Per usarlo devi sempre essere tracciato con il telefonino. E per chi non ha il cellulare? non c'e' scritto nelle istruzioni che e' obbligatorio avere un telefonino, per poter usare il device. Mi sono sentita truffata. Voglio i soldi indietro

I bought a book over there and the experience was awesome. I accessed the book immediately after I paid. I highly recommend Kindle to everyone.

I have used a Kindle for some years and would find it hard to be without one if it decided to die. I have 2 at the moment but one device did start to die (also became difficult to revive) so I ordered a new one - a Kindle with built-in front light - as the pictures/spec details seemed the same as my existing ones.

Having to pay £79.99 so I could be without ads was irritating so I ordered the £69.99 version as reviews showed that it would be possible to lose the 'special promotions'. When I found that the cheaper one was not going to arrive for at least 3 weeks - despite my having Prime - but the more expensive would arrive the next day, I changed my order. Cynical way of making money. Beware. I accept that if this is your first e-reader its benefits might outweigh these faults.

When my Kindle arrived, it went straight back in to the packaging and was returned the next day. It is made of cheap plastic (I could have bought a cover for £25) and is smaller than my original Kindles: more difficult to hold.

Incidentally, my original devices were about this price so I expected the new one to be of similar standard.

NB This is not a review of the features as those didn't appear to be an awful lot different to all Kindles. Nor is it a review of Amazon as I like the ability to be able to return unwanted goods immediately and have found that when I've been able to contact them via ChatLine, they have been very good.

I love Kindle but it's such a pity that not everyone can afford it and that the availability is not universal.

Kindle Cloud is an absolutely useless reader, unbearable to use. I bought this very expensive book and now I'm stuck with this absolutely terrible program, I'm almost tempted to take screen-shots of the pages I want to read to get a better reading experience. Shame on you Amazon/Kindle!!!!!!.

Slow turning pages. I bought the most expensive oasis one and its just so slow its annoying especially if you want to go 10 pages back to read something.

My major issue is that it does not transfer pictures when transfering a pdf from my computer. This renders it useless for studying. I bought it for that, and for being able to get books in spanish and portuguese, and im still going to use it for the latter, but I regret buying amazon. They want to force their customers to buying through their website by making it a bad experience reading books from other sources. Can not recommend

Navigation is not logical. Books just bought don't appear in app. You just can't buy the samples you've read. You don't get a receipt per bought book. When you get Kindle unlimited beware that a lot of books are not a part of the offer. If it wasn't because there was no alternative, I would use a different app for buying books.

I just purchased my Kindle Paperwhite... The non-ad supported version. I had to wait several weeks for this to come in and I was excited because I was tired of holding my iPad for long periods of time when I was reading. When I received my Kindle, I was HUGELY disappointed. Here are 5 specific reasons why Kindle PaperWhite sucks in my opinion:

1. The UI is not intuitive. It's not easy to navigate, find a book, go back to a menu, know where you're at within a book, or how to find your way around in general.

2. You can only email pdf's to your Kindle if you want them stored in your Amazon archive. This allows you to sync your pdf files across all your devices. Otherwise you have to drag and drop your PDF directly onto your device, and then IT WON'T SYNC!!! STUPID! They don't give you the option to upload your PDFs to the cloud. Only email them... And only up to 50 MB each. Again, stupid.

3. They allow you to make "Collections" where you can organize your books. For examples, you can create a collection (or a folder) of autobiographies, and another for fiction. But these collections WILL NOT SYNC across your devices!!!! You have to create your collections on each device manually!

4. Whispersync doesn't work on their flagship product!!! You pay top dollar to purchase their nicest top-of-the line product, and they don't even have the capability of implementing their own feature set. Pathetic.

5. Their customer service sucks. Don't believe me, call them and find out for your self. Most of the time, the support person has to look up everything while they're on the phone with you. It's like they've never heard of the product.

I'm going to stick with my iPad. Save yourself the money and disappointment. Kindle is a HUGE letdown.

This paperwhite is a great product!! It is light, easy to read and I can easily hold it in any position while reading in bed. Very happy with my purchase!!

I like the kindle option when purchasing a book on amazon because it’s cheaper, you get to start reading right away and it’s right on your phone. I also like the offer of starting my book on kindle while waiting for my actual book to arrive

Once books are downloaded, it's all good.
And I can't and won't fault the prices, frankly £5 per eBook (average) for me is rather good.

However, their mobile menu is atrociously awkward and irritating.

Why, when u search for a specific series, do you get hundreds of other books to wade through before you see a glimmer of what you want to purchase???

Please tell not a scam it's very interesting and reduces stress

On the plus side - nice design and screen.
And then there's the horror:
Djvu, epub: Unable to Open Item - error!
pdf - books: Unable to Open Item.
When reading a book can scroll in random places or very fast - dozens of pages skips or vice versa - flip through 1 page need 2 minutes flipping, in general, a lot of bugs with reading books.
In the middle of reading can show an error Unable to Open Item.

Amozon kindle such a great idea for staying for studen and this provide very important subject books in low price so I will sajested a one time trying this

dont buy kindle. To import e-books to your devise is almost impossible - amazon make this impossible for you.
DONT BUY KINDLE.
