Smooth and simple process of booking and i had issue with my driving licence but the karshare team have responded to my emails asap. Thanks team for wonderful support.

Hired a vehicle for a day in Bristol. Service from Karshare was brilliant. I was really impressed with the app GUI --> premium and user-friendly. I would recommend Karshare based on the service I received for sure (got a £20 discount on my first rental ;-) ).

I had a great experience the car owner was really helpful I would definitely recommend.

We've used the Karshare app twice now. It's simple to use. The cars are good value and convenient to collect and drop off.

Update- the manager Alex contacted me regarding everything and how absolutely awful my experience was and told me the car is longer available to hire until fixed and inspected so noone else will deal with what I did. She also issued a full refund for my experience and had the best customer service I have experienced in a while I am extremely grateful to her for actually understanding my issues and how wrong it was.

I rented a car off Karshare, however upon getting to the car I found it was covered in dents,scratches damage to the alloys everything. Even the rear reverse light was smashed. I then got in the car and began to drive it to get an Engine light warning for Air pollution filter and fuel injection point to pull over and call Karshare. I was told it was safe to drive and not to worry. They didn't say how it would struggle to accelerate and constantly fight me going above 55MPH not what you need on the Motorway!! Anyway after a torturous trip going so slow I returned the car in the exact same condition. I then got the your deposit will be returned within 7 days. I am still waiting for it but also think it's disgusting their is no updates between returning the car and receiving it back. You don't know if anyone is trying to claim damages or anything. I find this disgusting. It makes me question whether I will even rent another car.

Brilliant concept and excellent, user-friendly app. Car search and booking functions are easy to use, and the app-directed start-of-rental process is easy to follow.
I had one minor issue with the app incorrectly displaying a credit card payment return, but that was swiftly corrected with a quick call to customer service.
This was my first rental with Karshare and it will definitely be my first choice going forward.

The whole process of renting a car was made so simple by Karshare, the cars are new, reliable and clean. The app have ALL the information you need so not at any point are you confused by anything. I forgot to issue my driving license and the Karshare team contracted me a day before to make sure there were no issues on the day. Highly recommend these guys over old school rental companies.

First time renting had a few problems starting car up but rang up and the person we spoke to was very polite and helpful and talked us through it step by step and stayed on the phone till we was sorted will definitely be using this service again

2nd UPDATE 02/11/2022
I have been using Karshare for more than a year and a half, I have even collaborated with them to improve the App, which has always had some small bugs but the technical service has always been very friendly and quick to solve them. That's why I have continued to trust them all this time.

In my last rental there was a problem with the control box that karshare installs in the car. My phone would not connect to the car. Help center assured me that it was a problem that would be fixed in a couple of hours, so they started the engine remotely and I started my journey.
Of course this was not the case and I had to call them every time I wanted to start the engine of the car. They acknowledged that the fault was unsolvable and that I would have to do that for the rest of my trip.
Of course it was something that conditioned my whole trip, having to change my plans and not going to places where I had planned to go, for fear of not having signal to call them.

After all, they apologised to me and told me that there would be compensation.

After couple of emails and calls they finally did the full refound, so I'm rising the review again from 1 to 4 stars. Hopefully they will start checking better their hardware.

Rental went really well, smooth and easy from start to finish. App worked really well and was easy to follow. Car was great, clean and well looked after. Called customer service with a question and they were extremely helpful and questions answered quickly and efficiently. Very friendly. Will definitely be using this service again.
