We ordered two boxes, a mix mail box and the special “sticker” box. The first box, empty packages, broken items, and returned car parts. 15 packages when 20-30 were promised. Second “special” box was better but not great. Broken open and dried out Needoh cube was on everything, again 16 packages one of which was a returned/opened sex toy which appeared to be used. It’s clear the influencers get the good boxes to entice people. It’s always a risk but to get empty packages, broken returns, and used sex toys is disgusting.

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered over a month ago and have not received my box. No response from customer service. Scam scam scam.

I was so excited to receive my first Mystery Chick box after watching several influencers open them. I had 85% clothing returns from a cheap Chinese supplier. Some pieces were downright weird. I was so disappointed in this box. A pricey purchase and nowhere near getting my moneys worth. Not buying this one again

What a box of crap! The box wasn't even filled and what was in it was a bunch of Chinese fire hazard clothes that were returns in different colors. All were going to the same address as returns. Don't even waste your money on this rip off.

If there were no stars that is what they would get. I wish I had looked at this before I bought the box. I feel as if we were exploited out of 249 dollars. The write up said we would get 20 - 30 boxes. We got 17 including 1 empty box. There was not one useful item in the box. All packages had been opened and reclosed with brown packing tape. I received their package on Friday. I was so excited till I opened it. It was terrible. I received another mystery package from another company today. It was wonderful All packages were original seal. It was wonderful 25 packages. I have contacted Mystery CHick hoping they would make something good. At least give me the packages I was suppose to have. They have not contacted me back. There are better mystery boxes than Mystery Chick. Do not be tantalized by influencers.

Not What I Expected From the Advertising

I purchased the $249.99 Unclaimed/Returned Mail Super Box based on Mystery Chick’s description of “real, unopened packages from unclaimed and return mail,” “authentic mail packages,” and “Real Mail packages sourced from verified carriers.”

What I received was very different from what that advertising led me to reasonably expect.

After examining the packages, I discovered that many appeared to be customer merchandise returns. Several were specifically labeled “TikTok Shop Return,” “Return Service,” or had commercial return-shipping labels placed over the original delivery labels. Many packages also appeared to have been previously opened and taped or resealed.

That was particularly disappointing because the website specifically describes the packages as “unopened.” Based on the overall advertising describing unclaimed mail and items that were “lost, returned, or never delivered,” I understood “returned” to include mail returned through the delivery system, such as undeliverable or unclaimed packages. I did not expect my box to consist predominantly of merchandise customers had already received, opened, and returned through e-commerce return channels.

I opened every package. Not one clothing item had a recognizable brand label. The clothing was generic, with tags containing only information such as size, fabric content and/or washing instructions. Other contents included inexpensive generic merchandise such as sunglasses. One shirt even had a printing error, repeating “let yourself shine” as “lot yourself shine.”

I completely understand that a mystery box is a gamble. I wasn't expecting designer merchandise, expensive electronics, or any guaranteed dollar value. My complaint isn't that I didn't get lucky. My issue is that the nature and condition of the packages I received did not match what the advertising led me to expect.

Had I understood that my $249.99 box could consist predominantly of opened/resealed commercial e-commerce customer returns containing generic merchandise, I would not have purchased it.

I have kept all of the original packages and photographed the shipping labels, return labels, resealing and contents. I contacted Mystery Chick requesting a refund.

I have also submitted a report through BBB Scam Tracker documenting my experience. Since the matter has not been resolved, I will be filing a dispute with my bank and providing the advertising, photographs, shipping labels and other documentation supporting my claim.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing $249.99 purchase.

My strong suggestion is DO NOT BUY from Mystery Chick.

Horrible experience they were all returns from the same chinese factory nothing of value and they did not even give me 20 or so packages like website says. Tried to reach out several times with no response, they don't even respect there customers even to respond bad business. Would definitely not buy again especially due to high price of the package. Not an honest company.

all my packages were returns from what seemed to be a chinese distribution company, some packages were clearly opened and resealed then cheap garbage was sent. the biggest scam piece was a used #2 pencil, who would return that, better question, who would buy 1 #2 pencil??? they probably send decent stuff to "influencers" then scam the common folk. beware, companies like this should be investigated and shut down, i understand it's "random returns" but they should be sealed and untouched, not opened and resealed.

Awful! Was so excited for this box! Literally had 4 packages ripped open with nothing in them! They literally put 4 opened, empty packages in their box and actually shipped it! Was my first and LAST box! What a waste of money! Do not recommend them at all! Oh and don’t bother sending a message in their chat. They don’t answer them.

I wouldn't even give it one star. First of all they say you will receive 20-30 packages. I don't think I even got 10. Then you could tell they opened all the packages to see what was in them and then re taped them all with brown tape. You can tell they give all the higher quality items to influencers and give all the junk to regular people who order from them. Way over priced for what you are given. Would absolutely never buy from again and would tell all people who order from them to beware because you will get scammed.

The box came about half full, with cheap junk from China and one "package" that literally had one #2 pencil that was broken. They are making bank scamming people. Kudos for a solid business plan, shameful they aren't packing those boxes full. Everything was an Amazon return, which makes sense considering you can now pay through Amazon.

They didn't respond to the "chat" when I tried to ask where I could submit a review, so I'm guessing that is only for members who spend a ton of money with them.

Absolute rip off. Do not recomment.

False advertising on shipping. Says 1-3 days. I ordered Friday, they didn't create a label until Tuesday and didn't actually ship until Wednesday morning from NJ. I'm in Texas so now I'm looking at next week. If you're going to use Amazon fulfillment from Logan Township, NJ to ship to Texas, just be honest that it's 7-10 days total, not 1-3.

I might be mistaken but I was under the impression that I was purchasing undeliverable mail and or even some returns. I thought it was all randomly selected and I was to unwrap each item. Each item had already been unwrapped and taped back up and there was such crap in there there's nothing I can do with it. There was not one good item, not one. I'm absolutely amazed at some of the things they sent to me, and the problem is they chose to send these pieces of crap to me because they had opened the items, saw what they were and said hey "this chick is an idiot let's go ahead and give her this s***". I feel completely let down. I know it's all a gamble, but the biggest problem is that they literally opened each one and selected the crappiest of it all to send to me. It was so bad. I thought maybe I could get a few gifts out of it. I didn't even get that. It's so bad I would never ever ever buy from these people again. Mystery chick... I don't think so. You know exactly what you're doing, you're scamming people. No mystery there.

Our box was barely half full containing 13 packages when it was advertised as 20-30. The packages were all either broken, low quality, or re wrapped. Deceitful business practices. WILL NEVER BUY FROM AGAIN!!!!!

I received my box and was very disappointed it had 12 packages with only a single piece of cardboard. Don't waste your money.

I ordered a box but it had been opened with only 4 items in it. I contacted them several times with absolutely no response. DO NOT BUY!

While the box was shipped quickly a quarter of the items were broken and the rest was just junk. A lot of the tech parts were hard to figure out what exactly they were. One tech item is meant for a European outlet. Most definitely NOT worth the money.

Almost every package was junky clothes. The only thing decent in the whole box was a knockoff building set from Oriental trading. Such a waste of money.

Wow. When I say they are scam it’s true. They only send to “influencers” the rest is junk. Bought 2 boxes giving them the benefit of the doubt but wow both were awful. Plus they do not communicate well if at all. Do not buy from them please save your money for a different company. They are trash compared to others.

Everything in the box $250 box was junk. Some packages were empty. I even got a bottle 16 ounce bottle of water and a $.29 ink pen. What a rip off save your money people shame on you mystery Chick for scamming people. I will make sure I tell everybody to never order from you.
