Tutorabc is an amazing place to work and it’s pretty flexible. The feedback system is too harsh on the teachers and it needs an urgent review to keep teachers mentally balanced and stable.

This is a dead-end job that will give you sleepless nights. you will watch your schedule fill with classes and then watch them disappear in front of your eyes, it's a very unstable job with no teacher support plus very low pay...If you like wasting your time go for it! if you want a job with benefits look else where

I've been with the company 5 months, after transferring from iTG. I'm very happy with my experience. I have been getting progressively more teaching slots, so I am very happy to see my income improving. I enjoy the mixture of regular students and one-off clients. I've not had any serious problems or complaints, but the company and the Teacher Reps seem to deal with issues in a professional and supportive manner.

I have been working here for 6 years and I love this platform, it truly is user-friendly and efficient.
Management is efficient and they are truly trying hard to make the teacher happy.
If you send a ticket, you get a response and are not ignored.

I've worked for TutorABC for 4 months now after transferring from ITG. They are an excellent company to work for. They do their best to assist teachers and respond promptly to any queries I have. They have a generous policy on cancellations and I like the flexibility over lessons and scheduling. Overall my experience has been overwhelmingly positive.

Very bad treatment of teacher - if you don`t maintain a high rating of 9.5/10 you might face consequences such as deactivation of your profile - temporary or even permanent and if you get a really unfair feedback there is nothing you can do about it, you can just wait for potential deductions. Too much stress, too little support from the management except from some automatic responses and all of that for low base rate which is, by the way, constantly dropping.

I started to work with TutorABC back in 2011 and I am so happy to be part of all the positive changes, I have always had friendly support as a teacher, I have been listened and taken into account, which helps me keep focused in my teaching and students. I do not regret working for this amazing company!!!

This has been a really great experience for me. TutorABC makes scheduling easy, and the platform is probably the best around. I really like all the tools on the white board, and the photo library is very useful.

I have been with TutorABC for about three years. Teaching online and working from home enable me to do more things I want and give me a great flexibility to schedule my own time. As for the class, the only thing you need to do to enter the classroom is just a “click” which is really an user-friendly classroom platform with many tools to lead students during the class. Don't worry about the course materials. They will be ready whenever you enter the classroom.
This year, the system has changed so that teachers will get regular match students which means we will get more scheduled sessions. Hope anyone who wants to learn English will learn happily and well with us!

Really positive experience working for TutorABC. Good support from the team and the day to day teaching the kids is rewarding. The hours are flexible and I have had no problems with payment. Good community of teachers always willing to help with queries and specific problems.

I love working for TutorAbc. I teach mostly young learners and I'm in love with the platform. I enjoy teaching the Oxford University Press materials and conducting different types of lessons. The pay is always on time and the support team is pretty good.
The only downside of the company is that you are not guaranteed a full schedule which is somehow understandable.

I have been working for this company since 2009. It doesn't just value its students but also the consultants. The schedule is flexible and you can cancel your booking in case of an emergency. The staffs are helpful. If you have other concerns, you can also ask for help from teacher representatives in the teacher community. (Thank you!)The pay is reasonable and on time. You get a contribution bonus and a completion bonus. The longer you work for the company and the more sessions you finish, the more money you earn. I am also grateful for my wonderful students, especially my regulars. They're always polite and friendly.

TutorABC-great experience
I`ve been teaching here for more than three years mostly kids. It`s decent pay always on time. The staff are very helpful and polite. The notification system on Telegram is excellent.
The platform is easy to use and the materials for teaching are pretty good. Students are polite and diligent. The company is constantly improving. I love working for TutorABC.

I've been working with this company for more than 3 years now and I feel it's a much happier and more positive place to be since it moved back to Taiwan. The platform is easy to use and the lessons they supply are being updated and are constantly improving. The student/teacher match programme is a big success and has helped enormously to stabilise booking schedules. I work with adults and they are really lovely people - a pleasure to teach. The introduction of a team of teachers you can contact for advice or support has been a great initiative. The occasional online meet-ups are very useful and informative. It's still a work in progress but I feel that everything is moving in the right direction.

My experience with TutorABC has been a wild ride indeed. Lots of ups and downs, especially after three years of working for the company. However I can honestly say that over the last year, the company and management has really got stuck in and improved the workings behind the scenes. They are a lot more focused on the teachers (it still has a way to go, but they're definitely on the right track). which was really one of the main issues. So kudos to them all for that!!

This is my most important online job and experience. I have worked for tutorABC for many years ( except a pause for about one and a half year ). I have experienced many ups and downs with this company but I am still here. First off all the booking that I had before and now is one of the best, and before the MPT hours wasn't even necessary and we had empty-room robot classes when the student missed the session. Now the company is developing and changing and it is focused on Taiwanese population. We have some obligatory MPT hours now but that is something that most of the companies have. I like that there are both adult and junior classes and most of the student's are quite nice. The rating system for teachers in my opinion needs to be changed or re-arranged but I have noticed positive attitude from the company towards this topic and now we have something they call "mentorship program" which is improvement for teachers and from company, while we still can book our sessions. The salary is always on time and there is no doubt that this company is completely legit. The down side to be honest is base pay for some regions. Because maybe 5-6 years ago that base pay was decent but now day's cost of living skyrocket after corona crisis and for someone who want's to make a living from online teaching this base rate is more than quite challenging for one's survival and growth. This is the most important thing that needs to be improved in my opinion. And one more thing will be excellent if the company improves it - the lessons content. Some lessons are really challenging for both teachers and students and in my opinion we need to change and rearrange and improve some lessons and also add new one with more content in it and that would be perfect for both teachers and students. The site is really easy to be dealt with and I think there is no need for some changes in interface of the site because we have many tools and stickers already which is quite great. New phone app is a good thing and free-pass is also quite good for teachers ,only thing it should be improved is when a teacher is late and have been switched it should have longer opportunity for clicking "yes" on the app and not loose other booked sessions in next 12 or 24 hours. Overall I would also like to say that tutorABC has dedicated stuff now and a manager Jacko who is really helpful. Overall , this is a great company ,despite there is still room for more positive changes I would definitely recommend this company honestly.. Maybe my review is to long for some people but it was detailed, honest and brought up from my mind and soul as a result of a long and interesting cooperation with this company. I work for TutorABC. My schedule remains fairly busy and I really enjoy teaching the lesson material, which is user friendly, and easy to extend upon with further questions and activities should your students prefer. The clients are both adults and children and are usually engaged, attentive and friendly. I sometimes feel like our lessons are just friendly conversations. Required feedback reports take little time and can impact greatly on the student’s progress. My communication with staff during my time here has also been positive, receiving praise and encouragement. I am proud of working as an English consultant here and plan to remain here for the foreseeable future.
