They were great on my initial phone query about their product followed by my purchase call. I had a query to follow up after my purchase and the same young gentlemen were extremely helpful. Bought these to replace my Nest system, didn’t really need the online functionality just the linking. Linking the extras was straightforward and the remote control for testing/silencing worked as expected, Now have the added bonus of a heat alarm in the kitchen and a carbon monoxide alarm linked in also. The linking covers a good distance too as have one in an out building.

I bought the LINKD Smart range to replace my Nest Protect alarms that were expiring and which Google had discontinued in 2025. I took this opportunity to increase the number of alarms in the house/garage to seven using a combination of mains and battery powered devices, which were easy to install and link. The only issue I had was in connecting the Gateway to my router, which customer services easily sorted. The Gateway can timeout as you input and check your router passkey, so typing it into Word, then cutting and pasting into the SmartLife App gets round this. The App does not have the breadth of functionality of the Nest App, but it works well enough.
