The customer support in the UK is atrocious, ordered an item on 17th Dec 24, still not arrived.
I have been trying to sort the non delivery of the parcel for 43 days now and have asked for a refund 7 times.
Customer support just keep sending out the same type of email, see below

I bought my item from the mi website. Item came well packaged but defective. Started a refund process and it went smoothly, save for confusing wording and unclear deadlines. Customer service answered all of my questions and eased my worries. Item was sent back and my refund was successful. I wish Xiaomi didn't build such a bad rep for customer support, since I was freaking out about the possibility of getting scammed when sending my item back.

I won't be using Xiaomi again. They ran a promotion offering £35 off one of their older products in exchange for 20 points, but the items were sold out within minutes. Even when logged into my account, they demanded I submit all my personal information and agree to their terms and conditions, likely to sell my data, just to inquire about a refund for the points.
I even emailed them to see if they would honor the discount, given how quickly the offer disappeared—right at midnight. Their response was a disappointing "No!"
Xiaomi, you can keep the points. I won’t be needing them because I’ll never buy your products again

Be careful, they are lying, lying, lying. Take your money and no product. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM, DON'T TRUST PLEASE. They have really bad customer service and also bad delivery services. They don't give you any tracking number, so you don't know where is your parcel, if that wasn't delivered you can't even reschedule the delivery. I just got an email my parcel has been delivered, but no details, no pictures, even no notice from the delivery company. I run everywhere I asked all of my neighbours, but nobody see my parcel. When I contacted with the Mi, they give me the tracking number, but never say sorry.... After that bad experience with Mi I don't want anything from them. ONLY REFUND. They are unprofessional. Don't trust them.

Ordered a phone on 16th Jan 2025. Shows delivered on 18th Jan in the DPD tracking. Also shows photo of phone in someone else's garden.
It's now almost 24th Jan and have only been told the problem been escalated, still with no sign of the phone. It's now 27th Jan with no updates. Just stay clear of this company.

I ordered a Poco X7 pro. Almost 2 weeks passed and the item is not even shipped!?
Several time contacted the support, but nobody tells you nothing. It will be shipped after 20.01.2025 but when nobody knows. This is utterly unprofessional..
Update: The item was indeed shipped on 22.01. Now waiting the delivery.

Absolutely shocking support from Xiaomi I have bought an X14T and there is a faulty battery issue ongoing.
I just want a refund and move on but nothing from Xiaomi do not buy from these people.
Update 4/1/25: I spoke to customer services 3 times and no real support please think before you buy from Xiaomi it is not worth it.

Xiaomi's phones are good, but god help you if they ever go wrong because their customer service is one of the worst I've dealt with. It's like drawing blood from a stone. Every reply will be a cookie-cutter, copy-and-paste response not even answering your question, and it'll be answered by a different person each time, who haven't even read the previous messages. As a different person is answering each subsequent message, you will get contradictary answers to the same questions, or you'll get asked something you already answered.
Had a faulty phone that wouldn't charge, they repaired it after 3 WEEKS of waiting - but the repaired phone still wont charge wirelessly. Told customer service that I would like a new phone since they obviously can't be trusted to rapair a phone, and I didn't want to have to wait another 3 WEEKS - only to be given the run-around. It's been 10 days since receiving my broken phone back, they won't give me a new phone, so if it has to be repaired again that might be 52 days I've not had a working phone. That is just not acceptable.

Looks as though I am having a similar experience to a lot of other people. After ordering a phone on 14 December, the delivery couldn’t be made as the package was damaged apparently although they didn’t even knock on the door and give us the option… which we would have taken it as it was only a small dent on the box. I appreciate this may not be xaomis fault however DPD returned the parcel to them and despite calling and sending multiple emails the only response I get is they will look into it. It’s now been a month and the only other way of describing this company is a scam, taken my money, no product, no refund and nobody actually seems to care from the business.

I purchased the Redmi Buds 6 Lite, and after only a few uses, the case lid stopped closing properly. This meant I couldn’t carry it in my pocket, rendering the earbuds completely useless. It feels like an absolute waste of money and is certainly not a product I would recommend.
Since the earbuds were under warranty, I returned them for a replacement. Weeks later, I noticed the status of my return was updated to say "Protective case key feeling defect." However, I’ve had no further communication or updates about my replacement. Despite patiently waiting, I still haven’t received a replacement, and the entire process has been unnecessarily lengthy and frustrating.
This small purchase from Xiaomi has caused me nothing but stress, and I would strongly advise against buying this product—or any other from Xiaomi—based on this experience. It feels like an outright scam, and their customer service has been absolutely appalling.

I bought the Redmi Buds 6, and after just 3 months of normal use, the small grill on one earbud fell off. When I contacted customer support, they blamed it on usage instead of admitting a manufacturing defect. The response was dismissive and unhelpful.
I regret not checking Trustpilot reviews before buying, as I now agree 1000% with others about Xiaomi's poor customer service. I won’t be buying from them again. Avoid this brand if you expect quality or decent support!

Have never experienced such terrible customer service from a major company.Hsd to return a phone for a replacement.After doing that on December 12,as of January 2 neither received a replacement or a refund.Instead experience customer service seemingly not from U K citizen that involves deliberately refusing to tell you what is going on and when they do eventually promise that will have resolved the matter not doing so I have been customer of Xiaomi since 2018 but never again as they have total contempt for customers and even worse blatantly ignore UK consumer law.This attitude obviously comes from senior management who are responsible for their staff acting like a bunch of scam artists.

Terrible customer service such a shame over such a small issue which would have been easy to sort. Recived a phone from my wife for Christmas was unfortunately not the one required. Requested a return but was a few days over there very short 14 day return policy. Product was unopened and only looking to get a higher spec product from them. They would not extend there policy as a gesture of good will and refused to put me through to a manager. I understand there poicy is 14 days but customer service goes a long way to building a Good reputation.

Zero stars. Worse company ever.
Placed an order 2 weeks ago for 2 phones. One for myself and one for my son for Christmas. A week later I happened to notice a refund on my PayPal account. They'd refunded myle for the phones, however they hadn't told me they were doing this. No communication at all.
Contacted customer service who said they were out of stock but now back in stock, so I could re order.
I re order. A week later, they've not been dispatched and xmas is a week away, so I speak to them on live chat. Assure me they will be dispatched soon. Get an email 2 hours later saying there's been an issue in the warehouse and they will refund me!!
So I place a third order. The only reason being I've had this phone recommended, I know nothing about phones and no time to search as it's an Xmas gift. So I placed the third order and speak to customer service online chat asking if they can ensure a delivery before Xmas. They tell me there is no stock and my THIRD order will be CANCELLED. So until I'm refunded they're holding £1000 of my money. I'm not getting any phones and it was my son's Christmas presnet.
Disgusting company. Avoid.

Do not buy Xiaomi phones.
I had high hopes for xiaomi when i bought poco f6 (my first and last xiaomi phone)
I am facing a lot of inconvenences
deal breakers are :
Android widgets disappear from home screen regularly every day. don't bother putting them on your home screen again, they won't stay there for long.
The very basic app most peope use in day to day life like android auto is just simply not working, tried all suggestions available, my 4 other phones work just fine only xiaomi doesn't.
I wish i didn't buy xiaomi but couldn't expect the number of isssues is increasing with every consecutive update

Got a new tablet in August for birthday but it's faulty and sent it back for replacement as requested but only returned by the end of October. Request for refund before it sent back but they just ignored. Worst customer service and no communication between department.

Scammers!!! Took £229.99 off me on 18th october for a scooter still jo scooter and no refund ring up and emails many many times same thing they are sorry and investigating gave me a tracking number for dpd spoke to dpd they never recieved tge scooter to start with even after taking the 7 days to dispatch after being told will be dispatched in 1 to 2 days!!!! Then they proceeded to send me a picture of a box being delivered to my house which was lego not a scooter i had to prove this to them with photographs even thogh dpd was saying they never recieved a parcel from them for me im now 3 weeks in and they have decided to tell me it was sent with dhl and delivered but im disabled so home all the time and it definatly hasnt been delivered and now im still waiting for a refund was told 7 days and ive still recieved nothing dont wadte your time and money buy from a legit company these are clesrly scammers i will be taking this furthur

I was using mi 11 lite ..It's very poor phone after using 1 year it updates software since then power button and fingerprint not working.
If you want to assist I still got the receipt I bought mi 11 lite from Argos but after few months power botton stopped working I was using the phone tapping the screen.
