Took part in a brilliant National Three Peaks challenge run by Mountaineerin. The whole trip was faultlessly organised, communication was great, and the safety of the group was obviously taken very seriously. Our guide, Rob, was hugely experienced, encouraging and looked out for everybody in the group - whatever their abilities. He was incredibly good at his job and had the trust of the entire group throughout. The driver, Shaun, was equally great at his job and accommodating to everyone's needs. Considering how much is involved in organising a trip of this nature in a safe manner, the cost was really reasonable. I'd be very happy to recommend Mountaineerin and will look at booking future trips with them. Thanks!

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Simon and Pam for getting me up and down the three peaks. From start to finish, I felt safe… on the mountains and on the roads between them (thanks Darren)
I have a fear of heights/falling. Having pre-warned Simon and Pam before starting the challenge, they made sure they were there close by at any tricky points to give me the confidence to face my fear. It didn’t take long for them to suss out the points on the mountains that would ordinarily have freaked me out. They know those mountains so well.
So thanks to my fellow three peakers (thanks ladies) and our wonderful guides,I completed the challenge without getting distressed.
And, yes, I’ll do it again, but only with the Mountaineerin team.

We had the most fabulous 3 days climbing the three national peaks in spite of the weather. The trip was organised brilliantly, comfortable hotels with great restaurants, logistics worked really well, Simon and Pam did a great job explaining what to expect on each mountain, keeping us on track timewise and just charming company. I would highly recommend getting a group of 10 friends together and taking part in this activity. Plenty of time for a good chat along the way and finishing with a sense of achievement. Simon and Pam were amazing from start to finish. Quite a feat managing 9 demanding ladies up 3 peaks in constant rain and low visibility. We felt safe and encouraged and most importantly had great fun. Darren did a great job safely driving us from peak to peak. Seamless organisation, amazing knowledge of the mountains, passion for the outdoors and with a smile at all times.

I had an awesome time at the weekend when taking part in the 3 peaks challenge. We successfully completed the challenge in just over 23hrs and I credit this in the most part to Darren & Sean.

As the tour leader Darren was brilliant and was everything you wished for in a guide - he was able to lead and unite the team; support, encourage and at times reassure those taking part. His knowledge and experience meant that he was able to utilise the strengths of individuals within the group so he could focus on others that needed more of a boost. - Unfailing sense of humor and always had a ditty or two up his sleeve which made for a great distraction.

I would also like to tell you how fantastic Sean was - he was the driving hero – he couldn’t have been more encouraging and seemed to genuinely care how we all got on. Sean was always waiting with a smile on his face as we trudged the final steps to meet the coach with heavy feet and jelly legs.

When we set out the group looked nothing more than an uncanny band of strangers, with no more in common than the desire to complete a hiking time trial but somewhere over three mountains we became a team. It’s amazing what over 10 hours on a bus, countless blisters, lack of sleep and sugar highs can do !

I just wanted to leave a review regarding the national 3 peaks challenge that took part in this weekend with Darren our guide.

It was an excellent trip that was organised and run exceptionally well. The whole process was very smooth and the group as a hole were spectacular. Pushing their limits to the max.
Darren our guide was amazing. He understood the needs of the group as well as each individual. Also pushing the pace at all times for us to achieve our target. His knowledge of the terrain, the surrounding areas and routes were outstanding. His stories along the way made for great entertainment and memories especially on Snowdon.
Shaun the driver was exceptional and a real pleasure to be around. Doing his part to get us to our destinations as quickly as possible and also in taking care of those that were injured.

Although the second driver was late to the changeover, we still achieved our target.

We would like to just say that we don’t think we could have got through the weekend without the incredible team at Mountaineering! Rob our guide was just fantastic in everyway and we feel so so lucky that he was our guide. He was patient, kind, so knowledgeable, experienced and just kept morale up at all times. He was so brilliant, and I would recommend this company and their staff to everyone and anyone! Their team made the trip and our experience, thank you so much.

The drivers were also amazing – especially Garry who drove so safely and nothing was ever to much effort.

Thank you so much again. We think Mountaineering are AMAZING and we will definitely be back to do something else.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for the weekend and arranging another place for me to be picked up. (I had issues with my car and the company arranged a different pick up location for me!) Simon, Rob and Gary went above and beyond there.

The weekend was amazing, I have attempted to do the 3 peaks with another company and I’m actually glad I was turned around now because then I wouldn’t have found your company!

One in a lifetime event for a great charity event

Great weekend completing the National 3 peak challenge in 24 hours. The toughest thing I have ever done, testing both physically and mentally . It was great as it was a small group of people making it more personal. The event was well organised and Rob our guide was amazing at providing all the information we needed as well as keeping us motivated and making sure we kept to time to achieve our goal within 24 hours. The pace of the group was brisk so it is important to be very fit physically to meet the demands of the challenge.

Excellent one in a lifetime experience. Really glad to have completed the challenge with lots of encouragement and support from the group guide. Many thanks guys

It was absolutely brilliant.
For 4 of our 5 it was the first time up a mountain and we all loved it.
We didn’t train thinking it would be easy so we were all quite taken back as to how bad our legs felt come Monday morning!

Quick note on Darren - he was brilliant the entire trip. Gave great advice, helped with the stragglers and pushed the rest of us to compete the challenge in sub 23:30. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

Unfortunately, due to uncontrollable circumstances regarding a fatal accident on route to our second mountain we were unable to complete the full 3 peaks challenge but even despite this our group had such a great time! Darren our guide was just great! He really kept us in good spirits and done a great job under hard circumstances! He is so knowledgeable and experienced and just an all round nice guy! Carl our driver was also great, funny and friendly! We really enjoyed being in both their company, just as well as we were stuck on the bus for a lot longer then expected haha! Even though we couldn’t complete the challenge I think everyone really appreciated the slower pace at the last mountain, in snowdon and being able to really enjoy the beauty of it all! We had such fantastic weather and views so that sort of counteracted the bad luck with the traffic! Darren really was great and he even offered to take us back to do scafell pike at a later date if he can fit it into his diary which was so lovely of him! Overall it was still a great experience and one I would highly recommend to anyone! It’s tough but worth it! Thank you again for all the efforts made to give us a great weekend!

Amazing experience run by and delivered by an exceptional team!

Communication from Simon upon booking was informative and extremely supportive in terms of preparing for the challenge.

Information regarding the arrangements for the weekend were extremely detailed and provided everything you needed to know ahead of climb.

I could not fault the service provided by the team and the instructor was exceptional - Darren was brilliant throughout the climb, supportive, informative and extremely knowledgeable. He recognised different weaknesses within the team and ensured these members were helped during certain elements of the climb.

All in all......an A * service provided by an A * company!!

I genuinely had the most amazing experience trekking to Everest Base Camp with Mountaineerin. From the team in the UK to the Porters, every one was so friendly, funny and supportive. Yet 100% serious when it came to the safety of the group.

I would highly recommend them and can't wait for the next adventure with them.

Just completed the national 3 peaks challenge with Mountaineerin Ltd. It was very well organised with a night in a nice hotel on the Friday night. The drivers were very professional and Darren our guide was superb and pushed us through the challenge. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company and will definitely use them again.

It was a dream to make it before my 50th Bday and Always an ambition to conquer N3P. Amazing challenge. Personally very satisfied and achieved the target within time, thanks especially to Rob and co. thank you so much for the most amazing 3 peaks trip. Rob was nothing short of amazing and we genuinely had the best time. I’m so sad that it is over and I would do it all over again in a heart beat.

The whole team were lovely and we made some incredible memories that will stay with us for ever. We all laughed, cried and laughed some more. It was truly character building and Scarfell Pike in particular taught us all a lesson or two about ourselves.

We Will definitely be back for another adventure!!!!
