Chris, Will and Max were all very professional, responsive and helpful throughout. Our house sale was completed quickly with no dramas, at the price we expected and with a competitive commission rate.
We thought the quality of the marketing was excellent, and also the manner in which the team kept us updated on viewings and feedback was second to none. John Payne are the worst estate agents I had viewing on a property and a lady who showed me round didn't even know were the garden was and too busy on her fone.i asked for a valuation and the guy from john Payne put down wrong date.bad service on a number of occasions I asked did washing machine work Never got any feed back and they said property had been empty 1 year when really it was over 3 yrs

I dealt with the Lettings manager Leonardo Torrejon at the Eltham Branch.
We agreed a fee for a letter only and then I made arrangements for him to go and look at the property.

Once he saw the property he came back and doubled his fee. It was only a small two bedroom flat but I found his attitude absolutely disgraceful. He lied and agreed a lower rate and then once he had seen the flat doubled it just to try and get the business. It was a complete waste of my time. He was absolutely unapologetic and I will never ever deal with him again at this branch.

I didn't had a great experience with John Payne residential company. For a web page to rent in Plumstead and Woolwich - they have on the page "let agreed" most of the offers, only one was available. Why then you have them on the page, take them off from you adverts and don't miss lead people who is searching in this areas.

Karen was really helpful following the deal throughout. It wouldn’t have been possible without her.

During my recent search for a property, Karen Hedges from John Payne Blackheath Village completely changed my perception of estate agents.
Working with Karen showed me the true value of having a good estate agent by your side. Karen's honest opinion, willingness to help, and proactive nature made discussing and searching for properties an absolute pleasure. Not only did she handle me as a buyer with care, but her approach with the sellers when dealing with my queries proved that she is someone I can trust.
I looked at properties with more than 7 different estate agents and I saw more than 30 properties. Karen was the best estate agent I encountered.
Unfortunately, John Payne did not have the right property for me, but I sincerely wish I had found it with them.
When I sell and buy my next place, I will definitely be looking for Karen’s assistance again!

Overall I was very pleased with my home searching and buying experience through John Payne, the only negative I found was that after I’d had my offer accepted communication dropped off. I often felt out of the loop and not up to date with what was happening elsewhere in the chain.

I recently purchased a property in South East London and was incredibly fortunate that the vendors had selected the Plumstead branch of John Payne to be the Estate Agents in the sale. A very stressful purchase overall, but the whole team were fantastic throughout - in particular, Will and Vishal. They really went the extra mile to step in and liaise directly with all parties involved in the sale, including particularly difficult solicitors, to relieve the burden on me and drive progress. When things almost fell through and my solicitors failed to provide me with adequate advice, Will and Vishal even pulled out all the stops to do the solicitors' job for them, plugging the gaps and supporting me in find answers to my (many!) questions.

The team was very accommodating of my difficult work schedule, often taking calls very early/late into the evening, and always actioned things so quickly for me when last minute curve balls were thrown. In a highly stressful situation, the team injected great humour into our communications and really helped to lift my spirits - even if they do have terrible taste in football teams!

I would highly recommend using John Payne Plumstead when selling your property and know that the team will ensure the best experience for both vendor and purchase - I can honestly say that without them and all their efforts, I still wouldn't have completed and may never have!
