Absolute shambles, no car at the airport on arrival. Then given another car by a 3rd party company on there behalf. And have now been charged nearly £1000 for damage which was not caused by us and movemee have been 0 help on trying to resolve this!! Stay clear

I would give them zero but there is no zero. The application does not work and there are extra charges for insurance if you don’t have a visa . Be mindful of extra charges . Buy insurance elsewhere and get a car with a key if you are desperate to use them. All review below are accurate stay away from them

I rented a car
I rented a car, submitted all the documents via the app, and everything was approved. However, the app is in a never-ending loop - I deinstalled it, used another device...etc (I am a software engineer so know what to do). I cannot submit anything nor am I receiving any approval or key. Hence, I contacted customer support yesterday, and still no reply nor fix. I am renting the car tomororw. I cannot modify or cancel the booking. Thankfully, I recorded the whole process and will submit the data to my bank and cancel the order as a company that cannot provide the service that it charges for...
What company does not have any customer service or replies or picks up the phone....like seriously.....

Pur arnaque ! Ils vous prélèvent l’argent et vous n’aurez pas le véhicule. Leur application ne fonctionne pas et ils vous feront croire que la réservation a échoué car c’est vous qui avez mal joint les documents .
Nous n’avons jamais été remboursés !
Des arnaques pareilles méritent d’être emmenées en justice

Stick to the traditional way of hiring a car
The initial experience seemed good; quick, easy and cheap, however when I arrived to collect the car with my family I had missed the timeframe in which I was supposed to collect it, and the booking was cancelled automatically without my knowledge. When I called the customer services line, I was met with an answer message stating they were closed and would not be able to respond until the next day. This essentially left me at the airport without a hire car, stranded with my family and all of our luggage.
After taking a taxi to the hotel I phoned the customer service line again the very next morning and was met with a poor attitude from the person on the phone. When I (understandably) took issue with the situation, I was told that refunding my hire car rental was a gesture of goodwill and I was lucky to be receiving anything back from them as it was all my fault.
The whole experience left me feeling very frustrated and I had to take time out of my holiday to go and collect another hire car.
I have learnt my lesson here - Although cheap, it was a mistake and I will go through a traditional booking system next time.

MoveMee will rip you off and waste your time
We returned the car with no damage - sent MoveMee the photographs to show as much and left. 4 days later my card was charged £410 for damages. No invoice from movemee, no email warning that this would be the case. Only when we rang up to query the transaction did they provide any detail (although not to me - the person whose card they charged - for 'GDPR reasons')
They told us on the phone that they agreed there was no evidence of damage and were challenging the charge on our behalf - if so then why did they charge my card before this was completed?
The damage to the car must have occured between drop off and inspection. By renting a car through this app you are apparently on the hook for what ever might happen in this window as movemee will charge you for the damages - even when by their own admission there is no evidence that the car was damaged in the photos they ask you to provide at drop off
Also when renting the car the app froze multiple times and deleted progress. Verification of documents is a very slow process. Not worth it at all

Good tech team but crappy vehicle
An absolutely wonderful technical support team! I loved chatting with you on WhatsApp! Great team on the location as well.
But this is the only advantage, sadly :( the process on-site took forever and I almost got late to my ferry to Thasos. The car (3-y.o. Opel Meriva, diesel, stick) was in a VERY crappy condition. The parking brake died after 200 km, the particle filter died after another 50 km, my friends had to leave the car so the car could go uphill, the AC barely worked...
Do not rent from these sharks
Do not, I repeat, do not EVER rent from these sharks. I rented for a 3 day period. My airline then changed my flight arrival time. I attempted to update my pick up and drop off time on the MoveMee app to reflect the new flights. App didn't work - the link saying "amend my booking" was non responsive. Called customer service, they said don't worry it can be amended at the pick up location. Got to the pick up location. Spent an hour there whilst the rental desk said they couldn't help because they were intermediaries. Finally got in the car and returned it on time 3 days later (as per the agreement I had with customer service telephone desk). Was hit with an overcharge equalling FOUR TIMES the daily rate I was paying. Complained to customer service who said they couldn't help becasue it was an intermediary company making the decision and not them. I will be making a legal claim against these sharks. Clearly a case of abusive business practice. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

It is my first time using MoveMee and it is terrible!
It is my first time using MoveMee and would absolutely not recommend it to any car users.
Firstly, its app is horrendously dysfunctional. It keeps of demanding me to contact customer service for whatever poor reasons. It needs to be fixed!
Secondly, when I opted for a auto-car instead of a manual cars, they made me pay double its price. It is an absolute scam and just horrendous. Although the service is done by green motion.
Thirdly, they charged me 50 pounds for using 15% of their car fuels. To what extent is this justified? This is just ridiculous and was done without my consent.
Lastly, the service done my green motion is just very poor in general. When I asked to return the car, they refused to check it whilst i was there and instead insisted to check it when i am gone. Since this was done intentionally, I'd like to ask whether this was part of the extra money scam too?

Perfect contact problems with the app
When the booking for a car, was done I saw that it order the wrong time for get a car. I took contact and I get very accurate help to change my arrival time. We had also a question for a second driver and get a quick answer.
The only problem was the scanning for my identity and driver license, but here also had my contact a good solution. So I am very settisfy about my contact.

The value for money is excellent and the customer service is phenomenal - on both occasions I used movemee, I had to call in to the customer service team who were excellent. This being said, there was a reason I had to call! The app was a bit faulty, hence needing to call in. On the whole, a good experience for the price.

Positive experience from Athens airport
We rented a hire car at Athens Airport through MoveMee from 19-28th August and had a very positive experience despite some initial concerns on reading the below reviews.
I booked through the app (which does need some upgrade work) with relative ease and opted for the premium package. The cost was much cheaper than any other company around Athens airport at the time. My ID documents didn’t upload the correct numbers when scanned so I did need to call the guys in the office to do this manually, but it wasn’t an issue.
We arrived in Athens and found the car waiting for us in the arrivals area as stated on the email. Checking into the car took 5 minutes. Bluetooth key on the phone unlocks the car, key in glove compartment and I uploaded 4 photos from each of the corners of the car. Fuel was 1/4 full but a petrol station was within 5km. The car was very clean and drove well throughout our holiday.
When dropping off the car it was the same process reversed. 4 photos, check the fuel level, replace key in glove compartment and lock the car with the phone. The only concern we did have was that the next booked users for the car arrived to the car the moment I signed it back in. It didn’t seem as though the car was going to be cleaned between uses but we could have been wrong about that. All together we were very happy and would use again.

interesting concept but very dissapointing experience
Please avoid.
- When i arrived at athens airport, there was no car waiting for meoutside the departures as it was supposed to. The Movemee telephone number was only answered after 4 attempts and only then, another car was allocated to me. This took approx 40 mins, with me waiting in the sun outside the airport with my luggage.
- The car was in a very poor condition. Wheel covers were missing, there was a loud knocking sound from the suspension when driving and it generaly look very tired.
- The car broke down on the way back to the airport, leaving me stranded on the motorway. Once again, no one would pick up the MoveMee emergency telephone numbers and had to call the UK office to ask the Greek office to pick up !. A replacement car was brought to me after a 2 hr wait. Thankfully i wasnot catching a flight otherwise i would have certainly missed it.
- To conclude, the biggest dissapointment was that when i emailed my experience to the MoveMee customer support with all the photos and facts, no responce or reply was ever recieved, despite resending a reminder.
Clearly MoveMee has no interest in their customer service, unfortunately.
So, my recommendation, avoid using MoveMee.......
