Staff could be better
Can't fault the gym great place would have given 5 star if not for member of staf.
I am partially sighted and needed help with WiFi was told by member of staff they were cleaning at the moment...no intention of helping

Women's only section is a joke
The gym itself is well equipped for the most part, but the women's only section is a tiny space with very little equipment and no natural light. I've noticed a lot of women go in and out to bring equipment/weights from the gym into the section. And it's so small and dingy when there's only 4 or 5 women in there we're really on top of each other. When you compare the women's section to any other section in the gym, you can see it was put in with no thought for the people using it and was a PR tick box exercise. Borderline impossible to find weights or dumbbells under 8kg in the entire building. Some men who attend this gym are very rude (putting their hoodies on equipment still being used, trying to use equipment whilst you're adding weights to it, hanging around equipment but not actually using it etc). If you're not intimidated by toxic gym bros then facility-wise it's good for the price, otherwise places like Pure Gym and Total Fitness have a much better atmosphere.

The gym overall is amazing the only problem I have is that on occasion the scanning machines to let you in and out don’t always work and customers are having to ring for assistance

Great gym
Great gym. I go during the day when it’s much quieter. Family vibe as lots of us are regulars. Equipment is getting renewed and gym having huge refurbishment which it needed. Good that the company have listened to members.
Cleanliness can be an issue though and some members have poor gym etiquette and leave machines loaded with plates

Doesn't feel safe.
Inside the gym was a generic as any other gym. Kit all looked pretty standard, no cleaners were present though.
However! From arriving in the car park it didn't feel safe at all. There was absolutely no light at all from the car park to the doors.
Absolute blackness.

The first issue is the heating and…
The first issue is the heating and cooling system of the gym. The cold airflow is directed straight downward, which, when you are sweating from exercise, can cause you to catch a cold.
The second issue is that many of gym equipment are out of service and don't get repaired.
Also, the number of commonly used equipment are not enough and most of the times it takes long time to be able to use them even when the gym is not crowded.

Poorly looked after
Toilets are always dirty, showers are cold. Don’t have many small denomination plates for the bars so can never find any. the ropes for the cable machines are all frayed to the point I’m scared to use them for fear they’ll break. The culture in the gym is poor as noone removes weights or reracks equipment when they are finished. Good level of cardio equipment.

The setting up an account and service…
The setting up an account and service doing that was made easy & professional. Unfortunately being a mature man with a new membership on three occasions I went to the gym I found it over full & I felt intimidating to walk in so I turned away & last. This is good for the gym but not for me. I have since cancelled my new membership.
