Disappointing product and customer service

I really wanted to love my titanium link bracelet as it looks great, but unfortunately I’ve been disappointed with both the product and the customer service.

The clasp occasionally opens unexpectedly during normal wear, depending on how I move my wrist. It doesn’t happen constantly, which makes it difficult to reproduce on demand, but it has happened often enough that I’m worried about my Apple Watch falling off and being damaged or lost. I also find the clasp uncomfortable as it digs into my wrist.

I contacted Mint Apple just three weeks after receiving the strap, explained the problem and asked if I could return it for a refund. Instead, I was sent a replacement clasp. When I later reiterated that I’d originally asked for a refund, I was told that because I hadn’t responded to their email offering the replacement, they had taken this as my acceptance of that solution. I found that particularly disappointing, as I had never asked for or expressly agreed to a replacement.

They subsequently offered to inspect the bracelet and refund me if they found a fault. However, because the problem is intermittent and generally the clasp appears to function normally, I wasn’t confident that a brief inspection would reproduce what happens during everyday wear, so I decided not to pursue the return.

For the price, I expected a strap that I could wear comfortably and, most importantly, trust to keep an expensive watch securely on my wrist. Sadly, that hasn’t been my experience.

After explaining that I was disappointed with both the product and the way my complaint had been handled, my return case was closed and I was offered a discount code towards another Mint Apple purchase.

It’s a shame because the bracelet looks lovely, but overall I’ve been very disappointed with the quality, practicality and customer service.

I love Mintapple, there products are amazing, I have the iPhone cases and AirPod cases and I simply love the quality and feel of the leather, very stylish and classy as well as having great protection, I’ve bought both iPhone 16 pro max and iPhone 17 pro max cases as well as the AirPod cases, I haven’t known about Mintapple for very long and reading the reviews kind of left me wondering if I should buy the Iphone and AirPod products but I decided to try them and see for myself and I am so happy I did because the quality is brilliant and I have bought many more expensive cases and I can honestly say that Mintapple are my favourite and I will always buy there products moving forward and customer service are really nice and helpful.

I had been a happy customer of Mint Apple and enjoyed one of their leather straps. In January I decided to replace my silicone Apple strap with one of their Perfect Fit Silicone straps. Not even 6 months later the magnetic clasp failed and it was obvious the glue in the magnet had failed. Contacted Mint and they were actually really helpful and replaced the strap free of charge. Not even 6 weeks after receiving the new strap exactly the same happened again. Note - I do not shower with my watch but there is a fault with the glue / fix in the magnetic strap. DO NOT BUY THIS STRAP as its obviously faulty and a manufacturing issue. I am DONE with Mint Apple and would NEVER buy any product from them as its obvious their QC is terrible and they know this particular strap has a fault. Do note waste your money or time and simply buy a new strap from Apple.

I come across Mintapple when I was looking for a leather iPhone case and also a AirPods case to match and I am so glad that I did, I have had many many expensive iPhone cases over the years and I can honestly say that my Mintapple cases are the best I have ever bought and I am very fussy and I love perfection, these products are amazing, the quality is brilliant and the leather is quality and it also gives very good protection, I have purchased 4 cases now and all within weeks and Mintapple will be my go to brand for my cases going forward. Customer service are brilliant and promptly sorted a mistake I made and were very helpful and understanding, I am saying that honestly, they are amazing. I would 100% recommend this brand, the product is outstanding and the quality is amazing. I was sceptical because I did read a lot of the negative feedback but I decided to find out for myself and I am really happy I did. For me at least my experience with Mintapple has been very positive. Thank you

LIARS!! This awful company is refusing to refund me under legal obligation.

Their website is unclear is what sizing they are selling. You end up purchasing incorrect goods then tell you you need to pay more to have it fixed or refuse a refund. Avoid like the plague

I really wanted to like the cases. I’m very particular about aesthetics and practicality so I did research beforehand, and also shop in Selfridges and trust that they would not stock low quality products. There was a 6 month warranty so I felt safe spending the amount of money for the cases. However this brand is very low quality and they do not honour their warranty. I ordered two cases from them. Both cases and 1 replacement disintegrated and was damaged within weeks of normal use. The first time it happened I contacted customer service and to their credit they sent me a replacement. Then the second case also had the same issue. This time with a week of using it. The initial replacement started peeling within 10 days of normal use. The case looks cheap and shabby. Considering the price you are paying I would steer clear. Customer service did send me a replacement but once that also started disintegrating, I contacted them again and they were rude and dismissive. They know they have a poor, cheaply made product and have no customer service. I thought because they are stocked in Selfridges they are a premium brand however they are no better than a cheap case on Amazon. Albeit with better marketing. I hope this review helps someone to make a decision.

If I had read the previous reviews I would have never purchased the several ‘luxury’ leather items from this brand.
I contacted customer services to explain how one of the items, a genuine leather iPhone case, which I had only a couple of months had been coming off the shell and was no longer useable, this had solely been from the friction of taking my phon in/out of my pocket. Alike previous comment, the team had no interest and explained I should have maintained the leather suggesting it required treatment alike leather shoes which is utter nonsense.
I have cheap cases from Amazon last far longer than a £70.00 case merely months old.
I would not recommend this brand nor would I purchase from them again.
I also was disappointed how big the font of their logo ‘MINTAPPLE’ is on items, took away from my custom initials situated directly next to it.

I wish I’d read the reviews on here before buying a MintApple iPhone case for a Christmas gift. Sadly the quality of the product is poor. I emailed the customer services team to share with them the fact that we were disappointed by how the leather was wearing after such a short period of use (6 weeks). They aren’t interested. I received a stock email which looked like it had been cut and pasted (each paragraph a different colour and font size).

Their response was ‘Unfortunately, we will not be able to replace your iPhone case. Your case is showing signs of neglect and a lack of care resulting in the dark, stained appearance which is non recoverable.’

The phone case had been used for 6 weeks!

Please don’t waste your money.

Very attractive quality products, nice packaging and presentation. I have purchased four iPhone cases, they all look good and protect the phone well. The colours are true to the website.

The delivery was two days later than expected otherwise I would have scored five stars!

Ordering item was fine, I waited for the colour teal to come back in stock on an air pod pro case. Unfortunately the lid of case is too loose and falls off, case is fine but not workable I’m afraid with a loose top, so will be getting touch, if possible, and returning it. I need to know if this is a one off faulty case or is this particular batch simply too big. Very nice case otherwise.
Updated, trying to find customer service phone number or e mail is hopeless, this is a faulty item, in my view, so have to contact them with order number and pictures. Where are the contact details!?.

I don’t know how Mintapple has got rave reviews from some of the biggest magazines. Very misleading. They must have paid for them because what I received was very bad quality and the customer service was awful. After I waited for weeks for my order nothing came. So, I emailed customer service and they emailed back saying their machine broke down and they apologised. If I didn’t reach out, I wouldn’t have known what was going on. They did offer to refund me, but I wanted the AirPods case as it was a birthday present for my sister eventhough her birthday had now past. So, the delay made it a belated birthday present. I thought it would be worth the wait as I got it personalised and they had leather in her favourite colour. I trusted the rave reviews from the mags. so, I was even more disappointed when it finally arrived. Her initials weren’t monogrammed in gold properly, the Mintapple logo at the back was already fading and the stitching was loose with huge gaps in between. The case already looked used and old. I paid a premium price and received poor craftsmanship and they refused to return it claiming everything was stitched by hand, which I thought was a rubbish excuse for really bad quality.
Sorry, forgot to mention this is from 2024, but people need to know they won’t receive the premium product they paid for and they should expect rude customer service. I have kept the email thread with them, which includes the pictures I sent them.

I preorder two monogrammed AirPod cases in nov and the website said preorder and would be available from 1st Dec.
I didn’t hear anything the first week of December so I contacted them and they told me that there has been a delay and that I would definitely receive them in time for Christmas.
After multiple email exchanges and excuses from the company, the items did not arrive with the last reason being that they have been lost by Royal Mail. Really disappointing and unhelpful especially at Christmas time. Best to avoid

The product is amazing. I bought a silicon IPhone Air case. Apple has not produced them for the IPhone Air. However, this product more than makes up for it.

I have just received my new phone case. Beautifully designed, constructed and presented. Fits perfectly and price fair for what is clearly a premium product.

Materials are first rate and there is an excellent range of colours and finishes.

MagSafe compatible too. Very pleased.

I take back my previous review, the case did appear beautifully constructed, but….

Only three weeks later the leather has started peeling off from inside the corners. I emailed Mintapple to question this and was advised they were not concerned as only minor.

So glad to know that they are not concerned, and that my case will continue to function as a phone case, but no mention of the poor workmanship-technique that has led to my 70 quid phone case breaking up after 3 weeks use.

*I thought it only fair to update my review. I had concerns as my iPhone case had shown almost immediate signs of wear, and customer services didn’t seem interested.

A few months later, and to be fair, it hasn’t worsened, in fact the case looks good. Contrary to what a lot of people have said, my case has not lost colour, and has not worn further. All in all, is a beautifully crafted case. Would now rate 3-4/5.*
