Dirty changing rooms
The changing rooms were very dirty and specially after leaving pure gym where toilets n changing rooms were in excellent condition. It feels like iv made a bad decision n how comes the toilets b changing room is closed between the hours of 12am till 5am Wen pure gym are still open with your code.feels like JD is stuck in time.wont b a customer for long

Thanks for leaving us some feedback. With regards to cleaning, we do have our team going around the gym keeping on top of cleaning regularly, but if you think there is something they've missed please do feel free to email the Manager on batley@jdgyms.co.uk
With regards to the changing rooms being open 24hr. We are a 24-hour gym in Batley, but due to there being less staff on duty throughout the night, areas which are not covered by CCTV are closed t for the safety of our members (i.e. the main changing rooms and saunas).
We do however leave the accessible changing room open at all times, as well as there being lockers for you to use. If you need to get changed or grab a shower during the night, that option is there for you and you'll have complete privacy in there.

The equipments are so useful
The equipments are so useful, better atmosphere and the team members are so nice to talk to and I rather go here than my old gym so this one is definitely the best gym ever!

Needs a better ab machine and deadlift platforms have dips so the weight is unbalance when lifting.

The gym has really gone down hill for…
The gym has really gone down hill for me. I was a member years ago when it first opened and it was gleaming equipment spot on and loads of machines.
Went back to the one in Halifax which is excellent as it is brand new and noticed they were banning members for not putting there weights back.
Trained at batley all week and the weights are everywhere alot of members can't be bothered putting weights back. Hardly any clips for the Olympic bars and the general tidiness of the place is no where near how it used to look.

Hardly any staff not enough equipment at peak very basic gyms upon sign up was told there were no offers on only to find out there was an offer.

Very clean and tidy
Very clean and tidy. Plenty of machines/equipment to use. Added bonus of a very hot sauna and 8 cubicles of showers.

I’m not a big attendee only been attending your gym on…
I’ve only been attending your gym on drs orders, consequently I’m not in for long, just on the excercise bike for around 35 minutes but I notice certain people hogging the same machines which I think is very unfair

Very bad service
Classes are alway cancelled, staff can be rude, no parking, never any free machines available.
Contracts don't make sense. No Parity. Some people get good deals others have to pay joining fee and the highest rate £21, you don't get anything for being a loyal customer, no offers or anything they just rip you off when you leave as you have to give 30 days notice to cancel, seems unfair when you cant use the gym for the above reasons.
