I have been a long time customer with MAAP and found their products worth the money (bibs/jerseys/socks) however recently had a tear in the long sleeve Evade jersey after only wearing it 4 times. Photo of the defect and email sent with no response Follow up emails also no response. Now going on one month and I presume no action will be taken. Despite the fit and quality of their products, I will shop elsewhere

I have had positive experiences with MAAP in the last months. Two months ago I ordered a cycling bib short and after a few rides some stitches of the hem came loose, nothing major. I e-mailed MAAP and they sent a replacement the day after my e-mail.
Furthermore, their cycling jersey really feels like a quality item. I'd prefer it over the likes of Rapha and Assos.
The only point of improvement I can think of is that their sizing guide is not completely correct, I needed to order one size up compared to what was advised.
Customer service is inexistent
I should return two pieces that are not in the right size. After like 10 emails they sent me a link to print a label to return the items. But this link does not work. I cannot even print a return label. Help doesn't exist. All my emails are ignored. Customer service is totally inexistent.
Long term customer lost...no customer service or refund
I've been a long-term MAAP customer, but that's going to change :-( I loved the jerseys, colours, and design, but it seems things are getting more and more expensive every year, probably at the expense of customer service.
Yes, cycling gear is expensive. Maap is definitely at the higher end of the spectrum. I would expect easy and fast returns of any item, given that you could spend something like £500 for one bib and one jersey.
However, it takes aaages until they refund. It used to be a lot faster, now it's like 3-4 weeks, at least for me here in the UK. I had to chase already last time after 3 weeks, now again, after 3 weeks I'm chasing. No one gets back, no one responds to emails, they just don't care. At this point, I'm starting to get worried if Maap scaled up too fast, opening fancy shops, etc, but is now keeping money to back up financial problems.
Definitely not going to purchase anymore; lots of good and new brands like Ryzon are pushing into the market. Sad....

Believe the bad reviews. There is NO customer service. I have been trying to find out how to exchange a defective item for 10 days. I guess I’ve lost my money.

Half the things weren't available & they did not reach out. I asked them after 2 weeks why they didn't ship it yet.
Refunded me for the suddenly "out of stock" items.
One week later I told them I want to cancel the order & magically 30' later it was shipped. Honestly they should've just cancelled it. The items are absolute s**** quality, jerseys don't feel nice AT all!
I can recommend Ryzon, got their stuff after 3 days.
If you are even the slightest bit "plus" size (L in normal clothes) u look hideous.
I was excited to buy things from maap. Will never purchase ever again from this company. I can absolutely second all those negative reviews. Sorry maap - do better & stop scamming the costumer with this low quality items.
What went wrong ... more like what went right ???
What went wrong? Better to ask what went right? I have supported this company as an Adelaide cyclist since its inception. Back then, they really valued us Aussie customers and had telephones that were answered and voicemail messages that were returned. Back then, I remember a specific team leader stepping in and going above and beyond good customer service and replacing some new faulty bibs which cost a lot - even back then. Now ... well ... where to start? Some Aussie female actually picked up the 03 Victorian number on Monday afternoon. I actually spoke to her twice. She promised to get back to me with an answer to my question by COB. She did not. I called Tuesday and left a voicemail message. Nobody bothered to call me back. I called Wednesday and left a voicemail message. Nobody bothered to call me back. I wasted 45 minutes of my time tonight (Wednesday) with a chat operator who lied to me that she was in Australia at 11:30pm (yeah, right) and working from Australia for MAAP at that time. It was a complete waste of my time and that operator did nothing to help me with any of my queries and did nothing to make me feel like a valued customer. Now I know why I have been buying Rapha for the past 5+ years. YOU HAVE WELL AND TRULY DISGRACED YOURSELF MAAP and I will personally spread the word about you online and personally to Adelaide cyclists. And to think, all I wanted was a little intervention by MAAP to ensure that my order was despatched urgently and arrived in Adelaide before I go overseas on Saturday 6 July as I wanted to take the kit with me. There is no excuse. I don't give a damn if you are having sales. The whole planet is on sale and everybody else can deal with it. Rapha deals with it. There are plenty of new cycling kit companies that have some damn good products now and I'd go so far as to say that their knicks are probably better than Rapha and I will certainly be buying another pair. So there's no room for a company that is too big for its boots and has forgotten its roots. UNHAPPY :-(

Utterly appalling and very costly experience.
They posted some very expensive, and as it turned out, some disgracefully overpriced items in a flimsy jiffy bag which burst open during transit leaving several items missing.
Emails/messages completely ignored.
Rubbish company.
Non existent customer service.
Nonexistent support. Don’t buy
No contact number for UK and they haven’t replied to my 4 emails over 2 weeks
Return process is unnecessarily complicated and stressful, especially when there is zero support. I’ll be giving the items away. Waste of money and effort.

Products are great but i wanted to change one shirt size bigger. No one replys to my messages, i have contacted via email and website weeks ago but nobody answers.

MAAP is the second most expensive brand - read extremely overpriced - so it is completely logical to have high expectations.
On my last order the products were incredibly wrinkled and full of creases - unacceptable. Especially because the items may not be ironed.
You stop for coffee, you are ashamed because you look like an unkempt, neglected person, a clochard.
Luckily this won't happen again in the future. I will NEVER buy MAAP products again.
The fact that Customer Service does not respond to these reviews says enough. If only to apologize to loyal customers.

Waiting for nothing
Order was confirmed straight away - did not hear anything for 7 days and the money was withdrawed.
Then received an e-mail that said almost my entire order was not in stock - but I was granted a 10% discount for additional items.. on the same day they sent out a 10% promocode for all subscribers….

Damaged order, no reaction
After a short delivery I received an already damaged product. I wrote the customer support immediately but didn’t receive an answer until today (it has been 7 days), also to my second mail - nobody is answering.
Seeing this I will never order at Maap again, which is really said because the quality is super good. But paying those prices, getting a damaged product and having no reaction to it is not the way you should treat your costumers in that price range….
Unreasonable return experience and no customer support
Unfortunately I can echo all the negative comments I have seen here. You pay a fortune for the items and if you want to return something you only get a gift card (and you wait ages to get this).
If you send emails to customer service...you wait ages to have an answer.
I made the mistake once ordering with them...and I will never do the mistake again! It's so easy to lose customers nowadays...expensive brands like MAAP should pay more attention to customer experience!

Great kit
Unfortunately my MAAP experience got off to a slightly dodgy start as my delivery got mislaid -the courier put the parcel in my bin... However - MAAP were very apologetic and sorted the situation out which I really appreciated. I have knocked one star off to reflect this hiccuup but it has not put me off using them.
I have to say that their kit is extremely good - so much cycling gear is pretty tasteless - MAAP is the perfect combo of being excellent from a technical point of view and it's also very stylish. Used my new top and socks on a sportif - they were super comfortable.
Will def be buying from them again.
Scam like experience
I ordered a jersey and then paid and then nothing for a month. They told me it was because of a technical issue where there was no last name attached to my order so it was never sent to a warehouse. Not sure how this is possible since there checkout flow takes that information. Support was unhelpful and while they cancelled the order did little to make it “right” and gave a whatever attitude. Not what you would expect from a premium brand.

No delivery or status available in costumer support. I ordered a jersey and received auto confirmation about payment. After this nothing happened couple of weeks. Contacted support few times to get some help and only received excuses but no fact about order delivery. Never experienced this type of business attitude anywhere else. Don't buy your stuff here, their competitors provide much better service and client focus.
