I did not expect he would have done. When I unboxed it,it had a few marks and a quick call to the shop and Nic sprung into action to get it rectified with a few solutions which were all good. I am delighted with the sofa set and the whole JB experience! I Will tell everyone I know to come here for their furniture needs. Thank you

Tremendous customer service from Nic at JB furniture Wakefield. The seat frame on our cane settee broke outside the guarantee time. We sent photos as compared to our other settee the frame appeared to be badly constructed. Within days Nic responded that a new frame had been ordered at no further cost to ourselves. The new frame was delivered yesterday and all is well. Thankyou we highly recommend this company!

Brought a bramblecrest parasol cover and base , brought for a good price. ( pre heatwave) Had to keep chasing delivery was told it was with their couriers - never arrived and when chased replied saying sending a refund, even though it is still available and in stock however they are now selling at a higher price since the heatwave - terrible customer service !!

This family business is second to none , they actually care if you are satisfied or not, they offer reassurance and really good advice, the chair was delivered by a lovely man really quickly, who told me to call anytime if I am not satisfied, and is superb, I love it.

If I could give you more stars, I would. Absolutely exceptional service throughout, especially Lesley, for whom nothing was too much trouble. We visited the showroom on Saturday and the furniture we wanted was only available at their other store, so we ordered it anyway. I received a phone call 30 minutes after leaving the store to tell me our furniture would be on a van on Sunday and delivered to to us on Tuesday. It arrived at 11am, on the button as promised. The driver was very polite and helpful.
Rarely have we received such exceptional service. First class. Thank you.

I brought a Double hanging Cocoon it developed a little fault omg Debbie Vollands in customer services absolutely fantastic exchanged kept me updated all the way lovely lady so helpful it’s not very often you get a good After sales but I Highly recommend JB furniture many thanks 😊
