JD Gyms - Widnes Avaliações 

There was only cold water so my shower, after doing 2 classes, wasn’t a very nice experience. I was going straight to work so didn’t have time to go home for a shower. Not a good first impression.

Want to say how epic Davids classes are in Widnes. He is full of infectious good energy and has that Les Mills magic that is so hard to find in an instructor. He encourages you to work hard while making the class fun, plays old tracks mixed in with new ones (love that!) really really wish he did more than two pump/combat classes a week because he’s just that great!

Great gym, not much space between machines, but great amenities for everyone

It was brilliant loved every minute in there, its so much better than pure im so glad I changed to jd gym

Gym is very clean, all equipment working. Zumba class is amazing. Changing room, toilets etc all very clean 👍🏻

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The accessibility of everything was great. Plenty of equipment. No pressure so able to just do your workout at your pace. Lots of classes too but I’ve not tried them yet. Good atmosphere. Just really great for me as it’s been 17 years since I was last at the gym so felt a little nervous but not sure why now. Only started yesterday and went again today.

Only once have I seen the equipment being cleaned by staff. I understand it is the responsibility of the client as well however this very rarely happens.
Not much in the way of air-conditioning is this due to energy prices 🤔 Surly this can be covered with the money being made from membership and so few staff in the gym.
Very poor selection of classes also. I was expecting there to be much more available.

Please please fix the whole shower area!!! It absolutely stinks 90%of the time and as for the temperature of the showers for the last 6weeks they have all been freezing cold!!! And please can we try and use some air con of an afternoon because when it’s really busy it’s like working out in Ibiza!!!!!

Plenty of machines and a good amount so it’s not too difficult to find something you can do. Good location

Gym is very good with some decent kit, staff are friendly. I have been there a while now, only issue I have is with the showers, they have been freezing for the past two months now. We keep being told they are going to be fixed with no improvement.

First visit 11/01/23
I mainly do cardio and the machines for running/walking are excellent even when busy there are free machines to use, very clean, not used the changing room yet but i had a look and are very clean aswell i have used plenty of gyms over the years and i feel really comfortable here, also easy access to the gym, overall it is excellent.

Went to a lunchtime Spin class.
Bikes were in poor condition, difficult to free the adjusters to set the seat and handlebars to the correct height.
Couldn't hear the Instructor's voice because she was drowned out by her own class music.
Accoustics in the Spin room are very echo-ey.

Machines are too spread out
I Like to box and both bags are the same could do with 2 different bags
not enough explanation on classes on what they actually are (on the app )

Gyms OK nothing special but showers are now cold which has put me off going

Staff are very helpful,polite and caring, gym it self is good has everything you need .but for the past 5+ weeks the showers in the men's haven't been working properly,water is cold,luke warm at times if your lucky.
Have been told on several occasions its getting fixed ...seems that the plumber must be making his way on foot from timbuktu.
Come on management get a grip and get it fixed, its not that difficult.
