My Iphone was hacked. The hacker held my phone ransom. It was necessary to clean my phone and establish a new email. I purchase ebooks on Kindle when they are recommended to me by friends. Thus, I believed the books would be available to read. I was informed by Kindle that they could not transfer the books as my Email had changed. Unacceptable!! The hacker took over my email, changed passwords, used my Amazon to buy iphones. Amazon was most helpful but Kindle, well……,,,,,

Not great value because if you don't renew your membership often you will lose the books you have purchased

Twee boeken besteld op uk amazon via Kindle. Betalingen werden afgehaald via mijn Master Card. Ik heb ze na meer drie weken nog niet ontvangen. Het waren twee boeken "manual coaching table tennis" level 1 and 2. Hoe kan ik Kindle aanschrijven voor een terugbetaling of levering. Adres was correct ingegeven en het land ook. Ik ben 46,xxEuro kwijt als ik de boeken niet krijg, dan is dit een scammerbedrijf

Be aware, kindle unlimited is not really unlimited.

Saw a deal for kindle unlimited, first 2 months for 99p a month then full price after, cancel anytime, so signed up.

Then when I go to download the books I want to read, most are not available to unlimited members.

So be aware, kindle unlimited DOES NOT mean you can read any book available on kindle.

I will be cancelling at the end of my 2 month 99p trial deal.

Don’t join kindle unlimited it’s a scam!! Not only is their platform a joke I mean over 2000 pages per book, 6-10 sentences per page. Your allowed to download as part of the subscription after a few books (once your into it) to continue your forced to buy the book if you want to continue reading book 1>31 out of 36 read to continue you have to buy - why are you not told this at the start then you can decide if you want to go ahead???

Kindle wirbt mit einem "unlimited" Abo. Ich hatte mich gefreut nun alle meine Lieblingsautoren herunterladen zu können. Leider mußte ich festestellen, dass man damit nur wenige Bücher, viele nur aus dem Englischen, ausleihen kann. Der Name "unlimited" ist irreführend, denn "Kindle limited" wäre passender. Dafür auch noch 12 Euro im Monat zu zahlen lohnt kaum.

In den Internet Testberichten wurde leider nirgendwo auf diese erhebliche Einschränkung hingewiesen.

Ho iscritto il mio libro al concorso Kindle Amazon Storyteller 2024. Ho messo il download gratis per incentivare i miei follower a scaricare e recensire. Fatto sta, che le recensioni sono boicottate, vengono pubblicate a singhiozzo, prima le stelle, poi, quando faccio notare tramite email che qualcuno mi ha detto di aver recensito, magicamente appare anche ciò che è stato scritto. Nessun problema ad approvare valutazioni negative anonime. Chi ha scaricato il libro non può recensire se non ha speso 50 euro, ma chi non lo ha letto può lasciare una stella per abbassare la media dei voti. Non hanno pubblicato la recensione di una persona che conosco, ho tanto di screenshot di recensione in attesa di essere accettata che mi è stata inviata dal lettore. Contatto di nuovo il servizio clienti, ma è come parlare col muro. Gradirei che qualcuno mi spiegasse perché ricevo un simile trattamento, a mio parere vergognoso. Zero stelle.

Praktisch sind der Farbtemperatur- und Helligkeitsregler; Schriftgrößeneinstellung schnell gemacht, mitgelieferte Wörterbücher Englisch und Deutsch hervorragend. Die Bibliothekssuche hingegen ist unvorstellbar chaotisch bzw. überhaupt nicht intuitiv und vergällt einem das Lesevergnügen. Akkuladung hält leider auch nicht übermäßig lang.

I hope this is the right category. I think Amazon’s Kindle is the best invention since baked bread. I already have the core of a good library, some from my own collection and others on Kindle. I have maybe a couple hundred books or large collections of books. I swear it would be difficult to find all of these books. “The Six Foot Bookshelf “ and “The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire” are vast…and science fiction…recommend.

Hello, when I was looking for P.D'Adamo's book on blood types, I started an unplanned purchase of 20 books that I had no intention of buying. So I am probably at 233 USD LOSS because amazon is almost impossible to contact. I can't cancel all 20 books AT ONCE, so far I've only been allowed to cancel 5 books, even though the purchase was made as one whole, I have to cancel each book separately, that is, 20 times.
I have neither books nor money, I am waiting for them to take pity on me and cancel the rest of the money. If not , this will be my last purchase on AMAZON.

Wir hatten insgesamt 5 Kindle. Drei aus den ersten Generationen, die heute noch funktionieren. Der neue Paperwhite 11. Generation ist dagegen nur noch Schrott. Erster gekauft 12/22, kaputt 9/23. Ersatz bekommen (Garantie), 2/24 wieder kaputt. Jedes mal funktioniert das Laden nicht mehr. Laut Internet ist das Problem bekannt und wird von Amazon nicht behoben. Nun kein Umtausch mehr da außerhalb der Garantie. Frechheit von Amazon, bieten als Entschädigung 15% Rabatt bei Neukauf an. So kann man Kunden auch verarschen. Schrott auf den Markt bringen und dann den Kunden zum Neukauf drängen. Nach dieser unfreundlichen Amazon Abwicklung werden wir jetzt umsteigen und Amazon Kindle den Rücken kehre. Kindle unlimited ist dann auch überflüssig und wird gekündigt.

I was forced to buy an update of the kindle, I couldn't download books on my old one anymore, amazon did this, I was very happy with my original kindle it was easy to use and never caused any problems, the books in my library were listed and easy to access. The kindle paperwhite is quite unresponsive, the screen freezes regularly, the pages run away and its very hard to get back to the right page, the library isn't easy to use, finding the book I want is tiresome. I wanted to use the new kindle to just download books and transfer them to my old one, which still works perfectly, but without a computer and a lot of faffing I can't do that. I am not happy. Amazon have made a kindle that worked well and I was happy with obsolete.

Love the Kindle Oasis and KindleUnlimited. Works well and easy to download books. Excellent selection of settings that can be adjusted for a comfortable, easy on the eye read. Great selection of books too. Only negative would be the battery life of the Oasis lasts a fraction of my old Kindle. Lasts longer if I keep it on Airplane mode. Amazon were great when my device stopped charging in warranty and sent a replacement.

Ho recentemente avuto un'esperienza negativa con il servizio clienti di Amazon Kindle. Mentre cercavo assistenza per un problema con un abbonamento, ho avvertito una mancanza di professionalità e rispetto da parte dell'operatrice, che mi derideva durante la nostra conversazione, addirittura metteva in dubbio le mie capacità cognitive, prsticamente un insulto,dicendomi che non sapevo contare, e se la rideva.
La situazione era già stressante, e l'atteggiamento del rappresentante del servizio clienti ha reso l'intera esperienza ancora più sgradevole. Sarebbe auspicabile che Amazon Kindle rivedesse l'approccio del loro personale per garantire un servizio clienti più rispettoso e professionale.
Spero che questa recensione possa contribuire a migliorare l'efficienza e la cortesia del servizio clienti di Amazon Kindle e che persone sgradevoli come questa Irma possano cambiare mestiere, per i futuri utenti.
