Awful company

Awful company. Have emailed twice now to cancel my subscription using the email they provide to cancel but haven’t had reply and they keep taking money from my account. Absolute scam, avoid!!!

The quickest way to cancel your subscription will always be online in your account settings, or through your app subscriptions if you purchased on the app.

Our team works hard to respond to all emails within 24 working hours, however in busy periods this may take slightly longer. If you still have not heard back from them please do reach back out.

I had a problem with being able to log…

I had a problem with being able to log in so I contacted mob and the problem was sorted within the day. At first I was getting frustrated as I was having a conversation with an AI but once I spoke (well emailed) to an actual human everything was resolved and I’m know on the app with hundreds of fantastic recipes.

Continue to take payment when cancelled

Signed up for free trial and cancelled before the free trial was up as wasn’t using it enough .
They continued to try and take 6 payments . Luckily I had used an account with little funds so payment didn’t go through . Much back and forth with customer care to sort this as they said I hadn’t cancelled when I had !! Had to provide proof/screenshots of cancellation . Not good enough . Andrea was pleasant enough to be fair in customer care but too long to sort the issue .

Two premium subscriptions

So there was a mix up with my premium subscription because it turned out I had not one but two, one in the app and one in the website, which unfortunately were not visible in the same place for me to know. Luckily, Andrea from Mob team really helped me out to cancel one of them and get refunded. Very fast and very easy! Thanks again! Keep up the great job Mob :)

Amazing customer care

Amazing customer care. Didn’t use the service but had a payment gone through in error in the trial phase. Andrea was such a kind soul and did everything to sort this issue for me. I can only imagine how good this app is, if the customer service for non customers is this good. Definitely looking to work with them in the future!

MOB Positive Customer Service

I had a very positive experience with MOB. I signed up for the free trial in error not realising that the monthly fee was quite hefty. This I raised with MOB through their email contact and my subscription was cancelled promptly and MOB refunded me the payment that was taken.
It seems as if some people have experienced the opposite, but if you contact them through email and go past the AI initial reply and request to have an agent contact you then the problem seems to be solved promptly and efficiently. MOB app wasn't for me as I didn't think I would use it enough for the price but I can't fault the customer service team.

Stress and anxiety - DO NOT USE!

The stress and anxiety that came with trying to cancel a free trial! There was no way to cancel on the app. There was no option to cancel when logged into the website by phone or desktop. Contacting customer services connected me to an AI Robot who called me by the wrong name. There was a link to speak to a customer services advisor on this email - when I clicked the link, it said link expired! All this took over 3 days by which point the annual fee was already taken out of my account with non way to stop it! Absolutely awful, scamming people out of money. DO NOT USE!!!

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review - sorry to hear that you had trouble cancelling your Mob subscription.

If you signed up for your subscription on the app, you'll need to cancel through your app subscriptions which you can find in your account on whichever app store you purchased from (Apple or Google). If you signed up on the web, you can find the option to cancel in your account settings.

I can see that this query was resolved by our team, and although it took 3 days to reach a resolution as you mentioned in your review, you received a response within 24hrs of each email you sent across this period.

Refund

I had mistakenly continued with an annual subscription. I contacted them and resolved this and was issued a refund after approx 3 days.

The Mob staff support was helpful throughout the whole process.

received full refund for accidental trial roll over

So i signed up for a mob free trial, but without realising it rolled over to an annual subscription and charged me. I promptly contacted their customer service and was met with an AI bot, which was helpful and then offered me to speak to a human agent. I got a response from Andrea probably about 4 days later in which she offered me a full refund due to my financial hardship of being a student and on the benefit.
I’m really happy with this outcome and the customer service. I received the full refund in my account four days after andrea contacted me :)

Excellent customer service

I signed up for the free trial as the recipes were nice and easy and I liked the layout. I then forgot all about it until I got a notification about payment (I didn't have enough in my account at the time). I had a very straightforward experience with cancellation, starting with the AI before requesting that a team member make contact. Andrea was really helpful. Once I had confirmed some account details everything was cancelled and no payment was claimed - something that other companies might make a fuss about. My only minor criticism is that there was a bit of a delay between emails but I presume that's only due to being busy. Had I made use of the recipes during the free trial I would have definitely signed up - maybe when life gets a little less busy!

I love mob! So delicious and easy to follow. I use it several times every week. My friends have also become fans after tasting the dishes I made them. 🙈😋

Great Customer Service

Staff that work for Mob’s communication department are super helpful and are very efficient in responding. They have their customers best interests at heart and maintain their professionalism. If you need any help or advice, contact them, they’ll be happy to help, couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you - specifically Andrea who helped resolve my query.
