I wish that I could give this company less than 1 star!! This is a horrible company for customer service - in fact, maybe the worst customer experience of any retailer!!!

I really think that this is a company that is grasping for time, but should be taken out to the pasture and "shot". This company is a thing of the past and should probably close its doors in 2018.

I have been a customer for many, many years and have seen both the quality of the product go down as well as customer service. The company's website is horrible, maybe the worst of any retailer. Good luck trying to purchase anything on the website. You select an item, seconds later go to purchase the item and the site says it is no longer available. You try to remove the item, but it won't remove the item and won't let you purchase anything else in your cart until that item is removed; so essentially you are unable to make a purchase!! Very frustrating! Then you try to call customer service and are on hold forever and nobody picks up the phone. Nobody connects via chat, nobody responds to email -- NOTHING! They "pride" themselves on customer experience, but their customer experience is the worst in the industry. If they are trying to be the worst, well then, give them 1st place!!! It is a horrible company to do business with and I am now DONE! Their merchandise is crap, their website is crap and their customer service is CRAP! Think twice about ever doing business with this company and hopefully in 2019, Jos A Banks will be a distant memory of a retailer!!!

I had been a loyal customer of Jos A Bank Clothing, having spent thousands of dollars; but after a recent experience, NEVER AGAIN. Supposedly due to (an incompetent) update of their website, while I was shopping they lost the contents of my shopping cart totaling 30+ items and more than $1500. Worse, they managed to delete my wishlist, which prevented me from recreating the cart. The wishlist was compiled over months of perusing the website. But wait! They also lost my purchase/order history. And deleted my saved credit card info (now, where did THAT go, I wonder?). For those of you who aren't familiar with Jos Bank, their sales change almost daily. I had been waiting for the perfect storm of clearance plus an extra 50% off, with my other items on special. BECAUSE *THEY* DELETED MY CART, I missed the sale. Completely. I got a grudging "we're sorry...but items in your cart must be purchased at the time of the sale to receive the discounts". Well...DUH...but THEY deleted my cart (oh, and don't forget, my wishlist went *poof!* as well), within an hour of the end of the sale, preventing me from making the purchase. I emailed twice. I never heard back. I had two fruitless live chats with customer service (???) reps. To be *fair*, I was offered a $25 discount....on $1500. Oh, wait, it was probably more like $25 off $2500...since I missed the sale due to THEIR incompetent IT crew.

I didn't take them up on the offer.

***UPDATE: Five business days now after my first email, and STILL no reply from JosBanks. They obviously are highly concerned about customer service and their image.
***UPDATE #2: it has now been two full business weeks, and they have not responded to even one of the three emails I have sent. If there were a way to give them a ZERO star rating, I would.
