After having no response to my emails…

After having no response to my emails to mob regarding being wrongly charged for a subscription after it was cancelled prior to the end of the free period. I posted a review on here, Sam contacted me by email however all emails going into help@mob are being undelivered by their server (even when replying to an email from Sam) with the message undeliverable as my (mob account) registered with my email address has been deactivated. I have also emailed from another email address copying in my registered email address with my full name and address explaining this and forwarding the undeliverable email from their server and I have still had no response (this email has been delivered)! Customer Service and your processes clearly have issues, please advice.

Great customer service

Great app but with a lot of cookbooks at home found I wasn't using it. Cancelling was easy and provided a refund as it was within the cut off period. Customer service prompt and helpful, sorted it without any fuss. Would recommend despite it not being for me!

Can't cancel subscription

I tried to cancel before my free trial ran out but was struggling, I eventually figured it out and got to the final stage of the process but was unable to cancel for some reason, I tired multiple times but it didn't work. So I just put a block on the payment so I could deal with it later. Now a few days later with them trying to take the money I literally can't cancel my subscription because the app and the website don't seem to register that I have the subscription so I only see the upgrade now and free trial options. I've spent way to long trying to figure this out it's just ridiculous. I don't normally leave reviews and am very good with tech, which is why this id annoying me so much as I can see other people have similar problems and it's just scummy.

We work hard to make the cancellation process as easy as possible - if you have any trouble with it then please do reach out to our customer support team at help@mob.co.uk and they'll be happy to help.

Sometimes if the system is unable to take a payment, it will re-try until the subscription is automatically cancelled due to non-payment. During this time, you may not be able to process a cancellation as the system is actively re-trying payment, but the team will always be happy to help you resolve this, if that is the case.

Absolutely fantastic customer service. Really easy to deal with when I accidentally subscribed twice - once through their website & once through the App Store. Super helpful. Once I had confirmed my account details the refund was put through without any trouble.

And I’m yet to make a recipe I don’t love!

The app is a game changer for busy…

The app is a game changer for busy people. Simply click what you like and the real bonus is the shopping list it creates for you, absolutely fantastic. Every meal so far has been amazing, although I do like to take credit for cooking it so well 😉😂

Customer service is amazing I dealt with Andrea as I messed my subscription up and couldn’t work out how to cancel it . Andrea has the best customer service skills I’ve ever dealt with in a company.
So kind and helpful

Really good customer service

Really good customer service, my issue was dealt with quickly and efficiently with no problems. For various reasons I requested a refund and it was issued with no hesitation. Very impressed, wish more companies were like this!

Currently struggling to cancel a free…

Currently struggling to cancel a free trial, and it seems as if a payment has been taken before the 5 day free period is up. Companies make it too hard to cancel the subscriptions so that people forget and leave it running. This is bad practice and I would not recommend this site due to the issues i am facing with cancelling my subscription.

Sorry to hear that you've not been able to cancel your trial, if you've signed up on the website you need to head to your account settings to cancel before the trial is over to avoid being charged.

Our system processes your payment as soon as the trial ends - we specify at checkout how long the trial period is to ensure that you are able to cancel before you are charged, if you don't want to continue with the subscription after the trial.

Subscription error

I have not used the service, but after following an Instagram link found myself a premium subscriber. I emailed the company as soon as I saw the funds leaving my account and Andrea responded to my emails in a very timely manner and refunded the subscription charge. If her response and professionalism is used as a standard by which to judge the company, then I would have no hesitation in recommending them. Whilst the service was not something I wished to use, their customer care could persuade me otherwise!

Great customer service

While the app itself wasn’t for me (I found that the recipe I tried took a lot longer than stated), the customer service was excellent. I had not realised that the app and the website were separate, and I had inadvertently created two accounts: I cancelled the app during the free trial period but did not cancel the website account and was therefore charged. When I raised this with Mob, they were polite, friendly, helpful, understanding and efficient, and processed a refund promptly. I was so grateful that they made it hassle-free.

Have to jump through hoops to cancel a trial, they don't make it easy. Expensive app really, you can Google recipes or use social platforms for free.

We've spent a lot of time trying to make cancelling as easy as possible for both web and app subscriptions, so I'm sorry to hear this is not the experience you've had.

How you can cancel depends on where you bought your subscription. For web subscriptions you need to head to your account settings to cancel, and for app subscriptions you can cancel in your app subscriptions.

Fantastic app

Fantastic app. Really enjoying the choice of meals and will continue to use all the recipes.
Customer service were great. I wanted to turn off the autorenewal and Andrea was extremely helpful.
Give it a go for sure!
