Warning!!! Do not buy from this online shop! They are a shame to online trading. I decided to use their promotion: buy 2, receive 3 samples. As a result, after many emails about delays and excuses about the Iran war, I received only 1. The other 2 (including the free sample) were cancelled by them without consulting me. Don't be fooled by their promotions!
When I requested a refund, I was offered store credit, which I declined. Then they promised me a refund, which I still haven't received a month later.
Obviously, this is how they operate, delivering part of what you have ordered and stealing the rest of the money from their customers.

3 weeks later no product, they claimed it had shipped until I said I will be escilating to a charge back and they were not concerned as it had never shipped despite their faux tracking.

dismissive of requests, they make their money on orders that never arrive and are forgoten about by the customer.

Terrible. No delivery of product, fobbed off when asking for a refund multiple times and then ghosted.
Disputed purchase.

So disappointed!! BAIT ADVERTISING. I ordered a perfume for a gift. They claim next day dispatch. FALSE! I sent a email asking where it was along with a sample perfume. They did not state anywhere that the perfume was low in stock. I asked where my order was and a refund as the time for gift was past. I was offered a store credit and a 20% discount. No thank you!! They ignored my request for refund after order was LATE yet again being sent. I did not receive the sample as they had none. Very shoddy service. Now they are ignoring my request for a refund on the sample perfume. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS OUTFIT!!

Ordering to arrival. It arrived and was packaged well. Perfume nice gift. The scented cream is too pungent and gives me a headache.

Have been waiting since January, then told delay was due to war they then offered a replacement in May, ordered what was indicated as available on the website, but still nothing. Have asked for a refund but now no response from vendor. Stay away.

Had a couple problems about my original order being unavailable, but the worker Aubrey was able to give me a larger sized fragrance of my choice and gave me a discount on top with no extra pay, so in total a decent experience👍

Avoid at all costs!! They made me wait ONE MONTH before I received my order, and they forced me to swap an unavailable product for a product they had in stock. I received 4 items while I paid for 5, they gave me a pathetic credit. Do yourself a favor and avoid a BIG headache - AVOID!!

The delivery took a month and that was annoying but the customer service was excellent. Aubrey responded straight away and got my trust back. The perfume arrived and I am a happy customer now.

Ordering process was easy and fast, The delivery was held up a bit and was not delivered by the estimated delivery date however, Messaged for updates and received automated responses and then followed up first by Aubrey and the second message I was followed up by Nicole both whom were professional and informative with what information they had that they could pass on to me. I do love the perfumes I bought, paitience was key in this instance but they were worth the wait. Thank You

The order confirmation stated my order was "being prepared at our Auckland warehouse," implying the item was in local stock and ready to ship. It wasn't.

When the item didn't arrive by the estimated date, I was told the delay was due to "the current political situation in the Middle East" disrupting sourcing, with a specific cargo shipment supposedly landing a couple of weeks later. That already didn't match the "Auckland warehouse" story I'd been given at checkout.

When that date also came and went and I followed up again, I got a completely different explanation: the item had actually been unavailable with all their suppliers for weeks: no mention of any cargo shipment at all.
So the earlier story appears to have been made up too.

Instead of offering a refund, they tried to push me into a backorder, a substitute item, or store credit: anything except giving my money back for an item they never actually had, despite presenting themselves as a local NZ shop with stock on hand.

I've had to formally request a refund, citing my rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act and the Fair Trading Act. Avoid this company.

I found the website easy to navigate, and my order was delivered without delay. Not the first time I have used My Perfume Shop, and I will certainly be going back in the future.

Currently waiting for a refund. The website advertises FAST SHIPPING with same-day dispatch for orders placed before 2pm. I ordered thinking great I will have the parcel soon...then comes the confirmation email...items I ordered on 14 July are now to be shipped 24-31 July...please note it doesn't say preorder or not in stock, and I think weird but, ok, it says confirmed and shipping from Auckland. Maybe they are picking orders slower than advertised...By the time we hit 29 July I think it's not going to be shipped as I've received no dispatch or tracking details. I email to chase up and now I get the response that delays may occur due to transfer from the Middle East. Ok so I wait till 5 August and think no this is ridiculous I have no idea how long I have to wait and this is completely false advertising anyway, and low and behold look how many negative reviews they have. It's a shame I didn't google them before I ordered, I went to them because of the range advertised and I wanted samples, they were in stock and the advertised fast timeframes. Looks like they are a SCAM and just take your money and then if they reply initially only make excuses, ask you to be patient, and then ignore you when you ask for a refund.

Prompt reply to my query about why I hadn't received my order.However it would have been handy if I had been notified about the delay.

I ordered from My Perfume Shop under the impression I was buying from a local stockist, only to find out they dropship their products from the Middle East without disclosing this at checkout.My order is now four days past the final delivery date, and they have completely failed to provide any valid shipping or tracking information. When I requested a cancellation, "Anne" from customer service refused, falsely claiming there is a 14-day delay policy noted under the "Add to cart" button. I have date-stamped screenshots proving this clause does not exist on their website.Under the Fair Trading Act 1986 and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, it is illegal to make misleading representations about delivery timelines or try to override statutory consumer rights with arbitrary company policies. They refused a refund and tried to push store credit or a swap for an item they cannot even track.This business is operating with highly deceptive practices. I am currently lodging formal complaints with the Commerce Commission and initiating a bank chargeback for non-delivery. Do not buy from them.
