Loyal customer no more – MAAP's quality is a disaster
I used to love MAAP, but the brand has completely gone downhill. My Team Evo Bib tore in the mesh back after just 6 rides. One of their baselayers ripped on the front after maybe 15 wears. Then I received a Training 3.0 bib with a strap sewn on twisted – seriously? Customer support was cold, unhelpful, and unwilling to make it right. For premium prices, this is unacceptable. I'm done with MAAP.
Schlechter Kundensupport
Ich hatte leider eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung mit dem Kundenservice dieses Shops. Mir wurde eine Rückerstattung meines Store Credits zugesichert, die bis heute nicht erfolgt ist. Auch die versprochene Bestätigungsmail habe ich nie erhalten, weshalb ich nun eine Frist setzen musste. Die Kommunikation war mangelhaft, und ich musste jeden Schritt selbst dokumentieren, da keinerlei Transparenz gegeben war - alles nur im Live Chat (ohne Kopie an Mail). Insgesamt eine schlechte Einkaufserfahrung. Ich kann den Shop leider nicht empfehlen.
No delivery
Unfortunately, my experience with MAAP was quite frustrating. The products have not been delivered, and we are stuck with local shippers with no progress. I have asked the support team to provide any contact details for the shipper to understand the situation, with no Luck.
Terrible customer support
Living in Germany I placed an order with MAAP online and returned the item at my own expense. According to DHL, the package was successfully delivered to their warehouse (official return adress). I've been in contact with several “support” representatives for three months now – but I still haven't received my refund.
Despite multiple inquiries, no one is willing to sign the affidavit stating that they supposedly did not receive the package.
The customer service is terrible, there's no willingness to resolve the issue – so I’ll be choosing a different brand in the future.
Very disappointing for a premium brand
I had high hopes when ordering from MAAP, but unfortunately my experience was quite frustrating. The products are very expensive and delivery costs are also high, which I was willing to accept initially. When my original package was stolen, MAAP were actually very helpful and supportive, something I really appreciated.
However, things went downhill when I ordered a replacement. I was told I couldn’t send it to the original address, which I understood, so I used a new one but unfortunately, I got the postcode wrong. As soon as I realised, I got in touch to ask for help. At that point, the support was extremely limited. I spent hours on hold and chasing both Royal Mail and MAAP, but MAAP refused to engage or even contact Royal Mail on my behalf.
I completely acknowledge the mistake was mine, but I was disappointed that MAAP wouldn’t offer any assistance. Many other businesses are happy to help in these situations, especially as Royal Mail tends to be more responsive to the sender than the recipient. For a premium brand, I expected a bit more care and customer support.
Order cancelled with no explanation
Paid £14 for express delivery. After a week of waiting I received an email to confirm that my order cancelled. No explanation was provided as to why it was cancelled. Still awaiting refund.

Product fit is extremely non-standard (ie small.
I ordered a cycle jacket online, going for a size large based on the online size assessment tool, and also the fact I am usually either a medium or large. The jacket arrived, and seriously I could not believe how small it was - I could not even get it to close - so in normal sizing, id say it was a small, not a large.
Having sent the jacket back weeks ago, I am still waiting a response with regards a credit I can use for another product. This is really bad service, and that, along with the sizing glitches (which mean you cant trust online orders), means it is not a company I would choose to buy from in future. Disappointing, esp considering this is meant to be a premium product (and priced as such)

I always have a great experience with MAAP customer service. My husband and i have bought lots of stuff from MAAP and their items are truly of great quality. Thanks to Aaron for sorting me out today with regards to my bibs. I look forward to purchasing more MAAP items in the future. FYI i have a lot of Rapha items as well but prefer MAAP because of their designs and the jerseys are of a better quality than Rapha.

POOR quality product
Purchased a pair of shorts on sale, end of November and by end of February the stitching on both sides started coming out. Please note, I wash all my cycling gear as indicated and never had any issues with Castelli, Rapha or Universal Colours equipment. How can a premium item have such quality issues after just 3 months of lightly using indoors?? Customer service's Lucy (based in India) was arrogant and refused to arrange a replacement and offered a refund which will not be enough to cover the cost of a new item. First and last time I am buying Maap products. Avoid!!
Absolutely infuriating experience
Absolutely infuriating experience! I ordered a gift for my spouse, and these people only sent part of it—on top of a massively delayed delivery. When I reached out to customer support, I was treated with shocking rudeness. They claimed they’d already refunded my money and even sent me a letter about it. Guess what? NO refund, NO letter—just lies! To make it worse, all of this came to light on Christmas Day. Thanks for ruining the holiday! This company is a complete disaster—avoid them at all costs!
Absolutely terrible customer service - DO NOT USE
Wanted to buy a gift for my sister as I know she has a few bits from MAAP. I chased them up as I hadn't received my item after 3 weeks and was told it was being held in Birmingham. I asked when I was going to get my item and they told me I had to go to Birmingham to collect it. I live in Exeter!!!!!! I told them they had to cancel my order and this took even longer. Absolutely terrible company and will advise anyone not to buy from here. Just isn't worth it.

Yep, all the bad reviews regarding apalling customer service are accurate. Be careful when ordering from these cowboys. The product is good if you manage to get your hands on it correctly. Don't order from them! I ordered 2 jerseys and they cancelled my order syaing they had no stock! Still waiting for a refund.

very good after-sales service. They take your problem very seriously. Always friendly and nothing is too much for them. I can recommend Maap to everyone👌
Nonexistent customer support
Absolutely disgraceful unavailable customer support. It is 3.5 months and 30+ emails (many initiated by me due to no response in weeks) and I still haven’t even received a refund for my simple return of 2 jerseys.
Do not buy from their website, rather buy from some reseller with actual customer support.
Worst customer service in that price range ever…
I was and sometimes still am really excited about MAAP. Their jerseys have a great look and for me personally they fit very well.
But unfortunately MAAP has the worst customer service ever. They don’t reply to your mails when you have questions about your returns. It takes forever for them to register your return or even refund your money.
I personally think it’s a not acceptable customer service, especially regarding the price range of their products.
For me this was unfortunately the last time buying from MAAP because it’s simply not worth all the trouble that comes with buying stuff from them…

Dreadful customer service.
Dreadful customer service when trying to return an items for a refund. This has happened twice now and will never use Maap again..
First time basically told I was lying about the usage of a faulty garment, which was super insulting. Item was used a handful of times while riding and began to fall apart at the seams.. literally!
Second time - a month later I’m still trying to get a refund on a simple ‘item didn’t fit’ return process, and in the middle of very inconsistent customer service.
Great design and fit
MAAP offers cycling apparel with outstanding design and quality. Their products are stylish and perform exceptionally well. However, their customer support needs improvement, especially during high-demand periods like their Mid-year sale. Overall, MAAP is a great choice for high-performance cycling gear.
