I cancelled my Amazon Kindle trial membership which I didn't even realize I took. Then Amazon did not register my cancellation and started charging monthly fees. I even cancelled my credit card as I believed my bank card was compromised. I was a happy Amazon client previously, but after this experience, I can no longer trust them.

I'm sitting in gatwiclass airport flight delayed so I got out my new paperwhite. RUBBISH! I see my library but to open any book apparently I need a wifi connection (!) So the good news is gatwick has free WiFi. The BAD news is kindle cannot connect : RUBBISH product from Amazon.

I am a customer of Amazon on line selling company.i forgot password and for reset company is asking security question of expiry of my specific Debit card I informed company it is lost company asked other questions like my home address pin code e mail address which I replied correctly now they are asking details of last order which is not possible to remember.i contacted several times on toll free number They do not showing any solution not allowing reset of password.lastly they blocked reset of password. I am a customer not able to get facility to even purchase agInst payment.They are not closing . my account
There is ancillary actiivity of prime movie T v show /They are accepting debit cards of 4banks only not relying debit card of even nationalized bank they are accepting credit card which every customer do not get.debit card is used when customer is having fund and more reliable.*as service provider company company should not insist specific card that ensure payment only.

I have a kindle and somehow. Managed to forget my Password and was unable to use any of the features to download or buy books. I called the helpline and it was sorted in less than ten minutes. I was not on hold for more than about 15 seconds and the customer service was outstanding. Really happy customer. Wish all companies had such prompt and helpful customer service.

I bought a Kindle Oasis and fully charged it. I do not use it excessively. The battery lasted 2 days. I complained and they replaced it. This time it lasted 3 days. I googled my problem and found I was not alone. A great many people have the same problem.

In my opinion this item is not fit for purpose.

Super easy to order books and they have most of the books I want. Having a Kindle is so easy when traveling, you basically bring your own library. I only wish I was able to "rent" books or pay monthly for free access to books since I read a lot. And it is sometimes annoying when I can't find a book I want. But then again, I can just buy that as a paperback. Would fully recommend this but only 4 stars because there could be some small improvements as mentioned.

Lo adoro. Unico problema, ordinare nuovi libri è troppo facile e si rischia di spendere senza controllo. Amo i libri di carta ma il kindle è super comodo.

Ordering is quite easy. Downloaded free Kindle reader app on my devices directly from the Amazon site. Loads of eBooks offer a free rpreview inside so you can try content first :)

kindle is my best friend and I carry it everywhere i go. Battery life is good even it is 5years old. It was a best buy i did. Really recommend. There is no better thing than reading and saving enviroment at the same time.

what a let down my kindle fire is,the most frequent words on my screen are silk browser is not responding do you want to close it , the most frequently used app facebook is now seven months out of date and still unable to update,hugely let down by Amazon and feeling forced to renew my tablet ,my advice is dont bother to anyone who is considering purchasing one ,you will soon find yourself left behind and let down.

I have a standard Kindle reader of the latest variety, with backlighting and page swiping. A very nice model, but it comes with serious unnecessary drawbacks, deliberately created by Amazon. It is the annoying Kindle book advertising that gets me. When the machine is switched off there is a screen saver always showing adverts. for book which are not of interest to me at all. I can just about live with that.

However that is not where their advertising ends. Every so often, WHEN YOU SWITCH ON, instead of the book you are reading, another of their pesky adverts. appears. Worse still there is no button to get rid of it unless you send them your email address. When I switch my Kindle on, it's because I want to read. I don't want to spend at least 5 minutes switching on and off trying to get rid of their dreadful pop-up.

I thought that by switching off my internet connection I could put a stop to this awful advertising. You could do that with earlier models, but there is no on/off wi-fi button any more, so you are expected to put up with it.

My suggestion to anyone reading this is DON'T BUY A KINDLE. There are other readers on the market, with sellers who have a decent ethical approach towards their customers, which Amazon lacks.

I have been an Amazon Kindle customer for a couple of years now, and I recently upgraded to Kindle Unlimited membership as well. They offer a wide selection of both eBooks and paperbacks/hardbacks. There are free books and also books as low as .99. You can find everything from the newest best sellers by well-known and/or famous authors to works by self-published first-time authors. There's fiction and non-fiction in virtually any and every niche and genre under the sun.

Ordering is very easy. You can download the free Kindle reader app on any device(s) you choose, directly from the Amazon site. They keep a library of all of your orders in your account that you can view at all times. Many eBooks offer a free "peek" inside so you can sample the content.

Amazon Kindle customer service also contacts you to see if you'd like to review any of the books you've read. The only reason I gave it foujrs tars instead of five, is because there has been one or two incidents where I left a review for a book I purchased and they deleted my review and wouldn't let me review it over again. The"reason" I was given was vague, not very clear and didn't make sense, nor did it seem fair to me. But that was only once or twice. Every other kindle book review I have ever left is still posted on the site to this day.

They offer the option of signing up for Kindle Unlimited for about ten bucks a month and you can read many paid eBooks for free. It is considered "borrowing" though. You can also "lend" an eBook of your choice to anyone else you know who also has a Kindle reading app.

All in all, I personally feel that it's a nice site with good service and I'll continue to use it in the future.
