My daughter doing a good progress, she talks more clearly and feels more confident. Our speech therapist does a great job and updates us with her progress.

I am a Speech and Language Therapy student who completed a clinical placement with Liverpool Speech Therapy. Every member of the team was compassionate, knowledgeable, and welcoming, and they made me feel like a valued part of their team. LST was a lovely company to be placed with, as I had the opportunity to develop both my professional and personal skills throughout the experience.

I learned so much from each therapist, which has prepared me for managing my own caseload in the future. I am incredibly grateful for their clinical expertise and observed an abundance of evidence-based practice through the outstanding therapy they deliver. The team supported me in developing the skills needed to administer assessments and interventions independently, and they were always willing to offer guidance and encouragement.

The work they do makes a significant difference in the lives of the children they support and they have made a lasting impact on mine as well.

We had a staff training from Louise and Georgie on blank levels. It was fantastic! They were so professional, so well organised and staff from across the school came away with greater knowledge and ideas that could be used in the classroom the next day. Our school has worked with Liverpool Speech Therapy for over 3 years and I couldn't recommend them more.

My experience with Liverpool speech therapy has been amazing. Sophie Humphries My girls speech therapist has been wonderful. I can’t |recommend her enough. She is kind, patient and amazing at her job. The growth my two girls with autism have showed working with Sophie has been life changing!

Liverpool Speech Therapy has been part of our team at Freshfield Primary School for a number of years now. Their dedication, expertise and genuine care has made a profound difference. The team working here at Freshfield have all taken their time to understand each child's individual and unique strengths and needs by talking with staff and parents and completing observations alongside their formal assessments. The team delivers personalised therapy that is effective and engaging, which the children love! They offer practical strategies to staff which can be used daily with our children.
The team is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled and they have shared their expertise with our staff through CPD, this has upskilled our staff and given them the confidence to deliver effective approaches across both our SEND Unit and mainstream classes.
The team has also offered coffee mornings for parents, which has been bespoke to the needs of our school, this has been hugely successful.
Parents and staff are delighted with the advice they receive as this allows them to continue support between therapy sessions.

Louise has made both myself and my son at ease due the whole process from the first phone call to the assessment .

Louise is a great therapist, she is warm and genuinely cares about the work she does and for the children. My son enjoyed his sessions with her and he has improved so much that he was discharged from their services.

Louise has helped my daughter Evie with her speech and language within her school setting - Evie began speech and language with extremely poor word pronunciation and would get extremely frustrated when trying to communicate with her family and friends and none of them would be able to understand her, but since Louise has been helping her she has come on leaps and bounds! She is so confident within her speech now and will just chat and chat for hours on end and have full conversations jumping from topic to topic! I honestly never thought the day would come and now she has finally been discharged - what a massive impact Louise has had! I can not thank Louise enough for all her support and hard work!

Speech therapy has been amazing for my daughter she has come on leaps and bounds just in the last couple of months and we have seen a massive improvment with her confidence! Will be forever grateful to all who helped Emily get to the point were she is today.

My child met with Louise from Liverpool Speech Therapy. What can I say about the service?, a truly professional friendly service doesn’t come close to the support she provided. My child accessed speech and language through high school.
My child was struggling in school, wasn’t speaking, struggled daily to go into school and lessons, shut down and became selectively mute.
Louise met with my child and from day one the transformation was clear. There was a support plan quickly put in place and my child began to slowly gain confidence with the support from teachers and support staff with the guidance that Louise provided my child began to very slowly speak to selected teaching and support staff.
As a parent, my child was suffering, wasn’t communicating, daily not wanting to go in to school or lessons and was sad and unhappy. It was consuming, I did not know where to turn. The support Louise gave me and my family was invaluable. Louise communicate at the end of a session, allowed me to share any concerns, listened and gave me space to share any worries, I found that incredibly supportive and I can’t thank Louise enough. Louise took the time during our telephone conversation to ask questions about my childs interests and likes. This helped my child feel safe and able to begin talking with Louise.

I asked my child what they thought about meeting Louise: I enjoyed going, she was nice, we talked about my cat and I showed her pictures.

Siobhain and Sophie have been great to work with. Both are very professional, supportive of both staff, parents and the children. I would highly recommend Liverpool Speech Therapy to anybody.

It has been a pleasure working with Siobhain, she has worked so hard and made such a huge impact helping children at our school. Over the past couple of years, she has provided me and the other staff with support and guidance. She will be really missed by me, the children and the staff at our school.

Our Attention Autism training, delivered by Siobhain O’Connor, was fantastic and gave us a solid understanding of the intervention and the impact it can have. Thanks to Siobhain we now have the confidence and skills to implement this session from September!

Louise worked so well with my 11 year old son. She recognises his strengths as well as areas where he needs support and the challenges he faces, she really understands him. Louise is proactive in communicating with me / parents and has helped my son to develop strategies to communicate when it feels difficult for him to do so eg when he doesn't understand what is asked of him in class and is unsure how to ask for help.
Louise has identified areas for further assessment that can help with future support as he grows into adulthood.
I wish we can work with her again as he starts his secondary school.
