Poor handling of customs charges and misleading communication

I ordered from Kajoon expecting international shipping and customs to be handled as indicated at the time of purchase. When the parcel arrived in Italy, I was unexpectedly asked to pay customs charges at delivery (€58).

Prior to delivery, Kajoon had explicitly confirmed in writing that any customs duties incurred would be paid or refunded by them. However, after payment, this position was walked back. I was offered only a partial refund (€15), despite the charges having been incurred precisely as described.

Communication then became inconsistent, and my follow-up messages seeking resolution went unanswered.

Customs procedures can be complex, but customers should not be left covering costs that were represented as included, nor ignored when raising legitimate concerns. Unfortunately, this was not handled transparently or professionally.

I ordered a bracelet at the start of December as a Christmas present but unfortunately the bracelet didn't fit my wife. Therefore I was unable to contact Kajoon for a refund until the New Year which was out of their normal refund period. However, they understood the situation and sent me an email with a pre-paid returns QR code that I could simply take to the post office, and after receiving the bracelet back they have processed my refund.
You learn more about a company when something goes wrong and Kajoon has done itself proud (hence me writing a review which I don't do very often). Thanks again to Konstantinos who was dealing with my query.

The order and delivery was spot on. I was just a little disappointed in the size of the bracelet.

Nicely made product, lovely weight. One thing that will put you off or it did for myself. The black/greenish mark as the cooper oxidised against the oils and Ph of our skin. However, soap and water it's off, clean the ring and then begin enjoying again.

After ordering the wrong size, I can’t praise you enough for the response and the quick exchange .

I have purchased two bracelets and a ring from Kajoon. All three are beautiful and extremely well made. Comfortable to wear and look fantastic together. I love that you can choose a size to fit. Definitely more purchases on the horizon for me. Pieces arrived quickly and in lovely boxes.
