I cannot emphasize enough how horrendous my experience with Theodore and Alicia from Nottingham-based agency "Leaders" has been. This agency is a textbook example of how not to run a business, treating their clients with utter disregard and callousness. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to steer clear. Here's a summary of my nightmarish encounter with them:

**1. Nonexistent Communication:**
One of the most glaring issues with Leaders is their complete lack of communication. They are remarkably efficient when it comes to collecting payments, but when it comes to addressing concerns or providing the services they promised, they disappear into thin air. It's as if they believe that once they have your money, they owe you nothing in return. Emails and phone calls go unanswered, and any attempt to reach out for assistance is met with indifference.

**2. Misleading Property Descriptions:**
Theodore and Alicia showcased properties with pictures that appeared enticing at first glance. However, the grim reality upon moving in was a far cry from the images they portrayed. The properties were plagued with damp, mold, and numerous other issues that posed a threat to our health and safety. When these concerns were brought to their attention, Leaders refused to accept any responsibility and offered no assistance whatsoever. It's clear that their primary objective is to deceive and mislead clients to secure a quick deal.

**3. Legal Hassles and Rent Refunds:**
To address the abhorrent living conditions they subjected us to, I was left with no choice but to file a complaint with the council. The battle doesn't end there, as I now find myself constantly chasing their elusive legal team to secure the refund I am owed. This ordeal has not only been emotionally draining but has also cost me significant time and money, all thanks to Leaders' complete lack of professionalism and accountability.

**4. Deceptive Use of WhatsApp:**
Adding to the litany of issues, Leaders' employees Theodore and Alicia resort to using WhatsApp for communication. However, when you attempt to reference these conversations as evidence of their promises or commitments, the agency conveniently disavows any connection to these communications, claiming that WhatsApp is their "personal" means of contact. This blatant deceit is indicative of the agency's overall approach to client relations.

In conclusion, I cannot stress enough how much you should avoid dealing with Theodore and Alicia at Leaders in Nottingham. This agency has demonstrated a complete lack of ethics, accountability, and professionalism. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I implore anyone reading this review to heed my warning and find a reputable agency that values its clients and upholds its commitments. Leaders in Nottingham should be avoided at all costs.

Absolutely horrendous company!! All they care about is filling their own pockets!! Since moving in 5 months ago I have been reporting a mould issue and rotten floor boards but they don’t care as long as you keep paying your rent they will just fob you off! Absolute shock I’m still waiting for this to fixed. They don’t seem to care to much that my partner is pregnant and breathing in mould every day either!

I was also meant to have an inspection which they didn’t turn up. I’m now out of pocket. Excuses after excuses. Avoid

We are just finalising our application and the level of attention and kindness has been excellent so far. We are dealing with Tom Hallam, Senior Lettings Consultant.

The worst letting agency I’ve ever come across in the UK. They try to steal the most out of you. Knowing that we were international students and that we were in a hurry, we were made to pay 25% more than the actual rent for the house. Their service of providing the keys on the agreed date was worse. We waited for 4 hrs outside their office just to get the keys. They also lured us to the property saying the bills were included in the rent only to then deny that on the day before we agreed to rent the property, knowing that we had no where else to go at this point of time. At the end of tenancy, the agency worked with the landlord to scrap out 550 pounds off of each of the 5 tenants summing up to a staggering ~2.5k pounds worth of repairs, where we estimated the amount to not cross 1000 pounds. This is this just criminal. Highly recommended to not deal with these guys.

My experience with Leaders has been nothing but seamless, from: communication, viewing the property, the application process and moving in. I do have to give credit to Owen Gough, who has been the agent behind the emails and phone calls - he’s massively supported me and been so helpful. I’m really pleased with the smooth transition of moving with Leaders

We found our flat in Nottingham with the support of Mr Tom’s customer service in a very short time. I love the way I was attended to… these guys are professional. Thank you Tom you have been sooo amazing

Very helpful and mostly straight forward, I get yo move in to my new place on Wednesday after a tragic accident at my home ,very understanding people. Helped me with communication to the landlord .thanku Tom for all the help.

Moved on 3 years ago and had two years of a faulty boiler leaks in the roof causing holes in our chimney breast a leak from the shower causing holes in our kitchen ceiling and black mould on a bedroom and utility room all reported in our annual review, to top this off I found the property on right move without being told we had to move out I called and was told a section 21 was sent to the incorrect email and no letter had been delivered back in April when it was apparently issued , I was told I would receive a call with a explanation of why no letter had been sent but still nothing from them, would not recommend leaders at all they do not care the landlord doesn’t care and now I have less than a month to find a home for my family including my 2 year old

We have had a great experience at the Nottingham branch in woodthorpe. Thanks to Tom and Theo for helping us find such a beautiful home. Tom told us about the rental property and Theo sealed the deal! Good experience with these guys, looking forward to moving in

We have such a bad experience with other agents so highly recommend Leaders.

THEY WON'T GIVE YOUR DEPOSIT BACK- I finally ended my contract with Leaders on the 30th of Nov 2022, the landlord is happy to realize my deposit, however, Leaders isn't giving it back when they don't have any REASON to keep it. Now I have to get solicitors to get my deposit back. I have complained about Leader so many times, Leaders manager doesn't take any customer's complaints seriously and they DONT CARE. AVOID this company if you dont waste your time and money.

Please avoid dealings with leaders Nottingham, horrible experience all through. Deal with them at your own risk.
Horrible experience getting a house to rent through them. The credit control team are also very laid back as they keep message me about arrears when my payment is up to date. I called them to rectify this yet they keep tormenting me with debt messages just because some one has refused to do his/her job.
I do not recommend this company at all. Nothing pleasant about LEADERS NOTTINGHAM.

I wouldn't recommend the office at Nottingham at all. Horrible experience. Unprofessional, dishonest and incompetent at managing our property. Inconsistent property reports, done randomly when anyone can be bothered. Failure to inform us of issues arising from our tenants, insisting 'well they probably won't do it anyway' rather than even giving us an option. Reluctance handing over original receipts and secretive over huge extra fees added. Ever changing staff in an intimidating office environment where they message each other behind your back rather than talking to you or each other. No response from emails. Connor Pritchard doesn't deserve the position he has here. Provocative and poor attitude led to a very stressful situation.

I am writing this to commend Janette Hogg for her services in my house purchase. This was the most difficult situation for all those involved in the chain (except those at the top). Yet, Janette did everything she could to get the sale complete. She fielded constant phone calls and emails from both me and further up the chain. Whilst most of the process was out of Janette’s hands, she would always do her best to try and chase and try to get things moving. She went above and beyond her role. Importantly, she empathised considerably with the parties affected by the difficult situation. I can not thank her enough for her support throughout the process. Please give her a raise.

Would give them 0 stars if this was an option! Looking to rent a property in a new area, explained we are travelling 3 hours to view and they assured me that they will complete all viewings prior to proceeding with an applicant. They have rung up 2 hours before the viewing when I am already nearly 2 hours into the journey to say they have just taken a holding deposit and the viewing is cancelled....

Nottingham Branch- Awful. Avoid at all costs.
1. postponed move in by 2 weeks as they hadn't checked the property.
2. left me homeless for 2 nights because they didn't get paperwork signed on time.
3. 16 days in my new property and cant lock my front door which they haven't sorted.
4. Unresponsive when you email/call them
5. dishonest about the condition of the apartment prior to move in
6. Haven't stuck the deadline of dealing with my lengthy, valid and official complaints.
Honestly they have caused me untold stress in a time which is supposed to be happy, I beg anyone reading this to avoid this company at all costs.
Also, I DO NOT APPREICATE THE GENERIC ROBOT RESPONSE AND I HAVE CONTACTED YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL TO NO AVAIL.
