Had my Milanese band for just over two years and it’s now broken and Mintapple want nothing to do with, other than offering me a 10% discount to purchase a further one! Why would you considering they don’t stand the rest of time. The magnetic part of the band has completely separated from the band and it’s lucky I didn’t lose my watch at the same time.

Really disappointed with Mintapple. Premium price, nice designs and packaging but let down by appalling quality and customer service.

Purchased an Apple strap for £100. Clasp kept opening spontaneously and almost lost watch a few times. Contacted Mintapple who begrudgingly sent me a new clasp after initially stating it was not a common fault and asking for a video. Clear from Trust pilot not so uncommon.

Was happy to wear for a few months until the pin attaching watch to strap kept on failing - again almost lost my watch. Predictably Mintapple gave me a very curt response saying not a common fault however after pushing back said they would replace the part if I paid P&P at £4.95. Seems ridiculously expensive to send a tiny part so ultimately just paying for the part.

Will never buy from Mintapple again - I will be investing my £4.95 in a competitor’s strap. A quarter of the price for an identical product.

Brilliant as will reply personally re stock wrong size was sent and immediately and v v efficiently rectified 3rd product now

Recently contacted mintapple customer service due to my Milanese rose gold strap discolouring when purchased less then 6 months ago and I was absolutely appalled by there dismissive responses. I asked a simple question about warranties and they ignored my emails about what I was actually complaining about and told me that they could not see discolouring which was clearly there from the numerous pictures I sent. After another set of pictures that I sent them, they said due to location, the markings that they could see, they would classify that as wear and tear, when there website clearly indicates that it’s stainless steel and will last a lifetime and the bracelet will not tarnish or discolour. They refused to replace the bracelet nor did they offer any compensation and continued to ignore specific queries. No surprises with the 48% bad review rate and told me not to threaten them with the trust polite post. I will be pursuing this as this unacceptable from a so called reputable company. No refund or replacement offered. I will be also be posting the email trail on social media so people can see the low level of customer service and incompetence from this company and the audacity to tell me not to threaten the with trust pilot. Gob smacked!!

The colour on a Milanese strap I purchased as a gift started to come off within a couple of weeks but the recipient did not tell me for a few months. I purchased it from Selfridges who were not interested and suggested I contact Mintapple directly. I did and although customer services were quick to reply and polite they refused to refund or replace. So much for a premium product retailing at a top end store.....
Mintapple have replied but are incorrect in that the strap was purchased at Christmas - less than 8 months!

Purchased a phone case from this company, the case was purchased via selffridges and arrived on time , after a couple of months the leather start to look worn … and then after 5 months it started to fall apart, the plastic base broke at the ends the leather totally peeled off , honestly amazed they get away with this as it’s a relativly expensive item .. tried selffridges who sold the item to me and they told me to contact the maker, tried to contact the maker and let’s say I would have more chance of finding life on Mars !! So if you read this Please contact me so you can take this awful item back and refund me thank you

It’s OK. Leather strap looks a lot “cheaper” in real life than it does in the photos. Sort of clunky and not comfortable. Colours are also off. Website clunky so ordered two of the same by accident and the returns plus shipping is almost half so not even worth it standing in the line to the post office.

I ordered a British racing green and apple watch strap and a phone case for my iPhone 11. I am very happy with the packaging and the quality of the products received. Pricing was also very good value.

I have also ordered an alligator Apple Watch strap. The updating for the order progress needs to be improved as there is no visibility on when the strap will be ready and/or shipped. The strap is a premium product and at a premium pricing so I would expect much better from Mintapple.

I would definitely order again from the Company and is a good reflection of "Made in the UK" mark of quality.

Terrible experience on my first purchase with the strap arriving damaged and the customer service giving a terrible customer support, blaming me of scratching it when I was just writing 10mins after it arrived. Quality is ok but you can find some other brands with better price-quality balance. But the worst without doubt the customer service. I spent around 95£ in a damaged strap for a present that can’t give it to the person. Awful!!!

The band is already scratched, not even 2 weeks old. Cost me £99 plus £20 of fed ex shipping. When they delivered there was a £50 charge additionally which wasn't advised when ordering. Not ordering again, nor reccomending!

I bought the Stainless Bracelet Band in Stainless Black for my S5 watch. Looked nice, had a good system for adjusting, so seemed okay. Website seemed to have lots of 5 + 4 star reviews (surprising when I actually looked here). Item shipped quickly, the packaging was nice. It was a little fiddly to set up, but felt good overall.

Until I wore it. The strap would keep coming loose. Not a good sign with a watch of this value. It could have easily slipped off my wrist. Initially I thought the catch mechanism wasn't up to scratch, so I contacted customer service. I explained I was experiencing random moments of the strap coming loose. They replied asking me for photos, and a video showing it happening.

I could not believe it. How could I get a video of this, short of attaching a GoPro to my wrist and hoping it happens before the battery ran out?

I tried to persist. It happened so often my health data was getting screwed up because the watch would go back to locked mode.

I met a former colleague in a design agency I worked at - he was a product designer, an expert in Solidworks modelling. I showed him the strap, he looked it over and said it was a pile of poop. He showed me a fundamental design flaw. The release buttons are situated on the base of the strap. This is in direct contact with the skin. What was happening was that either my skin or clothing was putting pressure (even the slightest pressure at times) on these buttons, causing the strap to release. I've just been walking the dogs and tested the strap, having is release 3 times in a 30 minute walk.

I responded to Mintapples "Customer Service" and explained that leather isn't a substance I'd use out of principle, and silicone straps affect my skin. I also explained my former colleagues findings, stating that this was a design flaw, the product was not working as intended and I wanted a return and refund.

I have heard nothing since. Curiously, the customer reviews can't be found on the site any more. Wonder why?

I purchased a Link Bracelet for my Apple Watch Serie 6 based on the fact the add said the link bracelet is suitable for small wrists as small as 11cm. Mine is 14.5cm (ie size 4 Apple strap).
Once you remove all the necessary links to shorten the bracelet to my suitable size, the bracelet remains so stiff it becomes oval and not round, therefore leaving massive gaps on each sides of my wrist.
The coating also got damaged by just sliding the bracelet in the watch VERY CAREFULLY!
Although this product is clearly NOT suitable for small wrists and the quality of the coating not as good as what MintApple advertise, not only they told me to remove more links to shorten the bracelet, not understanding that it does not sort the problem of the bracelet becoming oval in the process, they accused me of damaging their bracelet and refused to refund me.
They did offer to exchange the link bracelet against another one, supposedly more flexible...
It made ZERO difference.
I now have to wear a very unconfortable and unsighlty £100 link bracelet...
Rarely have I ever had such poor customer experience!

EDIT IN RESPONSE TO MINT APPLE: Not only the link bracelet is absolutely not suitable for small wrists (as explained above, the bracelet becomes oval if I remove too many links therefore becomes unsightly and very uncomfortable to wear), but the iwatch 6 gold pink coating is awful. Mint Apple's condition for me to be able to exchange the 2nd link bracelet against a milanese bracelet was to send it back in pristine condition. As it got damaged by just sliding it in (very carefully!!), I had no choice but to keep it… And despite having had a foot operation that got me bed ridden for a few weeks, the rose gold colour got severely worn off just by just wearing the bracelet at home doing almost nothing!
Absolutely not fit for purpose, a complete waste of £99...

BE WARY: EITHER DISHONEST OR INCOMPETENT

In response to my review about a broken watch band, Mint Apple posted on this forum that they would refund me.

Despite several attempts to contact them, they have not honoured this.

Either they are dishonest, and posted this just to give others the impression that they are responsive, or they can’t organise themselves.

Without any response or communication from them, it’s difficult to know which.

In any event, I’m still out of pocket and have a useless watch band.

AVOID

Ordered 3 matching products, dark blue alligator skin leather: iphone 13 case, watch strap, airpods pro case. The phone case airpods case had my initials embossed (optional and free).

General comments: leather quality and feel excellent.
Packaging was very good.
Ordering process straightforward and delivery prompt.
Mintapple name on back of phone case and airpods case is very pronounced and significantly detracts from look, if they must have their name visible (ie not on inside - which would be better) something more subtle and out of way would be better personally.
The embossed initials are huge and again something more discrete would look classier. Also had for a couple of weeks and already starting to scratch off. That said, it was optional and a preview if how that would look is possible.

Phone case: leather quality and fit very good. That said, for some reason there is a gap at the top, and bottom and sides - unlike Apple’s own leather case (admittedly only limited colours and finishes), which is at a similar price point which gives complete coverage. Obviously this exposes those areas to scratches but also dust/dirt collecting. This could definitely be better designed and would be better mirroring Apple’s design given price point. This is main reason for me going for 3 stars.

Watch strap: fits very easily, easy to adjust just, and looks very nice. Leather of good quality and very comfortable - can feel it starting to soften even after couple of weeks.

Airpods pro case: fits very snugly, leather and feel excellent. See point above about tackiness of mintapple logo prominence.

Great experience and a beautiful set of products

The packaging was as fantastic as the product itself. Will compliment and protect my iPhone perfectly, awesome product!

Brilliant customer service!

I broke the clasp on my strap. Within 24h of contacting customer services, they responded. I had a few questions and follow up questions. They responded really quickly and answered all my questions. I had my replacement clasp within a couple of days - they turned it around almost immediately. Very helpful team. The products are of high quality and so is Customer Service.

Ordered and received a watch strap off them. The clasp did not work properly and the quality was not brilliant so I asked for a Refund but was refused as all items are built to order!
A few strap colours and clasp colours make each item made to order! REALLY!
Not impressed and will not go anywhere near them again, looks a decent company from their website but obviously its not, Steer Clear!!
