Brilliant service throughout whole proccess, was always a pleasure going into the Manchester store and checking updates with Connor who was nothing but helpful from start to finish. Couldn't recommend the staff high enough - Once we got the bike it has been amazing, exactly what we wanted, no issues and used quite a lot so far! Connor has also been equally as great and helpful with aftercare answering any post-purchase questions we had. Definitely use the MCR store if you are looking to buy!

As one of the Original investor’s I have waited nearly 2 years for my what was meant to be top of the range Founders Edition.
After endless excuses it finally arrived this week.
As a Folding bike the two ends don’t meet in the middle, out by about 1.5 mm. There is obvious signs of an attempt to marry the two together with the use of a large hammer or similar by the damage to the metal and the paint work. Even if they did join together the battery would remain loose so with riding around eventually break the terminal’s leading to potentially dire consequences for both battery and rider.
As a share holder it pains me to write this as I will obviously never regain my investment and will probably never see a rideable bike, but this company is not fit for purpose, after years/months of endless excuses they still cannot prove a share holder with a rideable bike.

Before getting my mate x bike the support/sales staff were excellent in advising me one which model to get and answering any question I had. I did have two issues with the bike in just over a year of owning it, the first being a motor issue and the second being a controller issue. With the motor issue the bike was picked up from my house and returned a few weeks later working better than before. The controller issue was fixed by simply sending my controller and getting a new one sent to me. I was comfortable with the installation myself so it made the process very easy. The staff have always been friendly and easy to talk to.

Speaking to Naveed was a pleasure and he couldn’t be more helpful. We went through the options regarding the Green initiative and I signed up to this.
Naveed was very helpful when looking to buy accessories for my bike and the whole process was seamless.
The bike arrived soon after and looked great.

Amazing bike and such an amazing team in the uk. They are passionate about the bike and will guide you in the choice and any tweak you want to make to it. The bike is solid and easy to fold perfect for travelling if needed. Could not be happier well done guys

good bike fun to drive quick and
unlikely to fall overall a brilliant bike. It was the best e-bike that I have driven and I was not scared to death like most other e-bikes. Anyone can use them. Thick tyres so very unlikely to puncture.

I’m really please with my Mate X eBike. Saad in customer services has been very helpful before, during and after my cyclescheme purchase. The bike is manufactured to a high quality and the ride is amazing. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing test ride today at the Mate store in Covent Garden. The bike is so much better looking in person and so comfy too. I'm most definitely going to have one of these bad boys by the end of this year. And mostly thank you to Aytac who talked me through everything. It was a wicked experience.

I travelled over 2 hours to visit the Covent Garden store to purchase two e-bikes I saw on social media. Once I arrived at the store, I noticed the store was closed!

I Googled nearby competitors and found two beautiful bikes and kitted them out to maximise the beauty of the bikes. Super pleased that I looked elsewhere as the MATE Bikes have a lot of complications with them.

I had been sub conscioulsy thinking about an electric bike for months - and then saw the Mate store in Manchester last week.
It is rare these days to receive such competant, willing and knowledgeable advice and support in the sales process.
I can not speak highly enoiugh of Lewis and teh guys at Mate, Manchester. Superb.
The bike was bought on the Friday, collected on the Saturday and been ridden everyday since! I love it.
However so do the kids and hence am likely to have to buy another. Just superb and a great shopping experience.

After many many months following this new company and their bike, a trip to Covent garden confirmed I needed this bike! Harris was on hand that day to walk me through my purchase. After probably 90 mins of myself looking through nearly every item in the shop, and seeing whats on offer, I could see how the company intends to operate by surrounding its already good product with well chosen high quality upgrades and products. This may be a company in its infancy but its clear that they have started off as they mean to go on, and behind all the modern marketing its nice to know there is a group of people who are proud of their product and willing to stand by it, offering great customer service.
Now I’m looking forward to nice beach prom rides and showing it off at the veedub shows this year. Cant wait!

I test rode the mate x 250 and mate x 750. Found the seller friendly and helpful. The staff in the shop was friendly and I felt comfortable buying from this team.

I purchased my Mate X bike second hand and wanted some aftercare help so I gave mate shop a call and I really got to say that they have helped me a lot with different things.
One was my bike is unfortunately pink lol and I’m a big 6 foot male, so I wanted to price up a re spray also a cover on the rear wheel where the power cable goes into the Motor has split so I wondered if I could purchase a new one.
I spoke to a gentleman called Andrew who was very helpful and also Saad, all I can say is thank you both for the time and help you provided even though my bike was a private buy.

Great experience, fantastic service from Aytac and I cannot rate these bikes enough.
I have not riden a bike since I was 16 and Aytac made me feel at ease straight away, giving me the confidence to test drive the bike, once on and started the ride I did not look back, I loved it straight away, felt like a 16 year old again so we purchased 2. Cannot wait to be riding around the Highlands!
