The new battery will not charge
The new battery will not charge. The charger and operating system test good. The battery charge did not increase at all after 48 hours connected to the charger. Support was terrible. They requested photos, videos, and then told me I need to "fully charge (more than 12 hours) and discharge it to 5%-10% for 3~5 times ... before use." This after I told them that it would not charge at all.

I visited this website due to its high ratings but....
I visited this website due to its high ratings, and I found the battery I needed at half the price compared to Lenovo's official site. It was delivered with the essential installation tools, including two screwdrivers, which I appreciated. However, when I attempted to install it, I discovered that it didn't fit correctly because the holes didn't align. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed that I had ordered the incorrect version of the battery; there was an A version and a B version, a distinction I was previously unaware of. This critical information would have been more helpful at the outset. After clarifying this detail, their response was to suggest placing a new order for the urgent part, while asking me to hold onto the incorrect battery temporarily. They promised to send the return address and process a refund once they were ready.
Despite wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, I found their request to keep the wrong battery temporarily rather suspicious. Later, I received another email asking me to hold onto the battery for a bit longer due to adjustments in their local warehouse, with a promise to contact me about returning it within 15-30 days. While it's just $40, the situation still feels unsettling.

The battery didn’t fit my laptop
The battery didn’t fit my laptop. When I asked if I could return it, I was told to keep it but was not told if I could get a refund. I was told to send a bunch of pictures and that it was the wrong size. Do they even have the right size??? Was never told anything else.

Grateful for the bigger battery
Grateful for the bigger battery. It doesn't improve the battery time a whole lot, but it still helps. The only complaint I have is that the part that I plug into the battery port on the laptop had notches on top that the original did not. So, I had to shave those down for the plug to work. Other than that it was very easy and useful.

Great price on genuine Lenovo batteries
With Lenovo requiring genuine batteries in their laptops and reading about the fakes out on the market and getting a laptop with a fake battery in it from eBay I was concerned buying this battery. Thankfully it works great and was accepted by the firmware. I would have given 5 stars except the shipping took forever to go from California to Colorado. I could have shipped it by pony express faster. I think it is because you use DHL to get it to USPS. I have gotten packages from the east coast faster when shipped only through USPS. Other than the shipping I am very pleased.

i can't charge my X1 laptop unless the computer is turn on. battery life is not as good as i expected. probably 4 hours for work(maybe 10% of time on youtube)

Good Shopping Experience, Decent Battery Life
The battery arrived in a good amount of time without any issues. Installation was easy and relatively straightforward (I did it in about 15 minutes without any prior experience in servicing my laptop at home).
Only drawback is that the battery life is good but not great (my old battery wouldn't run w/o being the charger being plugged in, so this was still a step up). I can usually get about a day's worth of active use out of a charge before I need to plug it in again.

Battery works, some Windows 10 battery status issues
After just installing the battery it seems to work. I'm using a windows 10 operating system. The battery icon doesn't recognize the battery however after unplugging the cord the computer is still running -yay! I've tried troubleshooting and updating drivers but I still don't have a status for how charged my battery is from the laptop. It would be good if lenovobatt could address operating system work arounds to have this error resolve or acknowledge that this software issue cannot be resolved. I'm aiming to dualboot to linux and hopefully there error will go away on the other operating system, but a workaround for windows 10 would be appreciated. For now I'm offering a 4/5 +- depending on the next month performance.

Great product but received phishing emails after purchase
The product was easy to install, came with everything needed to do the replacement, and arrived on time and safely. Why the 4 stars vs 5? Within hours of using my PayPal account to make my purchase from Lenovobatt I started receiving MANY phishing emails using “PayPal receipt” as the title for an included link. Until this purchased, I had NOT used my PayPal account in years. Thank goodness I know better than to open the link. I sent Lenovobatt an email about the phishing emails, asking if they sell personal information to other parties. The response I received days later was “our records show your order was shipped and delivered….” They have yet to respond to my phishing email inquiry.
