London City Airport Avaliações 

London City Airport is usually my fave UK airport because it’s compact , efficient and close to where I live. Sadly my impressions were let down today by a very aggressive and highly unprofessional Oversize luggage clero. Checked my bicycle in at 9:45 am Friday 7/3/25. The woman complained at the size of oversize bags and their weight! She proceeded to slam the door shut. A case of wrong person doing the wrong job to the detriment of travellers.

Small efficient convenient airport, no need to take out cosmetics and laptops from luggage and as a result security is super fast. Also no endless walking to the gates due to its small size, conveniently located in London so easy to get to London destinations, DLR station literally next door. Limited choice of shops, but I don't care I just want to get to my destination!! Wish there were more flights, will use this airport when I can.

Absolutely brilliant airport. Staff friendly and incredibly helpful. Food choices good. Spotlessly clean. Special shout out to Michelle in Customer Care team who went above and beyond. Wonderful experience 👌

Fast and very efficient airport. Being a small airport, it’s super fast to get through security and the ground staff are friendly and helpful which is refreshing! There aren’t many shops but that’s expected being a small mostly business user airport. I’ve flown for business and for holidays and found it easy and straight forward each time. The seats in the waiting area have a variety of power outlets so any delays or early arrival at the airport means your devices can be charged up.

I would like to compliment and commend Tina, at security.
My husband, has a brain tumour, which requires medical equipment (including lithium batteries ) to be carried with him at all times.
Tina, gave exceptional customer service.
Put us at ease,arranged everything for us to go smoothly through security.
We would like to personally thank her,together with London City Airport for their outstanding efforts.

I was sick and vomiting (the joy of pregnancy). She kindly took care of me as if I was her child, sat me on a chair, put a bin out, gave me coke to have some sugar and carried my luggage to the gate. I really appreciated it and it made my day. Thank you Tina for taking care of me the way you did, it was very professional and caring. Have a safe journey! Alice

I need assistance as walking distances are too far. The assistance team are fantastic as are facilities at the Airport and passing through Security and Immigration was a good experience. What I would like to see is a café nearer the Assistance waiting area once through Security and an investment in air bridges, I wouldn't use LCY between November and March because of this, it's too cold and unpleasant.

Landed here on Monday evening and first time I’ve used this airport. Super fast from plane to passport control to baggage area. Train station right there too. So easy will definitely be using this airport again!

I would like to thank the airport security team at London City Airport, particularly Barbra from the security team. Last week, I was unable to check my Luggage in, as I was running late for my flight. Therefore I had to take my bag through Security. Barbra noticed the concern on my face when my Bag was stopped at Security for having liquids in excess of 100ml. I explained I was running late for my flight. Barbra then prioritised my Bag and asked me to check the flight Board whilst she reviewed the contents in the bag. She then put my Liquids of 100ml to the side and informed me that she will "leave the liquids on the desk and I could come back and collect them if I did not make my flight" . However I was able to make my flight before the gate closed and wouldn't have been able to make the flight had kind not been for the kindness and diligence shown by Barbra.

Most of the times I have rather good experiences with London City Airport, but not that time. A flight for the entire family was booked months in advance to visit family overseas for Christmas. When check-in opened, I wasn't able to do so online. Thus, I had to do this in person the next day before departure. I was told that "more seats have been allocated than are available on the plane". The person didn't even say that the flight was overbooked. It was outrageous to learn about this at the airport, after traveling for a long time with all our luggage, especially after having booked tickets months in advance.

Always easy airport to use. Pretty efficient. But - womens toilets have needed deep clean, servicing and upkeep clearly for long time. Security now has great new liquids/ elec scanning and seem now even more officious and on my visit in quiet time clearly rejecting large % of baggage to check by hand for little reason. Mine included. I had loads of time so really didn’t mind but nothing ‘wrongly’ packed and clearly otherwise there would have been no queue. At least 30% rejected as I waited to be checked. Shame as otherwise not bad at all. Seats in departures ripping and showing it’s age and high use. Needs some investment.

Great airport, quick and efficient. Conveniently connected with the underground system to London so that helps a lot. Might not be as nice as the bigger airports but perfect if you want something fast and close to the city. With liquids allowed it's even better and the security checks are fast. No issue with my connection to Zurich last week.

Horrid experience. They let passengers walk down the stairs, but closed the doors to board the plane. Which means pregnant women were stranded with no air and fumes coming from the ventilator for 20min before finally plane refuelled and doors were opened. I do not think it’s health and safety and very considerate towards pregnant passengers

The journey through the airport was fine until we arrived at the gate. We were then told due to the bad weather extra fuel was needed to take off and the plane couldn’t take off with a full flight due to the short runway. My husband and I were off loaded along with eight other passengers. We were then shown to BA’s customer services desk and left to fend for ourselves. No other flights available and a very expensive Easter break in Florence ruined.

Just landed earlier that scheduled. Decided to wait in airport for safety, however have been asked to leave building as they are shutting the airport!! We are two older ladies and it is cold and dark out and nobody is about. Feeling most uncomfortable!!!!

Awful. Made to take a jumper off at security and barely had anything under it. Then as I objected they passed the jumper to be swabbed, just because I protested. Of course nothing on it or wrong with it. Are they really allowed to ask you to take clothes off in public?!?
