Kardiologia

Czas oczekiwania na lekarza w poradnii kardiologicznej to katastrofa. Wizyta umówiona na konkretną godzinę 2 godziny czekania, a szanowna Pani Doktor nawet nie zaczęła przyjmować pacjentów. Po co umawiać wizyty na godzinę skoro Pani Doktor i tak przychodzi kiedy chce, jeśli w ogóle się pojawia. Istny brak szacunku dla pacjenta i poszanowania czasu pacjenta. Jeśli Pani Doktor posiada tak wiele obowiązków, że nie potrafi pojawić się na czas, może warto pomyśleć o ograniczeniu wizyt, lub zatrudnieniu kolejnego specjalisty.

We are deeply sorry that your recent trip to KCM Clinic did not go plan.

As you know, prior to surgery all our patients under go extensive pre operative tests. Unfortunately it was found that your wife was not suitable for the surgery on that day. Our doctors advised on treatment and offered your wife an alternative appointment. To which she declined.

We will not put our patients at risk. This is why your wife was disqualified.

As per our hospital policy, your wife was issued with a full refund minus the cost of the pre operative tests, doctors consultations, and accommodation. We can confirm that you received this refund more than 7 days ago to which you confirmed by email.

As with any private health care patients must pay for the treatment they received.

We hope this clears up your confusion.

Had a hip operation done at the kcm clinic in jelenia gora poland. 5 star treatment, spotlessly clean all staff were lovely and helpful, my surgeon had 31 years experience, and spoke flouant English, food was very good at the hospital throughout my stay. My coordinator Widyane was excellent from start to finish she organised everything from transport to and from the airport port, back and forth from hospital to hotel and back. My after care was excellent .Widyane answered any questions I had all the information for everthing i had do to me and Dvd of all the treatments I had alll in all fantastic experience would highly recommend

Top Surgeon, excellent experience!

The surgeon and surgical staff were professional and thorough. The surgery was a success and there were no complications. Long wait times for certain consultations/tests, with limited seating. Overall, it was a great experience, and a clinic I would recommend. Thank-you KCM!

3 Months On From TKR

I had a TKR 3 months ago in April. I travelled to Poland alone which I do not recommend. I’d strongly advise having a companion travel with you for emotional as well as practical support. I had totally underestimated the recovery and those first few days after the procedure were extremely tough going. Preparation is key!
I was very pleased with my pre-op diagnostic testing and screening - it was very thorough. I relied heavily on my wonderful International Patient Co-ordinatir Widyane as neither my surgeon nor the after-care nurses spoke much English at all. Widyane was with me every step of the way and is a credit to the Clinic.
The food was basic but adequate and I found the Clinic to have good hygiene standards.
I started physio the day after my surgery - staying a week in Jelenia Gora so that I could have a session every day. Physio immediately is vital.
I recommend the Mercure Hotel after discharge from the hospital - I found it the best in town in terms of accessibility (it has a lift whereas some hotels in town don’t), plus it has a restaurant and a 24 hour manned reception. For me, being alone, this was very assuring in case of emergency. I had initially booked into the Zimmer Apartments, across the road from the Clinic, but moved to the Mercure after one night. The reasons being I could not connect to Wifi so could not call out nor receive calls, there’s no F and B facility and staff are not on-site. I felt very vulnerable.
Overall my experience was good and my procedure went well however, and it’s a big however, I suffered peroneal nerve damage as a consequence of the operation and, three months on I’m in considerable pain which is negatively impacting my recovery. My doctor in the UK prescribed me Gabapentin which helps to some extent, but does not relieve the pain completely. Apparently the chances of this happening are small and it seems I’m unlucky. Nerve recovery takes a long time - from several months to a year. I’m hoping in my case it’s sooner rather than later as it’s preventing the increased quality of life that I’d hoped for.

Opinia dotyczy chirurgii plastycznej u doktora Kierzynki

Nie polecam! Doktor mi wykonywał 3 zabiegi w KCM Clinic Jelenia Góra. Wszystkie zostały wykonane nieprawidłowo, do dziś muszę robić poprawki u innego lekarza. Zabieg 1-abdominoplastyka. Lekarz pozostawił na brzuchu bardzo dużo skóry, pofałdowanej, krzywo zszyte, nawet nie było widać pępka. 2 zabieg redukcja piersi. I tu o ile wygląd samych piersi jest zadowalający to doktor zakończenie zszyć zrobił niechlujnie, pod pachami i mam teraz "utworzone" kolejne "cycuszki" pod pachami. 3.zabieg liposukcja ud z plastyka. Liposukcja w oglole nie została wykonana. Teraz miałam zabieg i wiem jak to powinno wyglądać. Skóra wycięta niedbale, przy kolanach zostawione wielkie bulwy skóry, zszycie zrobione jak u "świni", wszystko się rozeszło, do dziś muszę wykonywać zabiegi laserowe na blizny. Dodam tylko, że mąż miał robione plastykę dolnych i górnych powiek i na górnych też miał źle zszyte. Na wszystko posiadam dokumentację. Przestrzegam przed wczesnym wystawianiem opinii na prośbę klinik.

Allurion

Każdy przechodzi kwalifikacje. Nawet z niewielką nadwagą, bez otyłości. Najpierw jest płatność, później konsultacja z lekarzem. Wszyscy dostają te same zalecenia i leki, bez indywidualnego podejścia. Lekarz był sporo spóźniony, przez co czekaliśmy wiele godzin na czczo w korytarzu. Mimo drogiego zabiegu, dla oczekujących nie było nawet osobnej sali. Krótka konsultacja dietetyczna, dla każdego talerz bariatryczny. Błędy w zegarku, problemy z aplikacją pozostawione bez serwisu i pomocy. Całodobowe wparcie to sztuczna inteligencja, która na większość pytań odpowiada bardzo ogólnie. Dobrze zareklamowane ale przedrożone. Ostatecznie wszystko zależy od pacjenta. Dłuższa wersja programu to ten sam balon dla każdego tylko kilka rozmów telefonicznych więcej z dietetykiem.

Mieszane uczucia

Wszystko do dnia operacji odbyło się bez zarzutów. W dzień wypisu w bardzo niemiły sposób panie pielęgniarki dały mi (nam) 10 min na opuszczenie sali i spakowanie. 2 dni po operacji ciężko bez pomocy spakować się, przebrać i wynieść bagaż. Pomimo zakazu, musieliśmy sami wynieść swoje torby. Podejrzewam że był to początek moich komplikacji pooperacyjnych.

10 dni po operacji pojawiła się u mnie seroma/ hematoma w okolicy zszywek, w powłoce żołądka. Po kontakcie z lekarzem który operował, niestety nie otrzymałam żadnej pomocy, pomimo iż oferowałam, że umówię się na odpłatną wizytę zdalnie. Nawet jeśli nie wiele da się zrobić na odległość, to komfort psychiczny pacjenta również też jest ważny. Inny chirurg bariatra zajmuje się mną lokalnie, aby sprawdzić czy potrzebna jest interwencja chirurgiczna.
Szkoda, bo spodziewałam się trochę więcej zainteresowania ze strony kliniki i lekarza, gdy zabieg wykonuje się prywatnie/ odpłatnie

Zadowolony pacjent

Przyjechaliśmy z żoną na badania.Jesteśmy ubezpieczeni w sieci.Nasza ubezpieczalnia popełniła błąd w umówieniu terminu do lekarza wysyłając nam inny termin niż faktycznie było w placówce.Przyjechaliśmy z innego miasta i gdyby nie Pani Kasia z kardiologii to nasz czas i pieniądze poszły by na marne.Lekarz już zakończył pracę,ale Pani Kasia bardzo sprawnie i logistycznie doprowadziła sprawę końca.Wraz z żoną zostaliśmy przyjęci do lekarza 😊

Allurion Ballon didn't work

I had the most awful experience with this clinic. Not only treatment didn't work and I wasn't given the direct contact to the doctor when I asked for it because I had complications and vomited blood, but I was also advertised things which were not true and I was ignored when reached out to the clinic. I had Allurion Ballon inserted in January and it didn't work at all. I didn't loose even 1kg and I could eat completely normally with the gastric baloon. I didn't feel any difference besides the discomfort when I would lay on my stomach. It's very painful and uncomfortable for first few days. My friend who also did this treatment ( in London clinic) had the same experience. KCM Clinic is advertising a complex pre treatment diagnosis, but this doesn't actually happen at all. When I asked about this I was told some nonsense to stop me asking. When I emailed the Clinic, Allurion director and Clinic Director, complaining about the treatment they just ignored me and never replied. When I had Allurion Ballon inserted I was advised to get the same day on the plane. This shouldn't have happened and I suffered a lot of pain and complications. I was vomiting blood the next day. I was refused the direct contact with the doctor and I was told off unpleasantly to calm down and that this was just some stained fluids. When I send them the pictures of bucket with dark stomach blood they took me a bit more seriously and doctor dietician contacted me, telling this was not normal. I was prescribed more meds and gave some advice to start eating food sooner than originally mentioned. Phone Application, AI coach and smartch watch provided with the treatment didn't work properly either. I have evidence for all this which I sent to them in the email. Facebook support group they asked me to join, wasn't really a support group but more of a promotion for the Clinic. When I was vomiting blood and needed help, support and advice if this happened to anyone else, my post wasn't accepted by the group admins for about a week. I feel like the group is created to promote more treatments in the clinic rather than provide the promised and advertised post treatment support. I was also promised free transfer to Airport and free accommodation as I live in London. After I confirmed treatment this changed and I had to pay £100 for transport to airport and about £40 for the hotel. The expensive transport was a coach with 4 other passangers also paying £100 each. So basically they charged us £500 ( 2500zl!!!!) for an 1h30min journey to the airport. It's a joke. I feel completely ripped off and deceived with everything. I wasn't going to post this but I wish someone warned me, so hopefully this will safe someone else from doing the same mistake as I did.

1. You are saying I am still receiving support every day. We have not been in touch in months, so not sure what you are talking about. As for me not following the "diet" during the program- I didn't pay almost 15.000zl to follow a diet. I can do that for free. I followed the recommendations in the beginning, but when I realized that your gastric baloon wasn't working I started eating normally. The whole point of doing the expensive treatment is to be forced for 4 months to eat small portions to develop new habits. And eat just more nutrients in these small portions. The second I noticed balloon wasn't working and I could eat a lot as before I was back to the normal habits. Like I said in my email ( which you ignored) if you did any type of pre treatment consultation,or complex pre treatment diagnosis which you advertise on your website but don't do at all, then you would have been able to realize I wasn't suitable for the treatment. You never even checked how much I eat. How stretched my stomach is.. You just told me it was for everyone and took the money.
2. As for your response, that you take long to reply to my email and will do better in future, let's make it clear when I emailed you. It was 11th March 2024. That is almost 3 months ago.
3. I was told on the phone that accommodation and transport for people from UK was all free and included. Then that changed and I had to pay for it.
4. Facebook group wasn't a support when I needed it. Most posts on there are just advertising all the operations you can do in the clinic after you loose a lot of weight and have loose skin after. Also many posts are showing successful cases. But when I was vomiting blood and clinic wasn't very helpful, AI coach which I was told was better that doctors wasn't even working for 3 days, and I desperately posted on that Facebook Group asking if vomiting blood happened to anyone, my post wasn't accepted by admins for 7 days.

Thank you Agnieszka for your feedback, we would like to address some of the points you raised to clarify the facts:
1. situations where patients experience complications are a priority for us. Following the feedback we received, you had a conversation with our Dietician, followed by our Allurion Program Manager and finally even with the Medical Director of the Hospital. Like all other KCM patients - you received multi-disciplinary support from us during your weight-loss journey - and are still receiving it every day. Patients do not call Doctors directly. The patient has to call the Clinic's helpline in order to be transferred to the correct medical Specialist. It would be absurd for any Doctor to answer every phone call from all Patients of our Clinic - that not how the healthcare system works in any country - you always have you GP for general medical enquiries. We have also received information, both from the dietician and your Doctor, that you have not followed the recommended diet. Which, in the case of Allurion, is essential. On numerous occasions pre- and post your Allurion placement we highlighted the importance of maintaining a the recommendations.

2. Complaints and responses to emails: We apologise for the delays in responding to your requests if there where any. We will therefore make every effort to respond more quickly to any questions or problems raised by patients in the future.

3. Transport and accommodation costs: The price of the Allurion balloon was according to the website prices - we are very transparent and all prices are online. You ordered additional transport and had it organised by your coordinator.

4. Post-treatment support: The Facebook support group is a place where patients receive help and support and can share their experiences.
The basis in the Allurion programme is to follow the prescribed diet and lead a healthy lifestyle. We are here if you need us, Your KCM.

5 gwiazdek ze wskazaniem na Panią Katarzynę z recepcji kardiologicznej.
Przede wszystkim, to osoba o wysokiej kulturze osobistej, empatyczna, dobrze zorganizowana. Nastawiona na zaopiekowanie pacjenta i lojalna wobec pracodawcy.
Pani Katarzyna prowadzi obsługę niemedyczną kardiologii w szerokim zakresie. Jest zawsze na miejscu. Perfekcyjnie prowadzi swoją recepcję ( tak w zakresie dokumetacji jak i ustalania, i przypominania o terminach ), ale także koordynuje i łączy godziny wizyt lekarskich między innymi oddziałami przychodni.
Kulturalnie wprowadza spokój i porządek w sytuacji napięć pacjentów w poczekalni.
Pani Katarzyna, pomimo niełatwych zadań i wymagań, a także zmęczenia - jest fachowa, uśmiechnięta, skromna i serdeczna.
Dziękuję Pani Katarzyno. Dzięki Pani czułam się komfortowo, ufnie i bez zrezygnowania mimo nieprzyjemnych badań.

I travelled to KCM and had tummy tuck with liposuction with Dr Kierzynka. He made sure I understood everything clearly and took his time explaining to me and was very informative. I am delighted with my results. Dr Kierzynka came to see me couple of hours after surgery to make sure I was feeling okay and nurses came in regularly also, next morning Dr Kierzynka came into me again and had a good conversation with myself and my partner, I am delighted with my results and I want to thank you Dr Kierzynka as I wanted this procedure for such a long time and you have made it a great experience for me.

I want to thank Kim for all your help from start to finish, this has been my 3rd time to KCM and you have been so professional and friendly and superb service each time, from the start to finish and aftercare, Sara the hospital co ordinator looked after myself and my partner as he was getting dental work done, she was very friendly guided us through everything in the hospital and kept us updated on everything. Lovely girl.

Our driver Daniel gave myself and my partner great information on places to see close by around Jelenia Gora which was very useful infomation to us as we didn't know the area too well, he was very friendly and the service was great.

Thanks to all the nurses and hospital staff for all your help.

Przed zabiegiem zrobiono mi komplet badań.
Na konsultacje do poszczególnych lekarzy prowadził mnie asystent (nie musiałam szukać gabinetów sama).

Professional operation, more detailed information could be useful

The operation itself was professional. The outcome was positive.
The schedule of the measurement day (MRI, blood, heart, etc.) and operation day was a bit unclear and more info on these days could be useful for non-polish-speaking people. After the operation, the patient should have written instructions for the first 2 weeks. Traveling to Jelenia Gora is not the easiest one when you have back pain, since there is no airport in the town. Transport to the nearest airport was available.

Non invasive back surgery

Had surgery on Thursday 14th March with an implant put between L4/L5 having suffered pain and narrowing of the veribrae for 20 years, could have gone to Harley Street and paid £15000. In Poland the same procedure was around £5000. The surgeon has 20 years experience in spine surgery, so as somebody who is petrified around hospitals I felt in good hands. My Co ordinator kept in regular contact with me from around last November when I first heard of the KCM clinic she offered to arrange Hotel and flights the Hotel is right opposite the clinic excellent place to stay, very little English spoken but really friendly and helpful. Surgeon spoke to me for about 25 minutes prior to the surgery took all detailed information of my medical history. He had 12 of these type surgeries for that day, I was 11th on that list going up at Ten to Eight in the evening, woke up at Twenty to Ten. Surgeon paid a visit at 7am next morning had me up walking.. I had most of the stitches removed a week later, leaving Three in for an extra week. I spoke with the surgeon via a face to face call Five days after I got home and his physiotherapist a week after that. I am a month down the line now and need to be patient because the nerve that has been trapped for several years needs time to improve. All in all I'm happy that I chose the KCM they did what I asked and the clinic has great facilities and it is spotlessly clean and I would not hesitate to go back for further procedures if necessary.
