We ordered a large shed from this company and it was the best decision. The shed is not only visually beautiful, but it is also solidly built from thick wood rather than the thin panels usually found in DIY stores. The assembly team did an outstanding job, and we are enjoying a shed that was worth every pound.
The showroom team also made a positive impression on us. They were very helpful and addressed every concern we had, so I highly recommend them.

We were looking for a good quality shed that was slightly higher than standard and had shopped around quite a bit . From placing our order the process was smooth and efficient. Our old shed was dismantled and taken away by two friendly and polite gentleman who were not troubled by the somewhat awkward access. They completed the installation in good time and we are very pleased with the new shed.

We couldn’t be happier with the service from MCD Garden Buildings. From the moment we placed our order right through to installation, the team were absolutely brilliant. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and everything was handled professionally and efficiently. Janet in the office was especially helpful, keeping us informed and making the whole process easy and stress-free. The finished shed is exactly what we wanted, and the workmanship is excellent. Quality worth paying for.
After hour upon hour of Internet research, I decided I needed to visit the MCD showroom to see the quality in person.
Whilst not the biggest, the range on show does allow you to see examples of most of their products and the options available. The staff were very friendly and not pushy in the slightest.
More than happy with the quality and after selecting the optional carpenters door, I placed my order.
Delivery and erection was on time by two friendly, skilful and tidy workers.
Unfortunately after their departure I found that the door was hinged on the wrong side (a change to the original order). Once notified an action plan to rectify the situation was put in place and completed at the next available opportunity.
The product actually looks better in situ than in the showroom and the spec and quality are second to none that I have seen.

Really pleased with our summerhouse, we’ve had it for a couple of years now and it’s definitely stood the test of time. It’s become a like second living room for our family! Would highly recommend

Excellent value, great service
Took up option to visit and inspect the sheds on display. Ordered there and then. Pleasant, efficient and direct process. Well within the projected time delivery and building-up was planned. Two man team were great, efficient and within 4 hours all sorted. The shed is exactly as commissioned and excellent value.

Garden Shed with a Pent Roof.
I was looking for a long time for a Garden Shed with a Pent Roof to replace my very old shed. I stopped looking when I saw MCD Garden Buildings (MCD) - After reading the description of the Quality of the Wood and also the Value - I decided to go to the Show Room (Barnsley) and have a look for myself and was really impressed.
MCD had exactly what I wanted - The Sales Team are very Helpful and Professional. - Bought the Shed that I Wanted and very pleased with this.

Excellent Company
I am absolutely thrilled with my summerhouse. From ordering to installation the process was seamless. The quality is excellent and the care taken on installation day was second to none. I did a lot of research and looked a lot of different companies before I decided to go with MCD, I have not been disappointed.

Great service and quality shed
I purchased a large garden shed with some customisation and treatment products. The process was really easy with plenty of support available from the MCD team.
The product was delivered and installed as planned. The installation team worked quickly and the end results are excellent - great shed and great service all round.

I highly recommend MCD Garden Buildings UK. I bought a shed from them and the customer care is outstanding, no pushing you to buy, just was shown the type of shed I required and then left me to consider it. Martin gave me a date of delivery and install and that never changed.
The guys that came with the shed to install it was very friendly, very funny, and did an excellent job. I was extremely happy with the overall result and design. So thank you very much and I will be telling my friends. And if anyone is thinking about having a new shed, MCD in Barnsley is the No.1 for all garden buildings.

A great family firm producing quality…
A great family firm producing quality sheds.
I purchased a 12’ x 8’ cottage complete with floor, guttering and insulation but without windows.
The whole process works very smoothly and looks good.
One small point - I could see daylight when looking up into the roof apex. As the shed came insulated I didn’t want to loose any heat there so I made small fillets that I screwed in place to fill the gaps.
I have now installed power and lighting, so ready to go.

Brilliant shed company
II am over the moon with my new shed.The guys that delivered it and fitted it did a great job and it didn't take them to long to fit. The shed is made from really good strong wood not like the ones you get at a DIY store.The sheds fully lined inside which makes it look crisp.I asked the advice of the fitter whats the best preserve to use which was very helpful and I have ordered from the company as it was a really good price. I can really recommend this company, I shall be ordering a new summer house nex

What a great company
We needed a new shed for our club and after looking at other manufactures we decided on MCD Sheds. From placing our order to delivery everything went to plan with no problems whatsoever.
