Overall the gym is good its just some equipment like legs press racks arent there which are key pieces to any gym

Excellent facilities helpful and friendly staff love the sauna feel refreshed refreshed after using your gym

Amazing gym

First time at the gym. Easy to use good facilities with plentiful of options

A great, spacious gym with lots of classes and equipment. I also love that there’s at least a sauna, would prefer a steam room but a sauna is better than nothing.

I would love to see that although lovely displays, the pictures on the walls represent the gym’s membership which is rather diverse.
There is a high percentage of Black and Asian people who attend each time I visit but the display pictures don’t or if they do, don’t clearly represent the gym’s membership.

On the other hand, The gym has a lovely atmosphere to it and for the first time I like going to the gym.

DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM- MY ITEM WAS STOLEN IN THE CHANGING ROOM AND THE STAFF DIDN'T BOTHER TO HELP ME.
my towel was stolen while I was in the sauna. I approached a member of the staff for assistance, they informed me that there were no towels available, which left me feeling quite uncomfortable.

However, the real disappointment came when I left the changing room and discovered that towels were available in a vending machine. I couldn't understand why the staff had not offered me this option when I clearly needed a towel. When I asked for an explanation, the staff did not provide a reasonable response. It was the worst customer service I have ever had.

Signed up for a membership and the gym is closed for the foreseeable future due to a fire 😂

Matt the Manager on duty met me with a smile, very helpful and professional, explaining everything in detail and offering to set up my app, showing me how to use it.

No 15kg bars
Only one place to squat/used racks in the whole gym
No where to do anything other that strict pull ups
Only 1-2 sets of change plates (2.5 and 1.25kg)
Minimal coloured standard size plates.
No free benches to wheel around
No concept 2 bike ergs
Only one plyo box that was actually leaking sand every time I landed on it.
Only one eleiko bar when most other JD Gyms have been fully kitted out with eleiko kit.

A good sized gym - however it does lack quality equipment. The bars and plates are cheap and some of the machines were broken. The gym is missing adjustable squat and bench racks, they only have fixed ones. The gym was super busy when we went which made it difficult to get on equipment at times. 2 deadlift platforms is not enough for the amount of people in the gym at one time. However it was nice and clean, the changing rooms are decent, and £21.99 per month isn't a bad price.

I was not given access today at 00:30 on 07 October 2023 when I went to gym as my QR code did not work. Unlike others my work schedules does not allow me to join a day gym, so I preferred this one at Derby. But it's a clear dissapointment and they have terrible management. Infact, there was no manager in the night other than cleaner. After 20 minutes of showing all proofs of membership, the cleaner called her manager and I spoke to "Shannon" on call but he asked me to come in the day time or when managers are there, instead of resolving my issue and giving me an access. Complete waste of my time in the middle of the night, when I assumed it's a 24/7 gym and JD Gyms respect their clients.It's a terrible experience and the I am not a person to create drama, but this kind of disrespect was overboard for me!

Loads of equipment, never too busy. Could do with a couple more machine cleaning sprays around. Great gym and friendly staff.

Disappointed in the quality of machines. Placement of mirrors also poor. I was expecting better

Wide range of equipment to use, contactless vending machines and free water from the drinking taps to refill your bottles. No pressure environment & a great modern feeling about the place

The staff are friendly and always there if you require any help with the machines also the pts are there to support your needs

It’s amazing, has a good range of machines. My previous gym did not have any seated machines for calf raise and instead you had to rely on other types of weights so I definitely love the larger array of available machines.

After joining the gym ,the gym members need to show abit respect to other club members and not to take all the space when just leaving their clothes labout the changing area's as respecting other gym members space to place their own clothing in lockers which are provided.
I have raised my concerns to gym management.
