All the staff was great, caring and willing to do anything to make my stay at KCM be good

I felt safe and was treated amazingly from start to finish. My many questions were answered quickly, no matter how ridiculous they sounded. On arrival, I was greeted and driven straight to the hospital for a full MOT. Hospital staff, doctors and the chauffeur were fabulous and most spoke excellent English, which really helped.

Hier wird man Beleidigt.Nur weil man eine Kritik abgibt Am Telefon wird gefragt ob man alle nicht mehr hat.Nur weil man ein anderen Ansprechpartner haben möchte. Angeblich ist man ja Befreundet.Das ist ein Witz weder hat man die Person kennengelernt noch irgendwas anderes.
Und wenn man seine Meinung sagt wird einen gesagt
Das man so nicht mit Patienten arbeiten möchte.
Der Chef der Klinik ist nicht Kritik fähig.
Man wird dann bei der nachsorge
alleine gelassen.

I chose KCM clinic after hearing from a friend about her fantastic results from having a gastric sleeve.
My initial contact was Ryan who was helpful at guiding me through the procedure of booking and organising flights etc.
I decided on a date 3 weeks after my initial contact with Ryan.
I flew from Edinburgh to Prague when I was greeted by a friendly and professional driver.
This was on the Monday and my surgery was scheduled for the Tuesday.
My driver took me directly to the clinic when I was greeted by Kristof.
As soon as I arrived it was very obvious that there was a huge language barrier and I was told that my surgery was going to be done immediately after all of my preop tests were completed.
I must say that I was taken aback by this as I had prepared myself for to have surgery the following day.
All of the tests were carried out extremely efficiently.
My surgeon then met with me. She was very professional but possibly because of cultural differences didn’t display much empathy especially when it was obvious that I was very tearful at the prospect of having major surgery in a foreign country where there was not much English spoken.
At one point I actually considered seriously whether to proceed with my treatment.
However the surgery was carried out under General Anaesthetic.
I awoke in a comfortable bed with my face firmly bandaged.
I was given adequate pain relief and the nurses did attend when I needed them.
The next day the bandages were removed and I was told to have a shower .
Once this was done the surgeon briefly checked on me.
By lunchtime I was taken to The Mercure hotel which was really very good.
Ryan, my coordinator was great , checking in on me and reassuring me when I was feeling very upset at the whole experience. I actually don’t know what I would have done without his input.
Every morning I was taken to the clinic to have my dressings changed by Halina the nurse and also Anna who I would like to say a special thank you to for her kindness. She recognised that I found the whole experience very traumatic.
Fast forward to today.
A friend who is a nurse at home in the UK removed my sutures and said that a lovely job has been done.
So…. On hindsight I’m not sure if having major surgery in a foreign country is for me but I am completely delighted with my results.

This was my second visit. Surgery was great. Hospital was clean and staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend!

Get service from start, Kim answered all my many questions quickly and reassured me. Co ordintor and surgeon where great and explain everything. Everyone at clinic friendly and made u feel at ease.

I was very nervous about being in a different country for surgery. I was met at the airport by the driver, taken straight to the clinic. It was amazing, a full timetable of tests and seeing consultants all with enough time to get me from one room to the next. It was exhausting but I was tested from head to toe. Definitely worth it,as it put my mind at ease about possible complications from being overweight.
The nursing staff were amazing, I was taken care of so well. I asked for pain killers they were there a few minutes later.
It was lovely to be around other folk that had the same operation as I did, quite the little community we had.
I had more tests post op before discharge, to make sure I was ok to leave and fly home. All the discharge notes were in English. Driver took me to the pharmacy to collect prescription medication.
Again I had a taxi back to the airport.

Everything was thought of.
I couldn't fault KCM at all. The clinic and rooms were immaculate, amazing staff
The hotel was lovely, my husband enjoyed his stay there and said the food and service were fantastic.

I wish I had done this years ago.

A thoroughly satisfactory experience, from beginning to end. A very professionally run clinic with friendly staff who genuinely seem to care. For me, the gastric sleeve operation went without a hitch, no pain or any discomfort. Now, nearly 4 months on, 4.5 stones lighter and still loosing weight, my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner!

I had a very good experience at KCM clinic! Every staff member was really nice and ready to help. My surgery went really well and post op care was really good and caring. I don’t regret my decision to do my gastric sleeve surgery at KCM. My progress is so grate all thanks to KCM.

quality service from amazing staff, only thing that can be better is the beds. They are hard and uncomfortable after having an operation but it is the only thing I can complain about.

Anfangsgewicht Juni 2022 vor der OP 128 kg , Zwischenstand heute September 2022 96 kg , gute Betreuung ,gute Klinik , leider spricht man wenig deutsch nur vereinzelte Personen . Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem ganzen Ablauf .

I had Gastric sleeve operation, since the operation I have found no restrictions on my eating and have continued to gain weight. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Awesome staff and great service. Highly recommended.

Przyjecie bardzo cieple , konsultacja i zabieg odbyly sie swietnie i bez komplikacji. Doktor byl bardzo skrupulatny i nie spieszyl sie. Odpowiedzial na wszystkie pytania,doradzil, pozartowal i odbylo sie wszystko idealnie. Panie pielegniarki bardzo mile i serdeczne. Komunikacja ogolna , rowniez z konsultantem pomiedzy wizytami byla bez zarzutow. Poleacam KCM klinike ( Jelenia Gora )poniewaz da sie odczuc , ze personel wykonuj swoja prace z naturalnym zaangazowaniem i profesjonalizmem, pomimo trudnych zabiegow daja poczucie bezpieczenstwa i komfortu.... az chce sie wracac.
